Aww. Sad. :( I'm glad you managed to salvage it.
Don't use my horses though. At least not the ones from Prometheus. Foal 1 - 9 should be fine though. :/

I'm glad about it too :) luckily managed to age up and export Celeno to the exchange before the game crashed :) only reason Herakles isn't on there yet is because he still is untrained (even though he's fathered two foals by now :D) coz poor Pandora hasn't had much time to do any riding - taking care of Herakles and the two mares and their foals gave her plenty to do. Especially that she was a teen initially and still had to go to school xDD

Luckily both mares are trained so they won't need much attention in this aspect :D Pandora was going to sell them but then my game decided I've played for long enough and after a few hours of Sims time it crashed on me xDD

Edit: and I'm sure I'll use someone :) or maybe one of Chituma's foals - hopefully he' ll father some fillies too :D

Unfortunately I have, somehow, lost some screenshots so we will have to skip about a sim day and a half...

Oh, and the writing style changes a little... It will be more of a diary like thing just with pictures... I hope it isn't a big problem to anyone :)

    The new beginning

It didn't take Pandora too long to get used to Lucky Palms. The day after she moved in she headed to the EC. There she saw a young mare for sale at a really silly price, she was told the mare was too weak and not capable of competing hence the price. The girl looked at the young, pretty mare and decided to buy her. "We'll show them" she whispered to the horse when leading her home. With now two horses on the ranch Pandora decided to invest some in them, before heading home she had gotten a set of cavalettis in addition to the stall that was already there. Since her move she also had a small shack built for herself, which she made into a bathroom. Apart from that she got a fairy castle to sleep in and a desk with a computer for writing...

It was on one of the evenings that she decided to start writing about her life on the ranch. She didn't treat the notebook as a diary, not really, it was just an emotional escape for her, as she would always say.
I've never done this before and I feel kind of stupid doing it now, she wrote, today was a day as any other since I found myself a place here... The horses are getting on just fine, there might be something stirring there and that's good.Screenshot-95_zpsce92d88a.jpg
    Screenshot-103_zps3ccd4a1d.jpg
The stray dog that joined us along the way, Tekla, she's making herself useful by bringing home random gems and metals. Even if she didn't I'd still love her though, I've always wanted a dog and she makes me feel safe here. Both her and the horses let me forget about what happened. Like there was never a fire, like I could go back and visit mom and dad any time. But when the evenings come I know that that's not the case, in the evenings there is nothing to do, hence this... Journal, let's call it. Otherwise I'd probably be cleaning the already clean stall..
    Screenshot-94_zps70f499c5.jpg
Or trying to teach Tekla some tricks if she isn't asleep already, tired from all the digging, which it just happens she is. I think I should go to sleep too. There is so much work to do here and I have school tomorrow. Well, then... Night.

    Screenshot-104_zpsd4982e25.jpg
Even though it made her feel a little silly Gabrielle found that writing this journal takes her mind off what happened, so from then on whenever she had too much time on her hands she wrote.

Morning, since the horses and the dog are busy I decided to make a small update. I still get nightmares... I now know how mum felt after the volcano erupted in Sunlit Tides. I know she used to wake at night for days...
Well, anyway, I see a foal coming since the horses decided to get to know each other much better but it's nothing certain yet.
    Screenshot-118_zps32d25f19.jpg
Whenever she isn't hunting down the next gem, Tekla is enjoying the ball I got her, she loves playing with it. Either way, I gotta run - the school bus is here.
    Screenshot-121_zpsecce0436.jpg
    Screenshot-113_zps477798c5.jpg
It's me again. The horses are training and Tekla is out somewhere again.
    Screenshot-179_zps572ea040.jpg
    Screenshot-189_zps437d54bc.jpg
This means I have a minute to do my homework. And throw a little fairy house party which, in reality means listening to some music in the fairy house, all on my own. After that back to my homework now with Tekla and a random stray cat watching me...
    Screenshot-196_zps66bb594c.jpg
    Screenshot-197_zpsd4bbc6c8.jpg
    Screenshot-201_zps6945cc13.jpg
Forgot to mention... Seeing how many gems Tekla brings home I got us a gem cutter, comes in useful :) either way - I should go back to the homework.
    Screenshot-205_zps35dede2b.jpg
Gosh, I didn't realise it was that late - having finished the homework I planted my first two plants. Then I cut some gems with the gem cutter. Everyone is asleep now, so I guess I'll hit the bed too.

