I do this for my sims, especially with twins. Bake cake, put candles on it, first sim blows out candles. Nobody grabs a bite autonomously, light candles again, next sim blows out candles (or same sim, depending). Cake goes into trash bin or recycler.

I think so :D I'm under the impression that MOST simmers look forward to them. I'm not that excited myself. I'll try them at least once, of course, before I have much opinion on them. I do actually HOPE they are worth playing with.

I suppose they're there to create the weirdness of the city, along with the sims you occasionally see running around covered in only a towel. Exciting nightlife in San Myshuno :D

They are special NPC that came with City Living. They're called "weirdos" (fitting name, to be sure) and are as far as I know, immortal.

Grim who? :D I've only seen Grim once since I started playing TS4 in 2017. I play with aging off and will do anything to keep my little pixels alive. When NS was added, I had a few premade (unplayed and off screen) deaths, but managed to bring them back and add them to their families again.

I feel like the only simmer who didn't care about the old newspaper. In 1+2 it went straight to the bin, or collected in the attic until the boy/girl couldn't deliver anymore. I hardly ever see her, unless I'm playing a Henley sim. My sims never go out on dates (long courtship is boring, I just move sims in with eachother, quicker that way), and most of the romancin' goes on in the comfort of our homes.

1. Toilet 2. Shower 3. Breakfast 4. If they have work/school, out the door they go 5. If they have the day off: skillbuilding, garden, painting etc. to earn some extra cash. Otherwise, work on whatever aspiration they have.

I use mods for names. That is, one mod for less CL/IL names. Since the game generate NPC's with those types of names 80% of the time. I'm sure there are several mods out there, but I use one from MTS (Simmytime LessCLILNames)

I think you need to enable testingcheats for shift-clicking to work.

I literally can NOT tell you how much I agree with this :) I don't even need open worlds like TS3, as long as there is an edit mode of some sort, that I can change/remove/whatever in all 'hoods. I don't want empty decorational houses, unless I can just remove them and place a proper lot there.

I do, but I doubt they will add it. Seeing as their main demographic for TS4 is young girls/teens, it wouldn't be "appropriate". I don't see that change with TS5.
