Hi there! I wanted to share my latest, the The Old House (Dark Shadows 1966). I was and am a big fan of the show, so I've added lots of insider details that fans will recognise immediately - but you don't have to be a fan to play in this house. lol
This is the first residence of the legendary Collins family of Collinsport.
As a special bonus, I've included Josette du Pres and Angelique Bouchard so you'll have the complete Dark Shadows set.
More patterns All of them are seamless with one color channel. The wall shows original coloring and the chair shows a possible recolor.

Background story: Every night the children of stars (also known as star fairies) go dancing, but only when it is a full moon they come down to earth to dance in the moonlight. They dance on the surface of the lake. Silver circles appear where their feet touch the water. They dance until the morning. Then it is time again to go home, to the stars. One night when the moon was full, the children of the stars came dancing in Moonlight Falls. It was the first time Sidra Lamia was dancing on a real lake. Of courseshe danced before, but that was back home among the stars. Sidra was amazed by the beauty of the lake. She was wondering what was behind all those trees. She wasdancing closer and closer to the edge of the lake. Trying to get a better look at the surrounding. It was then that she fell! She didn´t look where she was dancing and tripped. The water was very cold. Sidra was unsure what was happening, but was able to get out of the water unharmed. But now here wings were all wet! You can´t fly when your wings are wet. How was she supposed to get home again? The sun was already rising. Sidra watched her sister go back home to the stars... Sidra was left behind. Poor Sidra! She has already been a clumsy fairy. She is hopeless romantic and always wanted to know what lay on the other side of the stars. Sidra was sad that she was left behind, but then she realised she could explore this new world! Maybe one day when the moon was full again her sisters would come for her to take her home to the stars, but until then Sidra would have the chance to get to know Moonlight Falls and its residents. I re-created my Little Pumpkin House (which is in my studio) only I left it a one story and turned it into a starter. At least I think it will be a starter. I have a terrible time making them! :P
I called this house Mid Priced Craftsman. It has two bedrooms, one full bath, a LR, DR, and laundry on the main floor. It also has a partially furnished basement and an unfurnished attic. The outside has a mature garden and a swing set for the kiddies.

He talks about it all the time. That can be really annoying. Even though Roy can be very inappropriate, he still is popular with the girls. They say he is such a great kisser! Roy is a daredevil. He often pulls stunts that drives his parents to dispair. His hobby is brewing potions and stunt riding on a broom. Another thing he likes is to tease his little sister. Roy is not a bad guy, he sometimes just says and does the wrong things. Will he be able to figure out what he wants in life and fulfill the dream whatever he will choose? Sidra means Starborn in Latin. Her last name is Lamia, and this means fairy in Latin. I thought hername is fitting, because Sidra is a starborn fairy.

Background story: Every night the children of stars (also known as star fairies) go dancing, but only when it is a full moon they come down to earth to dance in the moonlight. They dance on the surface of the lake. Silver circles appear where their feet touch the water. They dance until the morning. Then it is time again to go home, to the stars. One night when the moon was full, the children of the stars came dancing in Moonlight Falls. It was the first time Sidra Lamia was dancing on a real lake. Of courseshe danced before, but that was back home among the stars. Sidra was amazed by the beauty of the lake. She was wondering what was behind all those trees. She wasdancing closer and closer to the edge of the lake. Trying to get a better look at the surrounding. It was then that she fell! She didn´t look where she was dancing and tripped. The water was very cold. Sidra was unsure what was happening, but was able to get out of the water unharmed. But now here wings were all wet! You can´t fly when your wings are wet. How was she supposed to get home again? The sun was already rising. Sidra watched her sister go back home to the stars... Sidra was left behind. Poor Sidra! She has already been a clumsy fairy. She is hopeless romantic and always wanted to know what lay on the other side of the stars. Sidra was sad that she was left behind, but then she realised she could explore this new world! Maybe one day when the moon was full again her sisters would come for her to take her home to the stars, but until then Sidra would have the chance to get to know Moonlight Falls and its residents.

It looks like Sidra is stuck here for a while. She goes house hunting.

The next day Sidra finds a house she loves. It makes her want to dance!
Sidra moving into her very own fairy cottage. She will use this as her base to discover Moonlight Falls. Now Sidra is off to bed. It is way past bed time for her, remember she comes from the stars and there they sleep during the day. Night Sidra, sweet dreams!