Today was a busy day, when I got uo the horses were eating and as usual in the mornings Tekla was nowhere to be found. I think Faith is starting to show a little now but a vet will come to confirm that today. Oh, I called the mare Faith, 'coz I have great faith in her - we'll show the EC people that she ain't no weak horse!
    Screenshot-221_zpsa8035b0a.jpg
    Screenshot-222_zps43addb9c.jpg
There was no point in looking for her though since I knew she was out hunting down the next thing. Either way the school bus was already waiting for me so I had to hurry.
    Screenshot-224_zps4bcc5f68.jpg
Through it's windows I saw Herakles and Faith training again. Herakles, I still cannot believe he's already a stud... He was just a foal not so long ago. He is a little stubborn but he's a beauty... And I owe my life to him - if he didn't go missing that morning, then I would have been in that burning house too...
    Screenshot-227_zps99ee7237.jpg
    Screenshot-241_zps01bba626.jpg
When we were going past the EC I saw Tekla too... She was digging something up on the EC's property... I hope I won't get into trouble for that.
    Screenshot-249_zps5126e50e.jpg
When I got home Herakles was socialising with Tekla and Faith was helping herself to some hay. I was almost certain that she's pregnant.
    Screenshot-258_zps08ea640a.jpg
    Screenshot-267_zps8d42d192.jpg
My suspicions were confirmed by a note on my computer's monitor. "Faith surely is pregnant. Prepare for a little foal." Signed "The Vet" which made me laugh a little but I suppose the guy likes to identify himself as "The Vet".
It was the fist time I truly laughed in weeks. It felt good, so when I starting tending to my two feeble plants I had a smile on my face. My first real smile in Lucky Palms.
    Screenshot-269_zps7a03b0d7.jpg
When I was doing my homework Herakles was having a sip of water and Faith trained.
    Screenshot-273_zps1876bdfe.jpg
    Screenshot-276_zps96adef74.jpg
I've cut some gems before hand and quickly had them sold, so when I was sending some metals to be smelted I paid the bills too.
    Screenshot-282_zps08437e31.jpg
Then as I was about to take a seat at the desk I suddenly found myself turning in a mass of sparkles, I completely forgot today was my birthday.

    Screenshot-291_zps710e1b60.jpg
    Screenshot-292_zps6b593b3b.jpg
Unfortunately a change of wardrobe was necessary.
    Screenshot-297_zps13a57f24.jpg
Well and that's about all that happened today. Everyone is asleep now though so I will join them.

Today everyone slept until quite late so most the action took place in the evening... I gave the horses' stall a good clean, while Herakles was showing the mommy-to-be some affection.
    Screenshot-317_zps5508afec.jpg
Then I spread the hay, and did some reading about horses on the computer. I knew I had to know what to do if Faith needs any help...
    Screenshot-323_zps1ca3e492.jpg
    Screenshot-325_zps46a4ec29.jpg
Unfortunately Tekla did not come back this evening... It turned out she was not careful enough and got hit by a car... The neighbor who saw it though had a few great danes to give away and she sugested I could take one. I was more than happy to do so, sure enough the dog was big especially for a female but she was a sweetheart too. I called her Sonia, she is a harlequin great dane, and so far loves the horses and the ranch life. She's also a good guard dog, and seems to like hunting too though I am a little more careful with her now...
    Screenshot-357_zpsb0f29d24.jpg
I also had a second mare dropped off in the evening... I was contacted by the shelter and they told me about the agreement they had with my mother about training horses. They suggested they could send me some mares over every now and again if I don't mind training them, they said I can breed them too. I agreed and before I knew it Cameo arrived.
    Screenshot-327_zpsbdcf292d.jpg
She was tiny but pretty anyway - she should throw a pretty foal...
    Screenshot-360_zps23a26408.jpg
Faith seemed to be constantly hungry nowadays but she was eating for two so I wasn't surprised. She is really starting to show now.
    Screenshot-362_zpsb72fb102.jpg

