• If they do this, I'm out. For the folks who want MMOs, there's Overwatch and Fortnight and Final Fantasy 14 or whatever - why involve a franchise who's whole POINT is to be customized to the individual players desires? I have no interest in 'meeting people' via games - that's not why I play them. I don't want flipping…
• Please allow us to rename the worlds at least. It's a HUGE oversight that we aren't able to do that. Most simmers will find a way to be okay with not having the freedom to build their own worlds - another massive oversight - but at the very least, it would be nice if we could rename the ones we have. I don't want Willow…
• I just turn off aging for non-active households. I love to play slowly, and I found that it stops me missing half of the toddler stage at one house while I'm playing a toddler at another house. I also tend to stop the game creating new townies (or at least severely reduce it) so that I can concentrate on the families I'm…
• Why do so many people see inclusivity as an agenda? Doesn't everyone have the right to see themselves represented in the media they consume? Why does this bother you guys so much? Like, to me that's not what makes the game's developers 'out of touch'.
• Sorry to co-opt this, but it seemed silly to make a whole additional thread for the same mod. My questions are these: My teacher sims don't earn any money from teaching. Is this because they haven't yet unlocked the special teaching levels in the career? Some of them have families and I was hoping they'd be paid. It's…
• Oooh I have a TON of stuff, and counting. I love cc -and coming from TS2, I love mods as well - they extend gameplay so beautifully. It's only a handful that I have to swap out when new things update, the rest are surprisingly resilient. I stay away from things like careers since they tend to break, but I love having more…
• I use both - I've never had any issues with either. I'm probably in the unpopular opinions bucket on this here, but I love the realism! It's actually my favourite part of TS4! I love that sometimes my adult sims will get acne, and that female sims get cramps and such - it just somehow makes my sims feel more fleshed out.…
• Underrated features I love: The half-open world - coming from TS2, (I skipped 3 altogether because no.) this is awesome. It is actually half-open, and sims can explore quite a large surrounding area off the lot. They can walk out and go fishing somewhere across the road, or meet other sims in the park - it's just really…
• I don't really see the point of starting a couple off as engaged or boyfriend and girlfriend - what if I decided after moving them in that I didn't want them in a relationship like that? It'd be annoying to have to break them up first. It's open ended I think so that players have complete control over what relationships…
• It probably depends on how the sim is feeling at the time - if they're in a flirty mood they might not mind the cheating so much, or it could be the depth of the relationship with the other sim. If they're not that close (even though they're married/dating) they might not mind as much.
• > @SweetieKaye said: > Sequels are supposed to be better in all aspects. If films are anything to go by this is complete bunk. Heck, most series of games (Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy etc.) don't have great sequels every time, so yeah. Can't agree with that at all. Sorry, but sequels are almost never better, so in TS4's…
• I actually feel like it's so much MORE orientated around family play - not just because of the 'emotional' stuff, but because I don't find it any harder to play a family here then I did in TS2. I don't try to achieve every single goal there is, and I don't worry about how much advancement they make, when I want them to get…
• @Bear31 Good grief I would die of cuteness overload! YES so MUCH to that!!
• I don't play with cheats in TS4, but I've use the odd build mode cheats in TS2 to get furniture and deco where I want it (I don't need to in TS4 - quarter turn placement with the > keys, and adjustable heights in the basegame and people say there's nothing new in it... lol) I've used money cheats before, but only when it…

You can help them learn faster though playing with them. Toddlers do need to return....and when they do I hope they will be more realistic.
>
> In the past if…
• Yes- I think a few other people mentioned it already, but just in case you're still wondering Cinebar, sims definitely do still respond to their environments. In a family house, I've had sims refuse to use a loo because the floor was dirty (especially neat sims). I had one sim kick the trash bin down in front of another,…
• I want the potty training, and learning to walk and talk (because honestly that's what toddlers do - I feel like if it was instant I'd feel that it was totally unrealistic, and with the new emotion engine can you imagine how cute that'd be to see parents getting 'tense' mood lets or 'happy' ones from seeing their toddlers…
• @katnap - I definitely agree! OFB literally made my game in TS2 - it's one of the best EPs in terms of sheer additional game play! I really like the idea of celebrities as well - I think that'd be a great system to create, especially as sims can hire Entertainers and suchlike. I think there'll definitely be new careers…
• It's not hard to find it for less than the Origin price - a few of us in the UK were able to get the Limited Edition from CDKeys for £25, so for what I paid for it, I think it's definitely worth it.

(maybe even assignable chores... that would be fun  ) I> @Ashcarr said: > Copy and pasted from another thread I posted this in. > > I want to see more…
• > @Cynel1 said: > So what about Pre-teens. Good point - pre teens would be pretty cute, and it would make more sense (especially as the introduction of a new life stage would really be cool!) what sort of special interactions do you think they'd have? I guess it'd have to be something quite different to what kids have so…
• > @CristalBlueRoses said: > I think we'll get another University type... I can see sims being stressed about classes or a big test coming up (especially if they haven't studied).. or being confident if they have been studying and know they will get a good grade.. They could be sad if they fail, and maybe have a new emotion…
• I think... if you have Limited Edition (like me) you can buy the premium content for £11.99 (at least on the UK Origin). I see that as well, and when I click the 'i' that's what it tells me... I'm actually considering it too, but I think I'll wait for the first EP and then see if I can still buy it ;)
• Why do we even need to have a sims 5? I'm pretty happy having TS2 and TS4 to play with - as far as I'm concerned, that's enough. TS5 would just be overdoing it. Like those Final Destination movies. Urgh.
• > @SummersBuff said: > Sims 3 is fantastic and I've loved it from the beginning. The glitches were annoying, but I was too excited to care. There was so much to do. The world was now open and I could customize anything and everything. I didn't get that 'it's only the base game' feeling. That doesn't mean the game was…
• This is SO cool! You can bake your own birthday cakes!? :D *Runs full tilt to the computer*
• I got my Limited Edition version from CDkeys for £25 (then cracked after waiting until the 3rd and went in via VPN - which only worked once LOL) I wish I'd bought a physical copy as well though, I'm paranoid that something might happen to my digital download, so I think once the game goes on sale, I'll buy a basic version…
• *Raises hand* Me too! But then again, when I played TS3 for the first time, I hadn't played the sims since I was like 11, and I'd never played TS2. I didn't even know there *was* a Sims community, so when I played for two days and then sold the game on ebay it was about as honest as it gets. *Shudder* I then bought TS2…
• I'm sorry you aren't enjoying it! I think there's always some difficulty in the way that the franchise is set up- I mean, we get so used to having our sims able to do everything (with all the mods and EPs) that it's hard when a new base game comes out and you have to adjust to a new playing style and there isn't any way to…
