It's been awhile since I built a starter, and while playing recently I bemoaned the lack of cute historically-inspired starter homes for my Sims! This little English-inspired cottage is larger than most starters, as you will see. Three bedrooms and one bathroom and so much more! It's under 20k - couples will have enough for a few basic furnishings to get them started. I am thinking about fleshing out this cottage and posting pictures or uploading it as a finished, fully decorated home. So stay tuned.

East Side:
1st Floor: The front two rooms are the entrance hall and sitting room. In back is a formal dining area and kitchen by the back porch. I have left a space for the fireplace -- so that the chimney will match the exterior. Once your Sims' paychecks permit they can close off the rooms and add arches or doorways.
2nd Floor: The upstairs has been left unpainted as I decided to sacrifice wall decor for more square footage!

I love your starter home, Crumpet Cottage. It's not easy to make a starter which has enough room to transition into a family home, but you've done it. I can easily see a family starting out here, and staying here as they make the place their own. Rec'd!
MMmmmm hot buttered crumpets..
Sorry I digressed, I love this build and many others that I had not seen in your studio. Had a little download and reccing spree.
Happy New Year!

This is a very nice starter. Well done and a great floorplan. I enjoy building starters as well as they present a challenge to get a good look, have them furnished and still be affordable for a single or couple.
Two Thumbs Up!
