  • Even if we still didn't have any more playable lots, I would rather not be teased by having to look at deco lots that I can't access or play. I don't have the game, bit I think it would really frustrate me.
  • I play Sims 3 with aging off, and then when I feel it is time for someone to age, I use Twallan's Master Controller to max their days left in that age level, and then have them use the birthday cake to age up. I do the same in Sims 2, except you can age them up any time with the cake.
  • Reloaded Sims 1 a few months ago with WIndows 7. Had to use a compatibility work-around, but it is playing perfectly. I re-fell in love with the game. Makin Magic, Superstar and especially Hot Date. I love Sims 2 and 3 but for taking sims on dates, nothing beats Hot Date. Heck, in Sims 3 when you take your date to the…
  • I just now got the chicken coup and the tractor. I will still be playing with those for a long time yet.
  • I was already old! I was 50 when Sims 1 was released. My niece asked me to buy the game for her, but it wasn't out yet. That was in December. I couldn't get it for her for Christmas, so we waited anxiously until it came out in February. We were at Best Buy on the day it was released, and probably got the first copy that…
  • I still play Sims 1, 2 and 3. I have no plans to abandon either of them. Sims 2 is still my favorite, for the ease of building houses, but I LOVE the open world of Sims 3 and the traveling with World Adventures. Almost every sim I play goes to Egypt at least once in their life. I also still love playing the Hot Date and…
  • It should be called "April Fools: here is all the stuff you hoped would be in the game but wasn't" and it will be a free download. My favorite expansion for Sims 3 is World Adventures. I do the traveling all the time. But since that requires an open explorable world, it wouldn't be possible. I'd be very happy if my sims…
  • I still play all 3 version of the Sims. Mostly Sims 3 right now because the open world is so much fun to play, but Sims 2 is still my favorite. I reinstalled Sims 1 a few months ago and had a blast playing it again. The perfect Sims game would have the build mode ease of Sims 2 and the open world of Sims 3. Can't have it…

  • What does the error say? There are different kinds of errors, so if we know what the error said someone could help.
  • I love Strangetown and even downloaded a custom Sims 3 version of it. I'm excited that there will be more worlds in the Base Game and a desert world is a great choice.
  • mcmuffin that's a good idea. Usable stuff for kids definitely, and maybe skill building stuff for kids.
  • I still play Sims 1, 2 and 3. I don't know if I want Sims 4, but even if I do get it, I intend to keep playing the other sims games. I'm especially enjoying Sims 3 right now, and have no intention of giving that up. I also want to keep getting Store sets whenever I can afford them, which is a little at a time on my budget.…
  • I can live without pools. I never build my own, and only have them if the house already came with it. But ever since Sims 1 when the baby crib turned into a child, I have wished for toddlers. I really enjoy the toddlers in Sims 2 and 3. In fact, I edit the options to have a shorter time for the infant age level, and add…
  • There were a few poor-ish households in Riverview. The Broke family for example, and that old guy who lived in a fishing shack. I enjoyed playing the Broke family because they were so disfuctional and it was a challenge to improve their lives. If there were any way possible, I would love to have at least one poor or…
  • Things didn't change. Things went backwards. And I do not hate EA. I still love the game and those who create it, but because I know what they could be doing, it makes me feel let down. We are being asked to respect them, but they don't respect us. They want us to get excited about things we didn't ask for, and then take…
  • It's not even the heights. It's that they don't look younger in any way. I watched all the videos and did not know that any of the sims were different ages. Why do we need YAs when we don't have a Uni yet? Get rid of the YAs and give us real teens. I get a lot more enjoyment from teens in the game, than YAs.
  • It's easier to say which ones I DO want. Seasons and World Adventures. But if I had to choose 3 to leave out: 1. Supernatural (it was done best with The Sims Makin Magic and will most likely never be that good again). 2. Apartment Life 3. Into the Future
  • No toddlers could be the deal breaker for me, but I'll have to wait and see what the babies are like. I was planning to buy it in pre-order, but not now. Now I'm going to wait to read what other players say about the game after it's been played a while. I think EA shot themselves in the foot this time.
  • I totally agree. YAs are just like adults. We can live without them. But toddlers are such a fun part of Sims 2 and 3. I am truly disappointed.
  • This late in the game, I doubt this will make much difference. If they'd told us back during earlier development, they might have reconsidered, but with only 2 months before release, I'm sure they can't/won't make those kinds of changed now. Sadly. I did sign, but it feels like a futile attempt.
  • I just installed your Red County, and man is it spooky and fun to be looking at something that resembles where I grew up. I grew up in Costa Mesa. It's so weird to see landmarks in the game that are places I know in real life. Fashion Island, Emerald Bay, Laguna Beach, etc. My childhood home was on one of the bluffs…
  • Oh heavens yes! I have to lean in to the screen and squint when going through buy mode. YES! That was one of the first things that I noticed in Sims 3. LOL I'm always sitting there going "Turn around already!"
  • How can I decide if I like the Sims4 sims when all we're seeing is a rendering, and not the actual sims? There is nothing to go on. I really am curious to see how they will look.
  • I came late to Sims 3 because I really did not want to stop playing Sims 2. So now it seems so soon that Sims 4 is coming along. I'm SO not ready. I'll probably do the same thing I did when Sims 3 came out - keep playing my current game and only get Sims 4 when I feel I've done everything I can with Sims 3. Besides, I'm…
  • DITTO! I really was afraid (heard rumors) that Sims 4 would be on online game. I agree with kitandrae. If I want to get involved in social media (I don't) I'd go to Faceblech...I mean Facebook
  • Great suggestions MrDanielT. Different types of cars. All the cars from the store look identical. And I would love it if we could see sims get in their car, pull out of the driveway and drive away again. I really miss that.
  • I totally agree with this. I really love what can be done with the stage foundations in Sims2. I am really hoping that something can be done to make creating roofs much easier...or rather possible. I have a heck of a time making roofs in Sims 3, but have never had any trouble in Sims 2. I don't know what they did to break…
  • THANKS for posting the pics catloverplayer. It looks like so much fun. I live by the beach in real life, so this is right up my alley. I skipped buying Uni so I could afford to get Island Paradise, and I can't wait!
  • I'd like them to bring back some of the things that were in Sims 2 which they deleted or changed. 1) newborns that have arms and legs like in Sims 2. No more bug babies! 2) photo albums and ability to add text so we can create our own stories inside the game. That is one of the things I enjoyed doing most in Sims1 and…
