I get that. I was super close to doing that but there were a couple pieces that are central to a few of my sims. I cut down it down to 7Gigs of cc and the game runs sooooo much better. That and choosing outfits and hair is so much more organized and easy to sort through.
It really depends on the style. If i can find it in alpha (with a good color) then I will go with that. But a fair amount of the hair ztyles I like havent been done in alpha (or dont meet my standards). Also, until recently Ive had to get all of my "ethnic" hair from alpha sources. They added some decent ones in recent…
Ok, @Linnsane , the tray importer is being a punk and only seeing a REALLY old instance of that family. Had to do it the long way. On the sister: Lauruna Skin and the brother only this eye mod.
Last sim I made was an edit of Katrina Caliente. She was a mother to two of my current sims but had died of old age before I thought to get screen shots. So I made a new game and started working on updating her. Still not done but this is her so far.
Forever honestly. lol I start just by hitting random until i got something close and then changing one or two things. Now, Im in CAS more than I am the actual game. The story I fell into progressed faster than I thought to document. So now I have two saves. One with the current family members on pause. And the other where…
@Beardedgeek I had to go look up the SM townies. It wasnt Lily. Seems like I may have cleared the place and the game/MCCC moved a single mom in. So not a regular townie then.
What I do is merge similar cc made by the same creator. Best example possible. Madlen and his shoes. I think last time I merged his shoes it was 120 something files. I also move the files that were merged to a different drive in a folder so if something goes wonky I can go look at the ones that are merged.
Its the real world money option but I absolutely cannot live without two monitors anymore. It really does change how productive you can be. Aside from that, like what others have said windowed mode is going to be your best bet.
Usually just one for each of them unless Im doing some madness where my drug dealer impregnates multiple townies multiple times. Good thing child support isnt a thing.
sorry for three posts in a row but wow the forum sensors a previous sims characters name. lol Should be Flamenco Caliente's wife in a previous sims game since it wont let me type it
(yesterday technically but still...) I got sucked down the CAS hole. I wanted to get screen shots of the deceased mothers so I made a new game and started editing the landgraabs and calientes. Ended up working mostly on Katrina. Added Flamenco and Nighat in, as well as D/Nina's father. Then I replaced the defaults with DNA…
- Malcolm landgraab, a total 🐸🐸🐸🐸 to his younger sister and brother. - Alice Spencer-Kim. Apparently her and Eric have an open relationship and she loves other taken men. Half my female sims hate her. - I cant remember the name of the neighbor the game put in the San Myshuno Landgraab apartments but christ that lady is…
Absolutely Windowed. That started in my WoW days when I would need to look up a quest or item while playing. Now Im usually doing something else while monkeying around in CAS.
It really depends on the lot. If its a premade and a new family moves in, then i keep the traits. If I bulldoze a lot and start fresh, I change them for what Im going for.
