I had the same problem, so I went to visit someone and came home. Then I was able to sale all but one painting. I hung it on the wall, then clicked on it and chose "Ship on Plopsy" My sim took it off the wall and sold it.
I would like to see them bring back the more old-timey feel of the original game. And I would love to be able to specify the time period that my neighbors would dress it. Seems pointless to dress up a Victorian family, when their neighbors show up in sweat pants,
I load up Sims 1 occasionally, and jut plain vanilla without the user-made add-ons. I played all 5 games, that includes TSO, which was basically just everyone chatting while their sims read books. Don Hopkins and I were testing his Maze runner program that allowed us to create oodles of money quickly and build a mansion.…
I don't use Money Cheats unless I am trying to build a house to upload or something. I like having people on the lot to test it out, especially when being extra creative.
Yeah, that's the bad part about it. They do it to weed out SPAMmers, but when you want to get help, it is difficult. I suggest participating in the games area for a day. That should bring that post number up quickly.
This youtube video has links and install instructions for windows 10. https://youtube.com/watch?v=5FZmBmpVW8Q for people who have purchased the complete collection CDs.
I would love an architectural update pack.,* Windows and Doors Swatches that match across the board. More consistency in colors. And That awful green that came with Cats and Dogs can go. * Columns that are actually interesting, such as half-brick/stone columns with wood posts on top. Thicker ones, not just skinny. * Fix…
I was already creating wallpapers and floors before the game was released. I had created content for SimCity 2k and when I saw the ads for The Sims, I bought it day 1. Opened up SimFreaks on Mar 17, 2000 to share walls and floors. I was hooked before it even came out LOL Almost everyone played Bob and Betty Newbie first,…
Found it but it's too big for me to upload. You might search for Sims 1 Complete Collection and see if you find it. I will try to see if I can put it somewhere tomorrow.
Actually I found one somewhere, because I couldn't get my disks to install. I may still have the install file. You do have to run it as administrator in compatibility mode though and play around with settings to get it to run in a window as the aspect ratio gets messed up full screen.
For Sims 1, that is tough. I honestly loved Vacation the best, my sims stopped coming home. :D but think Livin' Large had the best collection of furnishings. Hot date however added some humor elements ie Mrs. Crumplebottom and I like the ability to get off the lot and socialize. However, I hated when I went to dine and…
I would love it, but I don't know if it would be worth the time. Just would be happy for a good, easy install with a boxed window so it doesn't mess up the aspect ration, or show crap behind it on my desktop.
there was a teenager mod too, but as I recall it stretched the child mesh to fit the adult skeleton to use their animations, but it didn't look very good.
I suppose I should introduce myself as well. I'm Heather and I've been around the Sims since the beginning. My website SimFreaks was well known, but after running it for 10 years, I took a break after Sims 3 came out and disappointed me. I'm usually lurking around and after years of managing a busy forum, I've enjoyed just…
I think if anyone spent any amount of time building 3D, programming, doing animations or making 2D art even, would understand the time and effort that goes into each of these products. I would said I am not "extremely" happy with the game, then again I am often the devil's advocate. However, it is very well done.
The Sims 4 team works themselves to death, which is one of the reasons they have lost some valuable team members (and an overrated one) over the last few years. Overworked and underpaid for the amount of time they spend their IMHO. Most are very passionate about their work and I think their work often goes unappreciated.…
Hmmm not sure I have any, though I am not fond of heights and I hate sitting in the front passenger seat when other people drive. People are scary. What is your strangest dream?
I haven't played Sims 3 in quite a while. I think the professions were a little more exciting, as there aren't' really a lot of "Fun" things happening in GTW professions. It's more like Grinding in an MMORPG. These are click and wait professions... I miss the level of humor that was more prevalent in Ambitions, the…
Post requirements are stupid IMHO, I've been in The Sims community since the very beginning.... but I understand some people can't contain themselves and the need to prevent SPAM, so I guess I'll live with it.
