I don't know about that. I had stuff in my family inventory before I moved as well and when I changed houses, I sold the furniture so that I could move another family there from my gallery and start anew with my legacy. As long as something is not on the lot, it shouldn't charge the bill since it's not used. I don't have…
Funny story: today my sim's living room caught fire from the fireplace. I only have one fire alarm in the kitchen that is far from the fireplace, so... it didn't ring. The sprinklers went on anyway and put the fire out. Conclusion? Fire alarms are useless.
I've had a ton of deaths today in my game for some reason. Three of my sim's co-workers died from old age at work ALL AT THE SAME TIME! The matriarch of the legacy died too and I really liked her. She was an expert in flower arranging, gardening and handiness. On the bright side, the baby grew into a toddler and my adults…
Well, I did that and didn't work. She preferred screaming in the fire. I put the supression item in the house, so I guess it's all good... assuming it works, that is.
Today I moved some sims into a new house and I set one of the lot traits to Cat-friendly... or something. And there was Winterfest, I had some guests, my sims prepared a grand meal and some cats self-invited into the house as well and helped themselves to the meal! Then Santa came and one of the cats attacked him. My lady…
Haven't been on in quite a while, but got to play a bit this week in a few sessions. I have a few pics! Just wanna post this, cuz I love it. It's Craig and Jarvis huggling on the sofa. Amara had a 3rd child: a baby boy and his name is Harold. Jarvis grew into a teenager. :) Calli became a toddler... ...then, a child.…
I haven't played in a while(several days, actually) because I've been busy working on my custom neighborhood and re-creating sims, but I still got a bunch of updates! :3 Amara X Ashley household: Jarvis grew up into a child. I got Jarvis into a private school now. Didn't think I'd manage, because Ashley was in his pajamas…
That link was helpful. However I stiiiill have a question: If I save some of the occupied houses in my custom neighborhood that I originally placed from Pleasantview using the copy/paste method, will I still risk the new neighborhood to be a ticking time bomb since I first moved them out using the wrong method? Will they…
Vacant lots are safe despite them having been inhabited, but you'll lose all the furniture so you'll have to refurnish them, sadly. When you move the sims out you're removing all the saved data, including the objects.
This was probably mentioned before, but you can ask a Genie to resurrect a dead sim and said sim will join the household of the sim that made the wish. Also when a toddler plays with a broken robot toy and it acts up, the toddler will be displeased and start crying.
I don't remember what neighborhood corruption manifests as, but despite moving those sims out and in another neighborhood, my game is doing fine. No bugs yet whatsoever. The only thing that happened is one of my sims disappearing from the control panel, but that got fixed when I exited and re-entered the household. I've…
@Rflong7 @JULES1111 Thanks. XD I really missed the way genetics in TS2 work. I always get surprises if I load several times before the final mix. Sometimes I get a good mix, but sometimes the babies can turn out to be a genetics disaster. Anyways, Kenny grew up into a child. He looks just like Heather, but as a boy with…
I played a bit more today with Jacquelyn and Lyle's families. Jacquelyn had a baby girl named Sylvia. She turned out much better than I expected. (I think) And this is Kenny, Lyle's son. He's a real cutie. :) Also, Lyle gave birth to an alien baby girl and her name is Rin.
In the meantime, Lyle, Jacquelyn and Amara are all out of college and married to their partners. The first 2 got their own houses, while Amara is back to her parents' house, which got a nice makeover :) Amara is a web designer. Ashley has started a business: a consignment shop. It started out with plants, then other decor…
I got a question: I created a neighborhood and then I created a bunch of sims for said neighborhood, but in Pleasantview. I couldn't find said sims in the bin of the neighborhood I wanted so I put them on lots, then placed the lots with the sims in the gallery. It was the only way to have those sims in the new…
I don't think I've mentioned it, but Lyle has 2 sisters, Jacquelyn and Amara. They are twins and they both go to Sim State University. :) Jacquelyn is dating a campus nerd by the name of Lee Chun and while on a date they got engaged. Neither of them are very good looking, but Jacquelyn is a very confident simmie…
@Scribal_Goddess Hmmm... I did that but it still hasn't "unlocked" the other options that would make the lot view large once an for all. Oh well, I can always stick with the cheat whenever I run the game.
There are different sites where you can get the .iso files for free, but I won't link them here. You'll have to search for them yourself. That's how I got several stuff packs that I was missing.
Aaaa, so that's what happened. lol. Next time I see the Evil Cow on my lot, I'll get Lyle to kick her butt. Every time actually. It should come easy since they're enemies and he has maxed out his body skill.
Nope, couldn't find it. Even with this tool. :/ I guess it's not there. Maybe someone can send me that piece of the code so I can integrate it in the file myself? I don't have the Ultimate Collection. I've merely installed the game from my old CD's not via Origin. I did the cheat code document, but I will confirm if it…
