  • Thank you so much! I think the columns I chose for that one are what push it more towards that contemporary vibe; I was unsure about them honestly but I'm glad to hear it works. 😁
  • @catmando830 Oh wow thank you so much! That means a lot. For my signature, I pressed the "." and the windows key to pull up the emoji keyboard (I'm on a windows laptop obvs) and from there I looked through the symbols tab until I found one that looked nice. From there, I inserted that symbol a few times to form a nice…
  • Sims 1, hands down, lol. For me it's not even close. In my opinion each game has been progressively improving on build mode, with sims 4 being the best by far. Which is why it boggles my mind that it's currently winning as the worst. To be fair, I never considered myself much of a builder in the previous installments and…
  • @maggiemae8135 Oh thank you so much! That's very kind of you. 🙂 I am pretty proud of most of my houses, but I was really hesitant to call myself a "professional architect god" lol, it seems a little too braggy for my liking and I also know that there is plenty I can improve on as well. 😁 I checked out your gallery page and…
  • I do get a kick out of the pop-up that appears when you try to sell masterpieces that warns you they're "very rare" since once your sim's painting skill is high enough they're capable of cranking out a few masterpieces a day, lol. Painting in this game really is overpowered for earning money. I try to avoid painting as…
  • @elanorbreton my goodness, that sounds like pure chaos! 😅
  • Ohh I'd like to add a few pictures of my builds too! 😊 Mt. Komorebi house: Black and white colonial (from imagination): Oasis Springs Spanish colonial: Based on a house my mom really loves: Secluded cabin starter: Countryside manor:
  • I would say I’m a decent builder. I love building and tend to build most of my sims’ homes myself, although I’ll still download from the gallery if I’m feeling lazy and I never tried building my own community lots. And I almost always need some kind of reference pics/floor plans to get me started/inspired, building stuff…
  • I’m definitely better at interior overall, I think. I do fancy myself a decent builder and I’ve built some houses that I’m genuinely proud of, however I know I’m nowhere near the level of a lot of people out there who make legitimately jaw-dropping and creative exteriors with amazing landscaping, lol. Landscaping in…
  • I’ve actually never thought about it until now, but no, I don’t think CAS really influences my real life fashion choices. I will say though that I like fashion in real life and I absolutely love playing around with my sims’ personal styles and building outfits for them. My own style in real life is all black and red…
  • After watching the livestream, I'm even more excited than I was before! I think my favorite things they showed were the sexual/romantic orientation update that's coming and the new social bunny app! Social media really did need a big upgrade in the game, since before it was superficial where you just take a photo for…
  • This is the first ever livestream that I'm actually going to be able to attend! Super pumped.😁
  • Meh. I don't mind the holiday I suppose since unlike others that I can't stand (like neighborhood brawl and prank day) it's not invasive to my normal gameplay and takes minimal effort to have a successful holiday since most normal interactions with other sims and objects are renamed to count towards it. That being said, I…
  • Maple brown sugar oatmeal 😊
  • Lol trust me, I completely understand!! 😅 That's probably how I would do it from now on as well, after going through it once it was such a slog to get through and overall probably not worth it, although I did feel really accomplished afterwards. I really loved that sim too, but I ended up losing him due to my PS4 having…
  • I highly doubt they will do this, but it would be nice if they did. Especially for worlds like Mt. Komorebi where there is a big difference culturally and the sims wear uniforms to school. It seems to me that all sims will go to Copperdale. But I'm not sure if they'll have all teen sims from all worlds appear there when…
  • I am so stoked!! This article seems really promising, and with this partnered with the video that was posted yesterday wants and fears are pretty much confirmed. That is awesome as I loved that feature in the sims 2 and it will hopefully add the slightest bit of challenge/personality to the gameplay as you avoid your sims'…
  • I accidentally chose the wrong option in the poll; I think that "other" would suit how I really play slightly more. I do still send my sims to uni, however I only go through with sims that were born and aged up in-game, I never start out in uni with a brand new sim. And from there I'll usually choose just one of my sim's…
  • I normally buy them one by one when I keep on top of all the new releases, but there have been times like when I first got back into the game on PS4 or if a bunch of kits come out that I don’t need right away where I’ll buy several packs at once.
  • Out of those options I think the small art town sounds the best! A close second would be the band/music camp as a former self-proclaimed "band geek." The options for glass blowing and ceramics in particular sound really interesting. I love making artistic sims, but making them paint all the time gets repetitive, so I'm…
  • @tatselk thanks!! 💕 I love what you did with Darshani as well! I like that you made her a teen, and she's definitely giving off the rich family snobby girl vibes! You also styled her outfit really well. 😁 I'm the same way, I don't usually play around with so much color and pattern, in fact I was looking at some of the…
  • I would prefer to play on the PC, but my time and money investment in the PS4 version of the game is too high to turn back now, lol 😁 it’s not bad though, I like using the controller to play instead of a mouse, and it’s nice to be able to play on the big screen. I’m glad that the console iterations of the game are exactly…
  • Flamin' Hot® Cool Ranch® Flavored Doritos®
  • Oh boy, I think I'd have to choose art, chair hammock, and taro bubble tea!
  • I hope I'm not too late! I've been pretty busy lately but I finally had enough free time today to create my sim. 🙂 His name is Trace Ellis; he loves wearing lots of color and making a statement with his outfits. He has the Mansion Baron aspiration and his traits are materialistic, dance machine, and outgoing.
  • I normally create a whole new family/save to play around with each new big pack that comes out, but I think with this one I want to play one of my current saves! The two families I am rotating between right now both have young kids, so I intend to age them to the cusp of teenhood in time for High School Years so I can use…
  • I gave Paolo Rocca a makeover and now he looks like the Brawny paper towel man.
  • Any of them would be great to have, honestly, but I went with carefree. If I remember correctly it makes it so you're never tense, would be perfect for me. If I lived a life free of stress/anxiety/overthinking, then I could be so much more productive and happy. A second choice would probably be the steel bladder, lol.
  • Personally, I prefer to have the sound on whenever I'm playing. I think maybe because it's more immersive that way, never really thought about it. My husband always has the sound off, though; he likes to listen to music/podcasts/videos while he's playing. 🙂
