Just started working on my entry for whatsociallife's new foundation contest. I was inspired by the Victorian house from the movie "Practical Magic," so I'm trying to make my own version that would fit on the foundation provided for the contest.

It's looking really nice. I particularly like those Dragon Valley ornamentations at the roof line. Nice mix of fencing doors and windows. Those shrubs look great by the back porch and main porch as well.

Thank you @tay_jean! I'm glad you liked Elsa's castle I had a really fun time building it.
@yanti68 - Bummer, but understandable! I have a mac so unfortunately, the sims 4 is not yet available to me. How are you liking it? The lack of MOO and different terrain heights make me a little nervous!

Well I still miss MOO and terrain paint but I am getting used to it. Building has become much easier now! I heard that they are going to bring out sims 4 for mac very soon. Hope to see your sims 4 builds then.
@lissykin hinted she might want me to put the puppies from the Artist's Loft pictures on the exchange, so I decided to just upload the entire family
I built Artist's Loft with Ava LeFleur in mind. She is an artistic, animal-loving, charismatic, bookworm and gatherer. She is a level 7 Architectural Designer and a level 9 painter.
I also really liked the above outerwear outfit I created for her, so I uploaded it to the exchange separately. I think it's perfect for fall! Here's a link if anyone would like to download just the plaid/scarf outfit: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=8462576
Here are some new WIPs of my "Practical Magic" inspired Victorian for @whatsociallife's fabulous foundations contest. I've had quite a busy simming day!
I wanted the backyard to feel enchanted without actually using any of the supernatural items so it would still seem realistic.
Entrance to the "secret garden"
There's certainly a lot to do in this backyard:
Outdoor Kitchen and Firepit:
Outdoor dining area and harvest stand next to the greenhouse:
I'm still working on the interiors, but have made a lot of progress. I hope to upload the finished build by the end of this weekend.
