~ I spun around on the front lawn and looked back at the grand Mansion. I saw a shadowy figure watching from the attic window ~
My little pumpkin basket was almost filled with Smarties, Snickers, Mary Janes, Jolly Ranchers, Dubble Bubble gum, and lots of other tasty treats. And most importantly--spider rings and temporary tattoos. Becky and I had walked all over town and now wondered what awaited us at the front door of the mysterious Mansion. We were saving the best house for last. Apparently so was everyone else.
I have recently started a legacy series called The McGregor-Thomas Household Legacy: https://www.reddit.com/r/Sims3/comments/kpr07d/the_mcgregorthomas_household_legacy_introductory/
It starts with two teenagers who recently moved to Bridgeport after being ousted from their old neighborhood. With having to attend and finish high school, taking care of their baby, and paying finances to keep a roof over their head, it becomes a challenge to literally stand on their feet almost 24/7. Can they make it? What other obstacles will come at their way as they try to lead a normal life?
I'm Lizzie, I used to write Sims 3 stories back in the day on a blog called Sims Stories by Lizzie and I recently moved all my content over to my own blog. If you would like to check that out, it has lots of challenges and stories for you to read and I am starting a brand new Sims 3 SimLit this month! www.lizzielilyy.com
I started writing Sims stories in 2013, and I have been writing off and on since then. I had a few hard years where I wasn't writing, but I'm back now. I have a few different stories, but my main one is a Pinstar legacy challenge called Echoes of Eternity. I also have a completed story called The Compound. Both are posted on Blogger and use Sims3 for the pictures.
Most of you know that I write Sims 4 stories. I've started writing Sims 3 stories last year and stopped for a while. Recently, I've been going back to writing stories. I have two versions of my Sims 3 story blog. I have Blogspot for those who want to just read and Wordpress for those who want to read and comment.
I am currently posting a Sims 3 Reddit series titled The Kenney Sisters Legacy. It is about identical twin sisters with polar opposite personalities trying to build their lives in hopes to achieve a fulfilling life. This includes Lifetime Wishes, Happiness Points, and overall how their legacies will be remembered once they are gone. Whoever has fulfilled their Lifetime Wish and/or gains more happiness points essentially 'wins'.
You can find out more about the intro here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Sims3/comments/qctjfl/preview_meet_the_kenney_sisters/ Legacy Chapters Directory: https://www.reddit.com/user/NikkionSims/comments/rxiblc/the_kenny_sisters_legacy_chapters_directory/
Any constructive feedback on it is greatly appreciated. I want to attract more readers and I feel like the posting style I have initially starts off decently but then loses interest over time. Am I dragging things out with my chapters? Honest but constructive feedback, please.
I just started a new Sims story: Hello, Twinbrook about a teen girl who's life was uprooted when her family suddenly had to move to Twinbrook for her father's work.
I'm also going to be starting a new Sims 4 story when the next expansion comes out, will be posting on the same website!
I've been gone from the sims community for a long time now - I used to write sims 3 stories back in the day. I just decided to get the sims 4, and now I've written a new story.
It's called Lucky Girl and it's about a girl called Evelyn who is spending her summer in a small seaside village with her two best friends, Kelly and Claire. While she's there she struggles for the first time with questions about her friendships, her future, and first love, as she meets a beautiful boy in a holiday house at the other end of the beach.
It's is not really a love story, It’s more about growing pains, and decisions in friendship and in love, and the way that it feels to be seventeen, nineteen, twenty one, the time in your life when everything is full of longing and life is busting with excitement and intensity.
I am writing it so that I might be able to put some of my own lingering feels from that time into words. If nobody else reads, it, no problem, but if you do, I'll be super happy to have you on my blog!
Hey all! If you are interested in reading a Legacy Family Challenge story and are as impatient as I am, I have a blog with my Forsythe Legacy Family Challenge that is near completion, as well as some other stories. Currently, my 9th generation heir has just aged up to a teenager, so it won't be long before he brings in the 10th generation. He just needs to find someone to have his babies.
Click the link in my signature to go to my blog. Then click the link on the left for the legacy challenge. If you want to read it from the beginning, simply go to the last page and start from there.
Why are most of the links and stories in this thread for Sims 4? Doesn't seem fair since 2 and 3 can't post in 4 and this thread is in the Sims 3 Stories and Legacies category.
My-Page: Memory-Stories be sure to go chronological, by clicking on "Date" instead of Memory or Action

@DivinylsFan,
Because in the earlier years of this site we didn't have separate Creative Corners like we do now. So any stories that members made were all in one section as well as this thread created by SimGuruDrake.

Ok, and so then why are the Sims 4 continuing to post in this thread long after its been sequestered by the Sims 3 category, even though there is/are their own in the 4 section? And why was it judged to be a Sims 3 thread to be moved here, when such a majority of the posts in it are for the Sims 4? Out of the 13 pages there are only a handful of Sims 3 replies. I think it better belongs in the Off-topic section.

First off, there is no where in the thread that states what Sims game this is for. And second off, it was up to the SimGuru's/community managers to decide what stays and what goes even though some of the some forum members helped create a list of TS4 threads that needed to be moved. If there was a thread that had both, TS3 and TS4 in them, then they were not added to the list to be moved.
Like this thread here that was created by a forum member that wanted to compile a list of stories for any of the Sims games. She would update her first page with new stories and links from other forum members until the community managers/SimGuru's decided to give TS3 their own Stories and Legacies section so that us TS3 players wouldn't have to scroll through the many Sims 4 threads and pages looking for TS3. And since TS3 got their own section, the OP of the thread created a new one over in the Sims 4 section even though she wasn't too thrilled about each Sims game having their own Creative Corner as that was just double the work that she had to keep up with both threads. So she ended up creating a blog on another site that she hasn't kept up with in years now. https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/861629/the-stories-and-legacies-index-gateway/p1
So in other words, I don't think it really matters which one of these threads that people put their links in since the OP's of this thread and the other 2 that I've posted didn't claim the threads to be 'TS3 Only' or 'TS4 Only' or 'TS2 Only'.
But if it's a bother to you, then take it up with one of the community managers about. But I doubt that anyone would be willing to go through the whole thread looking for TS4 links to be moved over to the TS4 section.
And sorry in advance if this post came across as me being rude which I wasn't trying to do...

I am writing a story/legacy that started in the 1700s and I will keep it going for 10 generations.
I started my story with an Outlander theme as my 2 main characters were Jamie and Claire ;) I am now on Generation 4.
I write my story in French but on my blog, you have the option to use the translation tool in the menu on the right.
Hop you'll like it!!
