- Sims modding gallery/website - I wonder if it will be in-game like the gallery? (Little Dica has already tweeted that he will be uploading his creations to the new site on Nov 14th). Does this mean that the Sims/EA will now officially support mods and custom content? That's a huge change.
- Sims 4 will be going for a minimum of 3 more years (yay!)
- Sims 5 has been announced and is in development (Project Rene)
- 2 new expansion packs coming next year? 2 new worlds were also shown in concept art
- Babies have been freed from their jails

Yes babies learning how to walk in Sims 4 will be the cutest thing ever. And for the project Rene they just didn’t show gameplay or sims (maybe they don’t exist yet), the customization looks cool and online features seem in tune with Sims 5 rumors. But it’s years away so for me there is no hype really.
I haven't been able to watch but after reading through this I am curious about the free babies. I have mixed feelings about the expansion packs. If both EP are released next year, then why was high school years released so close to the werewolves pack? Just to show occult play that they quickly needed to shut up about their first pack in 3 years? Anyhow, I hope the expansion packs will actually work properly, no more buggy mess EP, please. I am definitely curious about them.
Did the stream mention anything about system requirements? According to sims community the system requirements have changed. I hope that doesn't mean the end of playing sims 4 for me.
They have changed, you can see the updates specs here on AHQ.

@Olalla1986 Yes!! I need to go back and look at Project Rene. Seems promising! I can tell its in the very early stages. But I'm more excited about babies. We just need pre teens now!
If I can't listen to a new and returning R&B station for The Sims 4, no black simmers who are a fan of hip hop and R&B music can listen to it, and I totally can't take it no more cause it's currently 2022

Thanks for hosting us @simgirl1010 It just started pouring with rain here. The perfect ambient noise to lul me back to sleep. See you all later. Happy simming
So....there wasn't anything new announced except that TS5 or whatever its name will be is in development ? No news about TS4 ??
That there will be 2 expansion packs next year, I think they said kits coming and they showed art of the two worlds and some items and rooms in the new expansions but no specifics. Then they show a very small trailer of a baby crawling and says ‘expecting 2023’.
No details were really given for sims 4 but looks like hints for generations expansion with babies and dentures and kids bikes.
Bablers.
Well, that's the best thing from this for me.
I have no idea what we are getting between now and January, if anything is coming at all.
Actually, that's probably by design if there is nothing. That will give them time to fix bugs without introducing new ones and also give new players time to buy up old packs this holiday season.
And whatever is coming after TS4 is going to be social. It seems like they are trying to get around the problem of custom content and multi-player with a system that can handle in-game customized content.
I am concerned about them wanting us to play across pc and mobile devices.
How much will the PC game be limited by smart phones?
Not really feeling good about any of this, other than babies freed from the bassinet.
I am really concerned about TS4 being too large to be manageable. If the next packs are as broken as My Wedding Stories and High School Years have been, how much longer will it be before the game is just broken from new and old features being bugged out constantly?
We have been in this eight years and still no burglars, police NPCs, cars/car pools/taxis/school buses, hotels, casinos, adult and elder life stage pack, bands, attraction system, fashion models, horses, and fairies.
Well, it's like I said earlier: Milking Phase.
They can't call it The Sims 5 at this point because that might prevent new simmers from investing in the Sims 4.
There is over a thousand dollars worth of content to be sold to new players. Why would they bother investing in that if the next game is right around the corner? I just hope the game isn't in a state of constant brokenness due to the ridiculous amount of packs it will be burdened with in the next two to three years. By that time, the game could be so broken that you might have to decide between eliminating packs or moving on to The Sims 5.

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately my laptop no longer has enough CPU with these new specs. I was planning on getting a new pc next year so I might have to take a little break from the game for a while.

Odd. Those weren't supposed to be links at all. 🤔
I’m thinking Generations expansion.

Yes I did too. And with babies and false teeth, maybe we will get a generations pack.