It seems that from now on most the writing will take place in the evening... Today in the morning the horses had a bit of group exercise. After which the two mares got to know each other a little.
    Screenshot-380_zps9082e4d7.jpg
    Screenshot-380_zps9082e4d7.jpg
Then I left the ranch in search for some seeds or fruits and similar business... I found a cockroach, two seeds, some mushrooms and a few bits of metal.
    Screenshot-389_zps2b97ccac.jpg
When I arrived home I realised that Caemo must have been getting familiar with Herakles too since they were now getting to know each other much better...
    Screenshot-392_zpsa219201b.jpg
I felt really angry at myself when I found out that Faith gave birth when I was away... I was supposed to make sure she doesn't need help!
    Screenshot-397_zpsfb9cb1fc.jpg
    Screenshot-397_zpsfb9cb1fc.jpg
Either way she gave birth to a pretty, healthy colt... I named him Menelaos.
    Screenshot-400_zps754326c8.jpg
    Screenshot-401_zps9f5a0959.jpg
He's a real cutie and looks a lot like his momma.
    Screenshot-404_zps1e01d63a.jpg
It seemed Herakles wasn't done for the day though since soon after Menelaos arrived he and Cameo gave it another try. It seems he really wants another foal of his own, probably one that looks more like him xD
    Screenshot-405_zpsba54e0f0.jpg
Meanwhile Sonia was hunting collectibles at the EC, it's right next door to our ranch so I could allow for that. She was close enough to home to come back when I called her.
    Screenshot-411_zps7416f3da.jpg
As I was spreading the hay and the horses all gathered around me I had some builders build me a proper home for what I had earned from selling the gems and metals... It didn't exactly have any rooms yet, only one massive room and a bathroom but it will do for now.
    Screenshot-414_zpsf7f75825.jpg
    The horses got another stall.
    Screenshot-415_zpsf4576a7e.jpg
Which was almost immediately put to test by Herakles and Cameo...
    Screenshot-424_zpsf0355588.jpg
There is no way on Earth for that mare not to get pregnant...
Inside Sonia watched carefully as I cut a gem that she brought. I think she was happy with the result since she left me alone when it came back out...
    Screenshot-431_zps46e951b4.jpg
She wasn't the only one that spied on me that day though. As I was gardening Menelaos paid close attention...
    Screenshot-436_zpsccebb1c7.jpg
Then he decided to socialise some with Sonia... They look so funny when next to each other...
    Screenshot-441_zps75c07793.jpg
And having written up everything that happened today I am now going to sleep just like all my animals have done already...

I think I met the love of my life! I decided to 'take a day off' and wonder around the town a little since all I have seen here so far was the school, the EC and the city hall. I turned into one of the smaller roads and I saw two beautiful mares. What's more they were lead by the most handsome guy I have ever seen. Keeping it cool I decided to ask if he ever thought of breeding them but he didn't seem interested in talking about the horses.
    Screenshot-2_zps9072e709.jpg
He mumbled something about them being young and rather than talk about the mares he decided to flirt with me... I am not much of a flirt but it seemed to come very naturally to me right then.
    Screenshot-8_zps8a2f9175.jpg
    Screenshot-13_zpsf7be83a1.jpg
Overwhelmed with emotions I gave him a kiss...Screenshot-20_zps6fd62bc6.jpg
It was my first kiss. Strangely enough my sudden action did not scare him off. Contrarily he embraced me and asked if I want to go steady. I know it is very quick but I said yes...
    Screenshot-21_zps862a82dd.jpg
Before I got back to the ranch it was starting to get dark. I quickly brushed Faith out, then I took some time to sort out my growing garden, and yet again I was accompanied by Menelaos whilst doing it. He might not looks like his dad but his character says it all... I recognised that behaviour just too well.
    Screenshot-27_zps4f8a0939.jpg
    Screenshot-31_zps131fffe9.jpg
Faith and Cameo seemed to be good friends regardless of sharing one man but then it is absolutely natural for horses...
    Screenshot-33_zpsbd485607.jpg

