One of my very favorite families to play! So glad they get included in your story, and they are the right age to play with the triplets and start a whole new romance and possible other challenge later on!
@MayaioYT Hope you enjoy it! Post some before and after pictures here if you want, or a story, or whatever It's always fun to see what people do with a place.
@ ciane, I knew you'd be doing a great job with it! And I like the plug-in nightlights touch - neat! Me, I'm busy clearing a real garden today (brushing all the green algae off the fence so that I can paint it), so I haven't got near a Sims one. But finding your story here to read is a pretty good substitute
Another great read @SamelaRita
Addie is such a kick! LOL
Love to see Lachlan growing as a person even though he needed a little push in that direction. Am definitely look forward to seeing how things progress with the information he's been given to mull over.
Another great chapter! It's great seeing the progression of everyone, sims 2 style. Do you use a mod for that or play different saves or just jump from one household to another or a combination? By the way, how is garden progressing? Did you get your fence done?
@ciane - I play with aging off for something like this, and keep track of what everyone's ages would really be and do a manual transition. Toddler to baby at one, I thought, and probably toddler to child at 4. Teen is easy! I'm only playing one season per family, so it sort of evens out. And story progression is off, as I don't want them moving out of the neighbourhood! This is as much about the story as the building challenge, I think, so it's not really strictly a renovacy-by-the-rules...
I did get the fence done, thankyou! And then had a total do-next-to-nothing day on Friday as I was so tired.
I think I've come up with another rule/principle for playing multiple renovacies in one game. Namely, that they can create community areas from scratch by using the build/buy on this lot cheat. This means that everyone's building out of their household funds and it makes the development of the town convincing within the story. (I'm discovering how things work as I play through the many lots in Changing Seasons.) What do other poeple think about the idea of all the households contributing to building up new community lots? There's quite a few that aren't pre-built: gym, art gallery, library, swimming pool...any other suggestions?
