Some sims wanted to gain admission to Potts Hall, but their scores weren't quite high enough.


Sadly, they ended up here at Malenski Hall instead.


It has everything the sims need for study and fun.


You can still see the resemblance to the old Malan Hall, which was downsized and updated.


Some of the major updates include more comfortable, higher energy beds and hot showers.


The gals will share the newly constructed blue room.


Gray and Joey (who was once a girl, but now believes himself fully a guy) will share the green room.

The other two sims are returning to uni as he (Cal McNabb) wants a second degree and she (Samantha Grey) didn't have enough credits to graduate earlier. The first time around he topped both the Jocks and Rebels cliques and had a fine arts degree. This time around he'll try to top the nerd clique and get a technology degree. (Samantha wants to be an illustrative writer, so she's going for a fine arts degree.)

In fact everyone wanted to learn street art after it was bought to make someone, probably Remi, happy. Remi and Lumi both got to take a guitar class as well. Jah' took an athletic class and Joey took gardening. Maybe I shouldn't have let take whatever they wanted, but why not, right?

They are all now just getting to uni where the dorm closest to the science project is located. It is a modified dorm with only two-stories now, but with everything the three-story dorm had. The cheap showers and beds were replaced with much better ones. I think they'll like it there. There is one double bed and five single beds available all with at least a 9 for energy and ++ comfort.

Maybe I'll share some pictures tomorrow.

It was generous of you to let everyone take some classes to get ready for their Uni entrance exam and charisma is handy for everyone to have. I hope Gray and Jayme both learned something from it. She hasn't done well getting alone with the natives of SimEarth since her family moved here and large crowds have made Gray nervous ever since the night his parents died.

Joey as a stylist makes an odd bit of sense to me, if he believes he can help others find their true selves that way?

Wow! I've never quoted from one thread into another one before. Awesome, now I'll have to try that sometime.

No, sadly Lumi had to quit the cooking job to take up the angler profession. They can't be self-employed and employed elsewhere at the same time. I thought stylist was a great job for Joey too: It's tinkering on a whole different level.

So you shorten Jah'ayme to Jayme? I'll do that. I've just been shortening it to Jah'. She's actually friends with my sim who wanted to return for a second degree. He had a wish to make friends with an alien. So that was the first friendship made.

I need to link back to uni contest and do a meet all the co-eds.

Well, her full name is Jah'ayme, but she's used to it being awkward for native Simlish speakers and generally goes by Jayme (pronounced the same as Jaime) to make it easier on everyone. Jah' is fine, too, though.

I've never seen a wish to be friends with an alien. That's so cool! I'm glad she was able to make friends with him despite her social awkwardness, too.

The co-eds settled in to their new dorm. Joey wants to be a tinkerer and is playing chess on the computer. Lumi wants to be a mystic healer, so she's going for a science and medicine degree.


Gray is a loner who wants to be physically perfect, so he's working out by himself in the lobby.


After tagging the walls of the new dorm, Jah' and Remi jogged over to the uni's center.


The others all joined them there eventually except for Gray, who does not like crowds.


Mostly the Meet and Greet went well.


The co-eds meet Jocks, Rebs, and Nerds and joined some of those cliques.


They were even invited to a bon fire at the frat house.


They all returned home by 10 and were in bed before midnight, except Jah' who didn't need to sleep.


Many have 0800 classes to attend. We'll see how they do their first day in classes.

I hope you don't mind me reading and commenting on the thread but I just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying the updates on the others at uni. I really hope they all do really well at uni and make some friends. *hugs*

The first day of classes:

Everyone had a wonderful breakfast of perfect crepes. You gotta love having genies around.


Of course, Gray didn't like the horde of female co-eds showing up while he was still eating.


Joey didn't have class until noon, so he snuck in more logic skill playing chess on the computer.


Lumi didn't have class until noon either, so she planted some fruits and veggies and played with magic.


In-between classes, when not conversing with classmates, they might play some kicky ball.


Everyone is getting lots of exercise jogging around campus.


They all attended another bonfire, except Gray, of course, who stayed home alone.


Jah' was there, but she never made it inside.

Yay! I wondered.

I am working on getting farther ahead. I didn't expect Cal to go so quickly and I didn't want to get ahead. Now I am way behind. They've only had their first day of class. But, I've been playing them all instead of free willing them.

Remi learns multi-tasking: fun, rebel influence, working out!


Gray learns social networking.


Jah' learns some sims are just cruel to try to be cool (but are just loud and obnoxious).


The second day at uni is lectures and class activities. It's a day to chat up your professor or improve your skills.


Remi improves her handiness the easy way and scores points for working with technology too.


Joey chats with a fellow student. It's more stress relieving and fun.


Lumi races into class late to discover just one other student sleeping through the lecture.


The second day at uni is off to a great start!

@LadyEmillye - It's okay as it all counted as class time as far as I could tell since she was going to class already when class started. And Joey's doing fine so far. They all are.

There were always more parties.


Yet, they always made it to bed in time to get the well rested buff.


Jah' always recharged her brain before sleeping long enough to get the well-rested moodlet too.


Gray worried me a little bit. Was he falling for this skeleton or just having a heart-to-heart chat?


Love having genies around to make meals! I can't stress that enough!


Yep, more concern about Gray and love...

Comic Books and Video Games are popular discussion topics.


Then there's hanging around the science area working on extra credit.


Of course, there are also bonfire and keg parties.


Some last minute skill building that is also fun takes place.


The last of the labs and lectures before the first exams occurs.


Remi finishes her extra credit assignment and lets off some stress with a fellow student.


Gray gets some veg time in front of the t.v.


Jah' doesn't need science for her tech degree; but, like others, she's intrigued by it.


Lumi grabs a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich. Mmmm!


Joey and Remi become friends.

The guys play video games.


We've added a swimming pool to the dorm.


A new day awaits the gals...

Lumi takes advantage of free day to work on science projects.


Then, they host their first party.


Gray, of course, stays out of the way.


So, while everyone else is jamming and dancing...


Gray improves his logic skill.


I guess the party was a success.

LOVE the update, Ciane!

I think this is the last installment of this alternate uni play. My sim had enough credits to graduate; but somehow, I'd messed up when I sent them and there was no graduation at the end of the second week (which should have been the end of the term). So, I had them drop out (though I do have a copy of an earlier save that I may return to someday - just not now as life got crazy busy somehow in the way that life can.

That said, here's some more pics of the play:

I got a Bromhilda to handle all those leaves falling.


With all the jogging to classes, most of them wanted to increase their athletic skill and train others.


Gray has maxed his athletic skill already and is working on his martial arts skill.


Lumi, who is going for a science and medicine degree, likes to analyze things.


She, however, is not the only one who likes to play with science and discover potions.


Speaking of potions, Lumi is working on some potions too.


Gray's creativity is mostly in the kitchen.


It's not all about classes and grades, though everyone has nailed all the tests so far.


The stress of classes has been balanced well with lots of social and fun activites too.
