I'm not sure what I was expecting from the stream, but that wasn't it. I'm pretty shocked we got absolutely no information on base game updates, pack refreshes or any packs/kits coming...

I'm not a Paralives fangirl, not even close. I've gotten into arguments with some of you because how I feel about that whole thing.
However.
Even I have to admit that the "tease" of Project Rene looks really familiar. Really, really familiar.
Is it online? Multiplayer? I'm not buying it till several packs are released, not interested in an empty game. I'm just curious because I won't buy it all if it is. Might be time to see if TS3 will play nice with me.
Meh. I didnt really get much hype from anything announced. Project Rene looks kinda interesting, since its probably the Sims 5. Was hoping for some sort of pack announcement but whatevs.
I didn't know what to expect, and didn't really expect anything good. But what they showed doesn't look bad.
But I think we'll have to wait quite a bit for the improved babies. It said "expecting 2023" at the bottom, which probably means we won't get them until next year (edit: and of course, confirmation of that got posted as I was typing...).
I really like the upcoming mod collaboration feature, I think it will make modding so much quicker and easier. I'm in that place now where I will really need to mod my game to enjoy it if I update, so I'm hopeful that my favorite modders will be included. I haven't modded my game in a long time because of the constant patching, it just makes it feel like I always have to change and update and it wastes too much time. So hopefully this new program will smooth all of that out.
I'm also interested in Project Rene. I hope I get a chance (and the time) to give some feedback for that because I'd love to be able to have input in the future of the game. Does anyone know where to sign up for that?

Project Rene sounds interesting but I'm wary of the online integration. It also looks like a lot of the customisation was inspired by Paralives.
I honestly thought that was a toddler at the end until I realised it was meant to be a baby.
Disappointed we only got concept art and no actual pack announcements. I was at the very least hoping for some more refreshes.
Overall I'm let down.
Finally, I'm happy that they decided to showcase that it's in development.
