Agreed. And I feel like we have soooo much of that style and aesthetic already. I feel like that's most of what we get these days. And I'm so, so sick of it. I liked Granny Chic because it had a sort of homey, country-ish vibe. I really wanted a country living style and aesthetic to decorate my homes with, not the modern,…
I haven't had anyone flunk out of University yet, but I did have one flunk a class. It was an elective that should have been very easy for him to pass, too, since he already had high skill in that category. Unfortunately, he was taking three classes and on the soccer team, so he never seemed to have enough time for all his…
Last time I had that problem, it was due to a piece of CC. Once I found the offending piece and took it out, the game loaded with no problem. Are you currently using any CC or mods that could be causing the problem?
Only grilled cheese and eggs and toast. I've been hoping more recipes would become available as my Sim levels up cooking skill, but so far nothing. Also, did I mention this Sim is a vegetarian? :D So even when I use the grill, her options are still quite limited! Aargh! Learn from my mistakes, guys!
I've been able to store food in the fridge while off grid without a problem. I just wish there were more than a couple of recipes available for cooking, between the fridge and the "cook with gas" option on the stove. I can understand taking away many of the more complicated recipes, but shouldn't stuff like soup and chili…
Hey, whatever floats your Sims' boat. Deshaundra had a bio child, Lakeisha, and pretty much raised her as a single parent before she came out to herself and everyone else. Then when Deshaundra got together with a townie named Kari, they adopted a girl named Makenna, and then eventually tied the knot when Makenna got a bit…
Honestly, I think the lack of significant interactions between packs is holding the Sims 4 back to a large degree. Letting the packs interact makes the game richer and gives the player more to do. As someone who has played since TS1, it boggles my mind that this is now seen as a negative thing. I was never bothered about…
Well, after creating Frightmare Day, and Simstivus, I created Simtober Fest and had my Sim celebrate that first. I picked the traits Drinking, Arts & Music Spirit, Invite Guests, Party Spirit, and BBQ/Grilling. I was tempted to pick Grand Meal, but I figured grilling made more sense, as my Sim could make hot dogs and…
Well, Mimsy definitely is. One of my Sims got invited to the Von Haunt Estate by her brother the other day, and both of them got pretty spooked while trying to hang out. I guess if they didn't believe the ghost rumors before, they do now! :D
This! When I hear off-the-grid, this is what I picture in terms of a Sims version. To me, it's more about being self-sufficient than it is about being isolated or eschewing all tech. So in terms of gameplay, what I imagine is maybe one family still uses electricity, etc., but they use alternative sources to power it and/or…
I'm definitely going to create Festivus for my Sims, as well as some sort of Llama-themed holiday! :D Still thinking of names for the Llama one, though...
Hmm... can you register the breed at all? I think in Sims 2 you could register breeds as a way to save coat markings and genetics. That's a real shame if there's not a way to do that in Sims 4. I don't have the game yet, so this is about all the insight I can offer.
I am so on board with this! Heck, I just want finding a romantic partner to be easier in general. I miss the attraction system in Sims 2, where that made things a bit easier to narrow the field of potential mates. But even if you create a specific Sim with the intent of putting them together with one of your other…
Jeez. I must be Simming wrong or something, because I've never had all this drama you guys talk about with Partihaus. And it's not for lack of trying to start a flirtation or two with a couple of the members, either. Maybe mine were abducted and had their personalities changed? Lol. I have no idea.

They also want to come over when one of your Sims is making music. Also, beware of your neighbors (Jang) when moving into 122 Hakim House (in the Arts Quarter) If you introduce yourself to them (as their neighbors), there is a big chance that the daughter or…
@cleo00 I can take or leave the Goths. (Mostly leave, as I'd rather evict them and have my own rich family live there.) I've never had the huge obsession with them that others have had. I mean, I know they're a tradition for the developers ever since Sims 1. But I didn't even play them or care for them all that much in…
Last night while I was playing my game, I had the landlord come over tonrix something in the apartment, and afterward she walked into my sleeping child Sim's room and stole the brand new, never-been-used-yet journal that I had just bought her ! Just picked it up and pocketed it and never gave it back! What, you collect all…
I really don't mind anymore if they stop building EPs for TS4 as long as some GPs have new worlds that aren't strictly vacation worlds. The GPs for TS4 have been imo the best part of this game as a whole. What they could do if they wanted or needed to do is release new worlds and just sell GPs.…
You know, after years of playing Sims 2, I don't think I ever realized there were two Skips. I was always too busy trying to keep ahead of the Broke's bills to think too much about his death. And the message boards at the time were always filled with questions and theories about Bella, not Skip, so nothing ever…
The Sims 1, Making Magic. That EP truly was...well, magical. The magic system they threw together im Sims 2 didn't even come close to the sheer variety, complexity, or whimsy of that EP. Adults and kids had separate spellbooks with different spells. You got I'm trouble for casting your spells in front of non-Magical Sims.…
Yeah, as much as I like Tumblr for other things, downloads is not one of them. Besides Mod the Sims, which is my go-to for downloads, lately I've been enjoying Liana Sims for clothing, and Parsimonious (which has several download categories).
I had a visitor come into the house the other day, pick out a book, and plop himself down on the end of my sleeping toddler's bed to read. That wasn't creepy at all, LOL!
