OP, if you have other clubs where the Sims don’t do the activities, you could try choosing the Do____Together actions to see if that helps. For the longest time, I also never experienced this bug. Then recently, it started happening and I have no idea why. Several months ago, I had started a save with a Sim who gardens and it was fine until recently (the last month or so) her farm just started glitching out.

I’ve not had the leader get mad at a gathering ending in a short amount of time. I’ve also had gatherings last for a long time because I wanted my Sim to get more out of it, and again no one got upset.

It wouldn’t break the game if the devs just design it to not break the game? Anyways, some sort of mass household deletion, and mass building deletion would help for when players want to rebuild the world themselves. As an option, I don’t see why that would be a bad thing to include.