I re-created my Little Pumpkin House (which is in my studio) only I left it a one story and turned it into a starter. At least I think it will be a starter. I have a terrible time making them! :P

Over-emotional Arjen tends to overreact. When his camera is lost, he must have a perfect replacement right now!
Artistic Arjen likes to paint, even though he is not persuing the dream of becoming good at painting he still wants to pick up a brush to make art.
Photographer's Eye Arjen is good atmaking photographs. With is tablet he quickly worked up his photograph skill. He bought the most expensive camera to be able to make expensive pictures. He doesn´t sell them all though, they are for his private collection. He goes to places all over the world to find the perfect spot to take a photograph.
Eco-Friendly Arjen always takes short showers. Arjen doesn´t own a car. Even though he is human he begged me to buy him a broom, so now he is flying around town on his very own broom. No plain old bike for him...the broom is the future! :P When Arjen takes a taxi he always shares it with one of his family members. Carpooling makes him happy. When Arjen cooks, he always makes biological food.
Nurturing Arjen always makes time for the kids and is very nice to them. He does have to discipline them sometimes, but always forgives them really soon.

After she left for art school her mother didn´t want to keep in contact with her. You should know that her mother was the evil kind of witch. Now that Caitlyn has her own family, she is free to do with her live as she wishes. And what she really wants is to be a Descendant of Da Vinci! That means she is going to paint, sculp and invenent things. She usually paints outside, because she just loves the outdoors. Caitlyn has green fingers. She also is a brilliant cook! Painting what she cooked is something she likes to do too. Is Caitlyn really a Descendant of Da Vinci? Caitlyn sure hopes so!

Green Thumb Caitlyn doesn´t have much time to spend in the garden, yet she is very good with plants. She sometimes talks to them to make them hapier. It really works!
Eccentric Caitlyn is sometimes lost to the world for a moment. She then stands staring into the distance and suddenly she calls "Eureka!". Then she runs off to invent something. Caitlyn is good at inventing new things, though she got most of her inventing knowledge out of a book.
Natural Cook Caitlyn loves to cook! She can produce the most delicious meals. It is like magic!
Artistic Caitlyn is very artistic and loves to paint. Her paintings are really good.
Loves the Outdoors Caitlyn loves to be outdoors. Why read a recipe inside when you can also read it in the garden? This is what she often does. She even takes up fishing to have an excuse for going outside.

Description/bio:Roy Crowley has been born as a witch. He is really into magic and wants to learn about it as much as possible. He hs a green tumb and loves all kind of plants. He talks about it all the time. That can be really annoying. Even though Roy can be very inappropriate, he still is popular with the girls. They say he is such a great kisser! Roy is a daredevil. He often pulls stunts that drives his parents to dispair. His hobby is brewing potions and stunt riding on a broom. Another thing he likes is to tease his little sister. Roy is not a bad guy, he sometimes just says and does the wrong things. Will he be able to figure out what he wants in life and fulfill the dream whatever he will choose?
How do they reflect their chosen traits and favorites:
Green thumb Roy spends a lot of time in the garden. His mom created a tool specially for him to harvest the plants. Roy even has a plant in his garden, namely a dead flower. He wants to keep a close eye on that special plant.
Inappropriate Roy sometimes does weird things, but as soon as he could he bought a lifetime reward so that his behaviour is not seen as inappropiate. Roy uses spells and curses on other sims all the time. I think that is inappropriate! His dad seems to be his favourite target.
Daredevil Eating sand, playing with fire, visiting a graveyard during fullmoon...nothing too scary for this daredevil

Clumsy Oops! Did I do that? Nora is clumsy and often trips over her own feet.
Excitable Nora is excited about all small things in live. She is a happy kid.
Loves animals Nora wants to adopt a dog, cat and a horse! There is no room for so many pets, so the family only own 1 cat (Cinder). Nora likes to look for Cinder when he is in hiding. She really loves to play with him.

Cinder is a black cat. He is very lazy and sleeps most of the day and night. Cinder is a very independent cat, yet he is friendly. He always listens when Nora talks to him. Although sometimes he starts to snore in the middle of the conversation! Cats! *rolls eyes*
