I just started a new save in Sulani with a new sim. I'm jumping around aspirations as I play and I've noticed a bug with the Angling Ace aspiration. I've had her fish in 4 different spots but the aspiration only recognises one of them so I can't get past the first tier. I'm guessing this is patch related rather than Island…

Isnishi, I love your children's room. The little red truck reminded me of Postman Pat's van, a show my daughter loved when she was little. All that was missing was a little black and white cat!

Thanks Writin_Reg, I'll have a look and see if I can do that. I'm not sure when I last saved before I quit and I haven't gone back into that save yet. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it. I thought once you moved a townie into your active household they were safe from culling. Oh well, at least I've learned something :)

That is one cute kitty. I normally get more attached to the pets than I do to my sims. When my supersim's two cats died of old age I almost actually cried. I would love the family to keep the one he's got but I don't have enough room in the family for two cats.

@RudeBrat my cat is an adult that I adopted too. @AprilDawn, thanks for the info. I think I'll get rid of that cat and make one in cas. I'm not supposed to because it's a legacy challenge, but if it's the only way around a bug, I just won't consider it cheating ;).

Do you think we will get an quickfix patch for this, or are we going to have to wait for up to 3 months for the next patch, seeing as how there's no guarantee there'll be one in December?

I just discovered that there's an entrance ti the forgotten grotto behind the Landgraab's house, as well as at the park.

The new patch notes said it fixed lag in live mode which would cause the sims and clock to freeze. Thanks rosemow for the quick response. I'll try doing that. Keep your fingers crossed for me - the last time I had to restart my computer it took over 24 hours to get it to restart. Kept just getting a black screen. Think I'm going to have to get a new one.

The sims 3 may not have had game packs, but the store produced premium content once a month that was of a very similar concept. One item that had new gameplay with objects added in around it. So I don't really see how you can use game packs as an excuse not to produce more expansion packs.

My sim had the same problem. I think it was the bug that started when they introduced career outfits in CAS. As soon as I created a second work outfit for her, the opportunities started to spawn. Hope this helps :)
