Sorry for failing to reply. I admit this is the first time I've logged in since, well... forever! Thanks for the kudos. Hopefully, things slow down soon. But I am INSANELY BUSY with work and a three year old and I'm having a real house built. I will return asap. :)
Grrr! I just downloaded and opened this lot and the blue plate wallpaper is replaced in-game. I don't know why that is, as it's one of my own patterns in My Studio. Hopefully, any of you who miss it will simply download it from My Studio. Sorry! I can't explain why such a thing would happen.
Follyfoot, thanks for the Rec and thumbs up! (You should share the Sheltie in your avatar pic! So cute! I'm a proud Shetland Sheepdog "parent" in real life, and she looks just like your image.) yanti: Praise from a master?! I'm honored! Thanks so much for the favorite-ing.
Thanks for the tip! Dark Harbour looks very promising! I love the idea of filling the town up... There's already a ton of houses in my Studio. The community lots can always be downloaded... I just hate how unfinished the empty high rises and community buildings are in-game. You know, unlandscaped w/ no pavement etc.
Absolutely GORGEOUS, as always! I love how the pics you've posted are populated with Sims living in and using your homes. It seems obvious and simple, that doing so would make the images come to life, but I sure never took such screenshots for my own postings! Your decor and designs are always so... soothing! Serenity now!…
Thanks for the tip Jessa! I cannot believe I missed them! I have been awaiting spiral stairs as long as I have been awaiting bunk beds... Now I have access to BOTH??!! Yippee!!
Doggone it! I just realized one of the curtains in the sitting room had been deleted somehow... It's right there to be seen in the screenshot but I missed it. Sorry! It's easily "cloned" and put in place, but I apologize!
Awesome starter! I love the challenge of making them cute and affordable too! Great job. I like the spiral stairs being in front like that with the big window. (Where did you get the spiral stairs??!!)
This is my first submission. It was featured on the Exchange once, so I hope that doesn't disqualify it? However, it IS my best creation -- the one I am most proud of. Quoin Collection: A plethora of cream quoins, or cornerstones, adorn this classic brick farmhouse. Five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a breakfast…
Thanks so much, everybody! I did take a little artistic license with the front gable embellishments. It just needed something up there -- plain shingles looked bland! I too, love, LOVE, LOVE the movie. I have even learned the theme music on the piano. I am so moved by Carl and Ellie's infertility, as my husband and I are…
Thanks to you, too, Yanti! I checked out your Studio and did some Rec'ing etc, too! I envy your landscaping techniques. I have about as much patience with Sim plants as real ones... :)