It's been over a week since we settled down here and I was reminded this morning that I have a graduation ceremony to attend... This meant a very early wake up since I had to sort the horses out before going out... Just after the sun rose I was up and spreading the hay, filling the water trough and sorting out Faith, whom somehow managed to get herself dirty again...
    Screenshot-54_zpsdcb459ce.jpg
Meanwhile my little herd was enjoying some family time.
    Screenshot-50_zps15087f11.jpg
Sonia took her duties very seriously and seeing that I'm mounting Faith she sat down by the door to guard our possessions.
    Screenshot-56_zps5a666728.jpg
    Screenshot-63_zps2efb8fb9.jpg
Soon after I arrived at the city hall to get my diploma. Having tied Faith to a nearby tree I walked in to the building.
    Screenshot-69_zps06b018c4.jpg
    Screenshot-72_zps95032b3f.jpg
After about an hour I was out, I quickly mounted Faith and headed to the EC. I felt sad to have her go but she was ready now to perform in competitions so she was ready to find new owners.
    Screenshot-82_zps0a79e227.jpg
As I was making my way to the EC I got a phone call from the neighbour that Cameo had given birth to a little colt. The woman said he's adorable and I could not wait to see him when I get back. She asked if she could name him, since it was the same neighbour that gave me Sonia I agreed. She named him Apollo and I like the name.
    Screenshot-76_zps6e038001.jpg
    Screenshot-79_zpsd3911ff7.jpg
I arrived at the EC way too son so I decided to enter Faith in a beginners racing and beginners jumping competition.
    Screenshot-84_zpsf618c0d4.jpg
She came first in the racing and second in the jumping and I felt proud of her. This meant however that it was time to say goodbye. My only words to this pretty young mare were "You show them girl" and then I handed her over to the new owners...
    Screenshot-88_zps270e64f5.jpg
    Screenshot-89_zps9f4e8728.jpg

I hope you guys don't mind the change in narrative but I find it easier to write that way. We have now caught up with both the foal count and where I am in-game. I might not be able to update as often as of next week since Uni is starting for me...

I just got caught up with this, glad you were able to salvage the game. I had my prettacy corrupt and just moved them to a new town, thankfully I was able to salvage my entire family. Once I get them more settled, I'll return to my 50 foal challenge, too. Good luck with uni!

Lucky for you :) and waiting for a new update in your FFC :) and to be honest I haven't even tried to get the whole family because I think there was something glitchy with the family itself... No matter where I moved them there were problems... o.O so after getting absolutely fed up with the constant crashing I just saved pandora and Herakles and moved them to Lucky Palms :D

I really like the journal style updates :D . I'm glad you were at least able to salvage part of the family, and it really works with the story you made for them. Both of those mares are really pretty, it will be great seeing their foals all grown up...and I'm loving the color transitions on Apollo  .

    A Growing Feeling

Then I had to go back to the ranch and get Cameo... I felt terrible about having to separate Apollo and hi mother but I hadn't had much choice, I needed to get the ranch to a decent level for another mare to arrive. And I also needed to finally finish the house, or at least get a decent study and kitchen. Feeling that I am doing to Apollo what the Moonlight Falls people did to me and Herakles I took Cameo to the EC.
    Screenshot-2.jpg
The EC staff had no trouble looking for a new owner for her and Faith was already gone by then. It seemed that having my name did the trick even though, by now, everyone knows about my mother's death...
Walking out of the EC I realised that there will be nothing for me to do on the ranch... I fed the foals before taking Cameo to the EC and the stalls were all sorted out. Thinking about my options I decided to take the risk and invite Hunter out for a date... I forgot to write his name down the last time... He's the guy with the two wonderful mares...
    Screenshot-22.jpg
Either way, I called him and asked if he wouldn't want to go out for a, rather late, dinner... I was quite surprised he hadn't shouted at me for calling him at such a late hour, but I was even more surprised when he said he was actually about to call me with the same question... He suggested going to a cafe since and I knew nothing about the town just yet I agreed to go there. He told me to meet him there which forced me to rely solely on the cabby's knowledge of the town - not that I think I know it better but I don't like relying on others... I was more than happy when the cabby announced that this is where I asked to be taken, rushing out of the cab I almost forgot too pay the poor guy...
Very quickly I saw Hunter and we walked into the cafe. It was a nice, warm evening so Hunter suggested we eat outside, I was more than happy to do so and we sat at one of the tables on the cafe's deck.
    Screenshot-23.jpg
    Screenshot-24.jpg
    Screenshot-25.jpg
We ate chatting about life and horses and after Hunter went back inside for a while (and in the mean time I breathed fire - never again will I eat sweet and sour soup) we walked towards the deck's railing to watch the stars... This soon had as (or me at least) in a romantic mood and we kissed.
    Screenshot-28.jpg
Looking into Hunter's eyes I was certain... I wanted to be with him forever, so thinking very little of it at the time I got on my knee (just like a man would) took out my mothers ring which I found in the ruins of our house back in Moonlight Falls and asked Hunter to marry me.
    Screenshot-32.jpg
    Screenshot-34.jpg
Then came an awful pause. First off Hunter did not stir at all - he just stood there looking at me like he thought I'm an idiot... Then he took the ring from me and tried to put it on his finger... Quite obviously it was way to small but somehow he manged to force it a little way on his pinky... Thinking that I will need to get him a proper signet I finally got up from my knee and then he hugged me...
    Screenshot-37.jpg
    Screenshot-42.jpg
    Screenshot-45.jpg
Then there was even more kissing...
    Screenshot-47.jpg
When we were shooed away by the waiters who were closing the cafe we went to my ranch... And we did not even notice that Sonia was watching us closely, we just kept kissing. Which soon ended in quite a predictable way...
    Screenshot-52.jpg
    Screenshot-55.jpg
    Screenshot-57.jpg
    Screenshot-61.jpg
    Then we both fell asleep...
    Screenshot-73.jpg

