    @tanubanue ~ House of Wands would fit nicely in Moonlight Falls or even Barnacle Bay. The green palette is quite soothing and the cat decor suits Ezra and his feline friend, Nirker, to a t.

    @Catdog123 ~ LOVE the names you've gone with for this unique family! Twin fairies = twice the fun and twice the number of townies calling these two out for dates. Puck is adorable and I hesitate to show my daughter because she wants a corgi.

    @Kesminlix ~ Simple pleasures can be fun and don't need a lot of fancy packaging! What a relaxing place for sims to go for a swim or enjoy a picnic. The green colored water and lily pads makes this seem like a natural pond, not a man-made one.

    Kesminlix ~ that's a really cool home for the lady of the lake! Your landscaping is fine. Some things take some people longer to feel comfortable with but you did great. I love the pool it really looks like a pond! Something I haven't been able to achieve well yet. Very cool :)

    Oh and I hope it was crazy in a good way!

    I was hoping to get this done earlier but I ran out of time.

    @LadyEmillye

    Part 1 ....
    It was my pleasure, privilege, & challenge to create something for you. I hope that once everything settles down with your new job you'll have time for this young lady. She grew up in the suburbs of simcity. Her dream besides having a perfect garden is to live a simpler life away from the hustle and bustle of the city and suburbs.
    Presenting Hannah Wade
    Traits: Bookworm, gatherer, eco - friendly, green thumb, and lucky.
    hannah1.jpg?w=840
    There might or might not be a hint to the next part in the background ;)

    Ps, This Hannah Wade is straight from cas and has no skills.

    @tanubanue, what fun creations and I can see them fitting into one of my planned future games nicely. ;)

    @kesminlix, love the pool and the way you've used the game content. Don't stress the landscaping sometimes less really is more. :)

    @LadyEmillye, so much fun & whimsy between the family & the builds. :)

    @djsdragongirl, you've created a sweet family & a lovely back story for them. :)

    Addy I hope your birthday was everything wonderful & then some. :)

    Beautiful builds, precious pets and special sims plus some wonderful ways of presenting them.
    Everything has been custard-checked as well as listed on the front page. Thanks again for your help, Mia!

    Day Two should reveal more SIMTASTIC surprises :)

    My car is scheduled for some routine maintenance this morning so I'll return as soon as possible and play catch up.

    Good Morning All! I am up super early to get this day started with my gift for my Simtastic Buddy! Who could that be ...... ???? ..... You shall soon see! (Of course not many people were not gifted on day one, so I know there is not many left to choice from but still you must wait a bit longer. I need some much needed tea this morning to help wake and warm me up, I need to get a some fun household things started like the dishes I was too tired to do last night (am I the only one who hates doing dishes ... even with a dishwasher? Surely, I can not be the only one right? ..... ECHO echo ....)

    So I am going to wish everyone a good morning, reserve me a nice spot on this thread to work and start to get started!

    Wowza this thread has exploded with gifts! I LOVE IT! I must say it is a lot easier to comment on everyone's beautiful gems in the same spot! Awesomes and likes have been handed out to all! We've got such a creative, talented bunch here!

    @ciane: Loving the Lucky Dog casino! It fits in so well with the Lucky Palms surrounding and I know that CD has had it on his buddy list for ages. You were definitely the perfect buddy for the job! Brilliant, just brilliant! Rec'd!

    @LadyEmillye:
    - Your Berry family is super cute and I love their names! Oooh what little you can see of the home is interesting...broken windows? I hope there's not been any trouble! Rec'd!
    - The Berry Bake & Cake is such a cool name. I really hope that it will survive long enough for Bleu to revive it a little bit! Rec'd!
    - Although the Berry Estate is rather large, it looks like it's taken some hits over the years! I really hope that Bleu can turn it around and carry on the legacy! Rec'd!

    @djsdragongirl: I love a good back story and the Cassidy family sounds so interesting! It was tugging on my little heart strings to hear how Tamisha was feeling about all the changes that were happening around her. Btw, I love the name Alceed <--- it reminds me of True Blood! Big rec-a-roo for you!

    @AlphaFen: I don't think we've ever come across each other in previous Exchanges, but throughout this whole process, your messages has made me chuckle and your backstory for Bahaus Blue is no exception! I love when Simmers inject a little humor into things. I've got a huge smile on my face. Well done for creating this AWESOME starter (I always have such a hard time making them). From the backstory, Bertie sounds like a blast to have been around! Big ole rec-a-roo!

