Yep! My fiance and I both have this problem (Two different computers with different copies of the game installed). When we load our games our 1,2,3 keys do not work and we have to press "P" to get them working again. Really freaked us out the first couple times it happened! :D

I had this same problem.. I hired my maid and they came the first time, then never showed up again. I eventually canceled the service and I just let my sims take care of their own cleaning now. Not that I mind having my sims clean.. I just like having the maid around to help out and be a potential friend/lover/enemy.

Sims 4 doesn't seem to have a "Start New Household" option (The Sims' version of "new game") like the Sims 3 did. It does have a "Save As" option. I still have this same exact problem. My launcher tells me that I have the pet shop installed but it is NOT in the community lot list under edit town. It isn't in any of the lists actually. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times.