Today had a late start for me, but not for the colts. Menelaos and Apollo spent their morning playing with each other.
    Screenshot-74.jpg
    Screenshot-75.jpg
Hunter got up before me and decided to check on the horses... While outside he noticed that one of the obstacles was on the ground so he picked it up.
    Screenshot-79.jpg
Then he decided to sleep some more.
    Screenshot-81.jpg
When I finally got up I was really hungry so I made us some breakfast. Hunter joined me in the kitchen before I was done so we enjoyed the meal together.
    Screenshot-95.jpg
Meanwhile outside the horses were having their daily dose of exercise.
    Screenshot-89.jpg
    Screenshot-89.jpg
    Screenshot-91.jpg
Hunter then told me that he has to go to work but that he'll be back later. Unhappy as I was I couldn't keep him on the ranch so I just made him promise he'll be back in the evening and set off to feed the colts.
    Screenshot-98.jpg
    Screenshot-101.jpg
    Screenshot-104.jpg
    Screenshot-109.jpg
Realising that I have nothing more to do outside at least for now I headed to the gem cutter since the gems had been piling up (Sonia is an amazing hunter).
    Screenshot-115.jpg
    Screenshot-118.jpg
The house was finally starting to look like a house.
    Screenshot-120.jpg
But somehow I did not feel too well...
    Screenshot-121.jpg
    Screenshot-124.jpg
After that I felt much better. Exceptionally tired I decided to take a short coffee break while the horses were busy with themselves.
    Screenshot-128.jpg
    Screenshot-129.jpg
Then I got back to work, first sorting out the two plants in my study and then tending the growing garden outside with the colts watching my every move while I was outside.
    Screenshot-133.jpg
    Screenshot-137.jpg
    Screenshot-138.jpg
    Screenshot-140.jpg
Then Herakles decided to show his boys how NOT to behave, rolling around in the dirt...
    Screenshot-143.jpg
Soon after Sonia set off on another hunt for some collectibles.
    Screenshot-149.jpg
As the day was coming to an end I fed Apollo...
    Screenshot-153.jpg
    And then Menelaos.
    Screenshot-154.jpg
Then I was forced to make another trip to the toilet.
    Screenshot-158.jpg
After which I craved some more coffee. Just when I finished it I heard the door bell ring.
    Screenshot-160.jpg
    Screenshot-161.jpg
I quickly invited Hunter inside and offered him some salad.
    Screenshot-162.jpg
    Then we exchanged some gossips.
    Screenshot-168.jpg
Moved onto some more serious matters...
    Screenshot-174.jpg
    Screenshot-176.jpg
Then I asked Hunter if he would like to move to the ranch. I mean, we are already engaged and I would be really happy to have someone to help me with the horses... Hunter agreed without a moment of thought.
    Screenshot-184.jpg
Now I shall join my fiance and go to sleep. Night!
    Screenshot-186.jpg

Waking up in the morning I was surprised to see that Sonia had been guarding the house instead of sleeping. When she saw I was up though she quickly fell asleep in her doghouse.
    Screenshot-190.jpg
Meanwhile Hunter unsaddled his mares. They were dropped off at the ranch early in the morning. Only now did I realise that one of the was quite a big girl... Surely bigger than Herakles, which made me doubt the possibility of pairing her up with Herakles.