    @tanubanue: Fabulous backstory and I really LOVE the name Nirker (where does that come from)? Love the name Ezra too and it made me smile to see that enjoys to do laundry. Luckily that means he won't have to rely too heavily on Bonehilda for help in that department! I'm seeing lots of little lovely MOO tricks within the House of Wands! It all looks very very well done! Rec'd!

    @Catdog123: I LOVE the Moondancer Family! Their names are too cute! I first looked at their cover photo and thought that the dragons were some sort of gnome and then I remembered that there were dragons in the game. I love their little backstory and I really like all of their outfits! FABULOUS job m'dear! Rec-a-roo!

    @Kesminlix: Dozmay Pool is amazing! I love that it's a natural pool. It's very cute! I love the hanging chair in the tree. There are so many special touches <3 You did a fabulous job! Rec'd!

    @Mmdrgntobldrgn: Hannah Wade is super cute! I love all of her outfits AND her hair! I think my favorite is her swimsuit. I really love that one! Great choices - she's beautiful! Rec-a-roo!

    @aricarai ~ Thank you for your kind comments. The name Nirker actually was a cat I owned. When I was 4 my Dad and I rescued a kitten. We had cats but he knew I wanted one of my own. He was big on trusting his kids would know responsibility if given something to care for so I got her. She was white and gold and inspired the colors I used for the cat. Now being a 4 year old little girl I wanted to call my new kitten Princess. But Princess ended up being quite the trouble maker around the house so my Dad and brother started calling her Squirt. Nirker developed as a nickname between her and I curled up together sleeping or reading a book when she finally lost energy. I'm not sure why but to me it was a term of affection that was special for her. She lived to be 23 and a picture of her is on my computer desk to this day. Every cat I owned and own now is special but she was MY first cat and that bond is a Blessing to have had.

    MamaDragon ~ I like the name Hannah Wade. It suits her well I think :) She is rec'd and downloaded to begin adventuring in my game :)

    @AlphaFen

    Day Two of Gifting is here so ~

    It seemed to me one of the things that you really wanted and would really enjoy in your game was a redo of Lucky Palms Festival Grounds. In your letter you said there just wasn't enough to do there. I usually use lots made by myself or Cd for the festival and hadn't looked at that one in a long time but boy were you right! It needed some additions for sure.

    http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=9140701

    I stayed with the original layout of the lot and the original building on the grounds to keep with the look the creator was going for and also the look of Lucky Palms in general. I found where the lot marker was and was able to just change and edit each season. The first thing I did was the building itself. I renovated it to make the bathrooms much smaller to allow for year round tanning and photo booths. I also changed out one activity in the building so it changes in between seasons as well for each season to something different.

    Next I edited the Construction time. This is the time between seasons and I wanted there to be plenty to do but not a ton of stuff as I can imagine all these little virtual people needing to move stuff to set up the next season, lol There is ping pong, shuffleboard, chess, broom riding (for your new witches :) ), sculpting, soccer, a playground, pet items, gnubb game, music and massage chairs.

    Spring includes of course the egg hunt, water play, a gyroscope, a playground, hot air balloon rides, merry go round, gnubb game, love meters, dancing, kissing booths, hot dog competition, fortune telling, food booths, and a time machine. There are some effects on the lot that you may need to turn on when you place the lot. I had them set to either hearts or butterflies but you can, of course, set them to anything you like.

    Summer has vending machines, face painting, gnubb game, playground, golfing, a gyroscope, roller coaster, trampoline, food booth, climbing walls, hot dog contest, fire walks, water slide, and a massage table. You'll need to set the fire walks to the temperatures you would like. There is also an outdoor shower for when the sims set themselves on fire!

    Fall has the haunted house, food stand, bobbing for apples, pumpkin picking, a playground, roller skating, face painting, archery, gnubb game, basketball, bull riding, horseshoes, and the jewelry/glass making station.

    Winter has snowboarding, snowball fights, gyroscope, the claw machine (fairies are really funny with this one I think), concession stand, hot dog and pie eating contests, ice skating, spring rides for the kids, the toy making machine and bonfires. With the bonfires I noticed they cant be lit if the snow is too deep :(

    I'm sure there are other things I've forgotten to list but this gives you the idea that there are now many activities for your sims to have fun no matter the time of year! I hope you enjoy the new festival grounds!!

