Sim Mobs (Irish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese), one in each town (OS, WC, NC, WB) each with specialty crimes (art forgery, substances, gambling/racketeering, hacking) in an appropriately located backroom/basement hideout (gallery/art shop, pharmacy/drugstore, pub/casino, arcade) who all hate each other/have 1 ally and 2 foes, and maybe they meet in a rough bar at the same time occasionally.

YAYYY i was worried that your sims may have to have met other sims to add them to a club!
Actually, you could simply use a club to meet new people - then kick out your friends and add new strangers... may make the friend of the world aspiration a lot easier (if only they would fix the beloved trait...).

You can be in 3 different clubs, so could join one for each hobby trait, one for career networking etc. Have a group of friends for each, no need to kick anyone out
@EmmaVane I was thinking more in the lines of the "Meet New Sims" club, where only the group leader stays and everyone they already know/are friends with gets moved to another group (or not, depending on how much they really like that other Sim ). Not a group I would make, but it's good to know it will be possible.
I was just watching the clubs trailer (again) and noticed this (I haven't seen anyone mention it, but I could easily have missed something, but I'm pretty sure no one mentioned it in this thread):
That's a trait we don't have yet! So, that's at least one new trait confirmed! (and maybe another family related aspiration?)
@Dannydanbo That would be cool, much better than those good-for-nothing employees we have now - but honestly, I don't know. I do know you can have "Can We Fix It?" and "Can We Clean It?" clubs, so maybe a "Can We Sell It?" club is also among the possiblities?
I keep checking this tread and others just for more info, think I might be a "tad" bit obessed
It really is annoying because i'm the type of person who doesn't play her game until she has the new pack for it, I had this exact same problem with Get to Work and Spa day, just ugh, I start it up, play a little and go right back into the ".. oh but I can't do this now" and exit the game.
Why oh why do I do this!
sounds like torture.

I'm not sure it's the new trait. Notice how children is spelt incorrectly and the current symbol for gloomy trait is mopey. It might be intended to conceal the new trait or an older interface. Of course it could be new, but I'm suspicious.
Awww I was really getting excited about Customisable Phones too, oh well, hopefully they can be added in a future EP, at least the Group System looks more advanced than I though .

I kind of hope they aren't Loves Children and Mopey, because Family Oriented and Gloomy are pretty much the same, unless they're upgrading the current Traits for whatever reason? But I think the Icon for the Loves Children one is new?

Like I said in another thread, Loves Children would probably be more like Nurturing from TS3. It was very good for teachers and daycare workers.
However, depending how long ago they started making this EP, they might have combined them with other traits/changed name before release. Loves children might have been combined with Childish (they prefer kids for company too, I think) and Mopey might have got a change of name.
If they are new traits, maybe Gloomy will be getting a makeover.

That sounds good - nurturing. I suppose I expected traits associated with dancing, dj or leadership / social.
The funny thing about the Loves Children trait is it is indeed spelled wrong haha. Good catch @cherpar. And I also have this as a Custom Trait. I hope the traits are better

That's probably exactly what we *are* getting. And I'd bet in those alphabetical positions, but entirely different traits. "Loves" something else (not "childen" at all), and something different starting with an "M" or "N". Loves Dancing? Natural Leader?

Oh~, you got me all excited about this now. I hope you are right. This would be too good to be true, though.
"[...] and everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end."
It would be fantastic to get some new traits & aspirations, we really do need new content of those two since a lot of my sims get the same traits, although I use jealous a lot now too
Think we'll hear more next week and hopefully we get a Q&A, that way we can ask if we're getting new traits and such

This is awesome. Going to add to my thread about filter uses, thanks.
Thanks for sharing. This is fantastic news.
