I like TS3 but really only after I installed mods. The Sims themselves are so lifeless compared to TS2 which I play more than TS3. I think TS4 looks like it has more personality and charm from what we've seen, still to see if it can surpass TS2 but I'm looking forward to trying it out.
I was bothered at first, but not so much now. I just think about how long to took to get places in the sims 3 on triple speed and then waiting for the lot to render in real time. And then I think of the mess of problems that came with the open world over multiple generations. Pretty much agree with Stormkeep.
Maybe there should be an "Ask age" social interaction which would help you tell apart the age groups and tell you what lifestage they're at and how long they have until they age up. I always wanted that for the sims 3 for those times when you're romancing another sim and you get married and when you move them in to the…
I have a gaming laptop. I also have a gaming desktop (although it's getting on a bit now). I use my laptop for more than gaming, I carry it back and forth from college and use it for getting work done. If I can play some games on the side while I'm out and about then that's awesome. I'll most likely be using my laptop for…
If EA can put gay characters in Mass Effect and Dragon Age games I'm sure they can stick at least one premade gay couple into a sims game. The Sims already has a huge LGBT community already so I fail to see what the big deal is. EA don't seem to give two flying craps about getting hate anyway. Even if there aren't any…
2001/2002. I can't remember specifically. I remember going down to GAME with my mum as a kid and getting The Sims 1 base game and a couple of expansions after playing it at a friend's house. I've been addicted ever since :P
I love the gardening skill. It would be cool if greenhouses returned. I remember there were sprinklers in The Sims 2, I can't remember if they were in The Sims 3 or not. Would love to see those too.
I could overlook the absence of toddlers but im pretty 🐸🐸🐸🐸 there are no family trees. I like keeping track of my legacies, guess I'll just have to manually draw one up as I play. Can't be too hard to add in a patch.
I'll probably still play it. I still play The Sims 2 now and again, especially since EA gave us the Ultimate Collection. Each game has it's pros and cons and I honestly enjoy playing them all for different reasons.
I feel pretty ridiculous getting all worked up over a bloody demo. I still don't have it and I have signed up and own every sims game available on origin. Can't be doing anything wrong. Meh, not really all that long to wait for the full game anyway.
I HATE that bloody bloom effect. I always turn bloom off in the settings for any game that has it. I just hope we will be able to turn it off. Other than that I think the game looks quite nice.
I would love to see some sort of Vacation themed expansion incorporating weather and seasons as well as the features from island paradise all rolled into one. With lots of new content of course. But that won't happen.
I am most definitely watching the live mode gameplay. It's make or break for me. It's the main reason I play the sims and I need to know what it plays like before I buy it.
Personally, I would remove Toddler. Sorry. I just find them annoying and boring to play as. I have them set to the lowest possible ageing setting in the sims 3.
They should go indie or something. Sure, that would cut the budget considerably but that means the have complete creative freedom to do whatever they want. One can dream.
Uh, no they didn't. I still have every single Sims 2 game in my origin library. You may not be able to buy them any more but if you already purchased them, you can still continue to download them.