    @tanubanue ~ It's a good thing that Lucky Palms is known for having plenty of lot space because sims will be flocking here year round to go to the festival grounds. This activity packed place has plenty to do, before ... during ... and after each seasonal festival.

    Not sure why, but the three images within your spoiler tag aren't showing. Just the words: Fesitval1.jpg, Festival2.jpg & Festival3.jpg
    When I tried to quote and see the links themselves, those results were odd looking and are as follows:

    Thank you for your comments on both lots.

    I removed the spoiler tags since it's technically 3 pictures and I can see them just fine. Please let me know if it's still an issue.

    @Mystik1978 - I am usually the only one to do dishes at my home, so yes, even with a dishwasher, I believe most people must really hate to do dishes!

    @tanubanue - You have been really busy. I know that setting up festival lots takes a lot of time and playing through all the seasons to test them out and get good pics is a real challenge. You've done an amazing job!

    @LadyEmillye

    I hope your week is going well, today I want to introduce you to Part 2 ....
    Hannah's parents.
    The Wades have no desire to retire just yet, they love life in the city. Their daughter Hannah however wants to live a quiter life away from the city, so the wades have agreed to take some time off of work to help her hunt for her dream home.
    wades1.jpg?w=840
    You'll notice right away that they are not straight from cas, and have had a chance to explore and experience sim life to a degree.
    Nadine just might know the secret to becoming young again. ;)

    With bookworms in the house, time at the library is always appreciated.
    wades2.jpg?w=840
    The library wasn't the only place they hung out. Sometimes they would visit the fire station, or other hangouts around town.
    wades3.jpg?w=840
    wades4.jpg?w=840

    If I'm remembering correctly ... because someone forgot to write it in her notes ... Hannah get's her hair coloring from her dad and her eyes from her mom. You'll also notice that Hannah has inherited a few of her traits from her parents. :)

    As much as Jason and Nadine enjoy helping their daughter Hannah house/property hunt they both have full time careers and might not be ready to settle down into retirement just yet. So please don't feel guilty if you give them the boot once Hannah has found her dream home.

    As to why I gave her parents instead of siblings for testing purposes. I have found that if my sim founders* are more likely to pass on their genetic markers if they have parents with them when they leave cas.

    * Even when not playing long legacy games.

    Peace, GranMama Dragon

    Still not seeing them but since no one else has mentioned an issue with viewing, I wouldn't worry too much about trying to fix it for possibly one person to see. Saw the images included with your upload just fine :)

    I realize now that I started out the gifting all wrong. What I should have done was shown you the inspiration pic first and left you guessing for a day. So, though, I messed up, I'm still going to post just the inspiration pic that I should have posted yesterday, even though you've already seen it. :evil:

    Curse you biological need for sleep, you strike again! :weary: I've missed so much awesome overnight! :hushed: And thank everyone for your kind words and your weird obsessions with slurpees :*

    @LadyEmillye We crossed posts and I missed your bakery :o It's great and I like that it's a bit run down as it adds a whole ton of character :)

    @Mmdrgntobldrgn I’m with Addy I love what you’ve done with Hannah’s hair it really suits her! And you’ve started such an interesting story with the Wades.

    @aricarai Thank you :) We’ve never officially met but I lurk in the build n’ share thread and have been a long time admirer of your creativity (especially the Firehouse starter!). So it’s lovely to meet you proper like ;)

    @kesminlix The pool waterfall combination is a work of genius! *crosses lady of the lake off career choice list* Dang it! :s

    @ciane expressive is one way of putting it ;) I'm very glad you like it as I wasn't sure it would work out seeing as I need B) just to look at the décor. I wanted to pay homage to the way you mix a simple interior with bold pops of colour. If the permanent damage to my retinas is anything to by I may have gone a little overboard :*

    @Catdog123 The names are beautifully perfect! And the poses! How do these people not already have their own fantasy movie franchise!!? :worried: I've been a long admirer of your builds on these exchanges so thank you for both noticing my build and being physically endangered by it <3

    Oh @tanubanue I’m going to need a whole separate post to deal with you >:)

    @Mmdrgntobldrgn ~ Always interesting to see the family of a sim and know where their family tree began! Thanks for the information regarding parents instead of siblings so that certain genetic traits would carry forward ... I had no idea. Shall be paying more attention from here on out with the sims I play ;)