    Screenshot-192.jpg
I couldn't believe it was already time for my precious little Menelaos to age up, I was angry at myself for feeling ill and not being able to be outside while he made the transition from a colt into a stallion. Hunter was there though and cheered my little boy on while he spun in a cloud of sparkles.
    Screenshot-195.jpg
    Screenshot-198.jpg
Very soon it was over and Menelaos was turned into a handsome young stallion.
    Screenshot-201.jpg
    Screenshot-202.jpg
Then all of a sudden something set Hunter off...
    Screenshot-203.jpg
And he suddenly turned into a werewolf.
    Screenshot-204.jpg
But that did not stop him from feeding Apollo and he was as gentle with the foal as he had ever been.
    Screenshot-208.jpg
Meanwhile I spent the whole day in bed since I felt ill just like I did yesterday. Now, however, I am feeling much better so I shall go and do some work on the ranch. Whilst I can.

    Screenshot-210.jpg
Oh, yes, I almost forgot... I think I'm pregnant!

I think it's from equus sims but I am not 100 % sure - too much CC xDD I actually downloaded it and then I didn't like it on any horses until Menelaos came along xDD Thank you and yes baby (it was born already - need to update again soon) :)

Btw - found the mane somewhere xDD it's here - http://lakesideranch.weebly.com/horse.html (though I surely downloaded it from somewhere else xDD)

Thank you Cat :) I'm afraid it will be another week or so before I can update again coz I am just getting used to uni.

Speaking of uni had my first lectures today and they were pretty interesting :D Either way I do apologise, in advance, if I don't update for ages but I am just settling in into this :)

Great challenge! I just finally caught up. It's a shame that you lost most of your family but you did such a great job handling it. I can't wait to see what a half fairy half werewolf baby is like. Reading your challenge and all the others that have now incorporated Supernatutal make me wish I had it. But I need to focus on getting my computer back first. You have some really nice foals!

Thank you :) I quite like the recent foals too :) and for the baby - it isn't a hybrid unfortunately - they don't work that way, they are either the same sub-species as mom or dad and not both... Unfortunately coz a fairy werewolf would probably be really cool :D I really hope you do get your computer back - I have been reading your story just not had enough time to comment :) more of a lurker...

Menelaos and Herakles are now on the exchange and Apollo should follow shortly :)

I have adopted a horse from http://piperbonitasims.weebly.com/index.html and she should arrive in my game on Friday. I am not going to make a stable but I was looking for some horses that seemed to have nice genetics and stumbled across that website. Either way the mare I adopted will be used in my challenge.

Cat - me too :) They are difficult but surely interesting and enjoyable :D and school certainly comes first - I cannot afford to fall behind so I might even have to hold on with trying out The Sims 3 Seasons until my Christmas break (and I have it pre-ordered already).

Edit: Apollo is now also on the exchange :)

Edit I've added a list of the restart's chapters below.

    The Restart Chapters

Note the chapter are in chronological order - most recent update will be at the end of the list :D

Intro - List of horses (and download links for them) in the post just below.
    New Life
    The Rhythm - First Foal!
    The First Success - Foals 2 and 3 :)

So I decided to restart the challenge with a new horse and family as my game crashes on me almost constantly on the current save... Hopefully this will stop the crashing.

Edit: I might have managed to sort out my problems with the game... If so expect another update today or tomorrow :)

Another edit: Turns out that something in the family must have been glitched... I'm restarting the challenge but will keep it on this thread. I hope to update today or tomorrow as long as I get enough game-play :)

So the new founders are Carrie Cielo and Espíritu Cielo and they have been started off in Moonlight Falls :)

I will later try and post their pictures in this post and will save the next one for Espíritu's foals - that's now done :D

Note: Espíritu's link takes will open up a download if anyone wants him - I wasn't able to put him up on the exchange though...
    Intro

Hi, I'm Carrie, this is me when I first arrived at Moonlight Falls.
    2.jpg
And this is my horse, Espíritu. He has a lovely nature but has a lot to learn. But he has potential... Great potential I'd say.
    1.jpg
We have only gotten to Moonlight Falls this morning, after a rather long journey...

But let's start from the beginning.
Since I can only remember I have lived in the orphanage. My parents died when I was an infant and I hadn't had the luck to be adopted. Though there could have been other reasons for that, but I'll get to that part of my story eventually.
When I became a child I was sent to school along with all the other kids. At school it was easier to blend in since no one knew about where I live, but it was hard for me just the same. I had always been weird, I made things happen around me just by thinking of them. And I was blue with this darker pattern on my body. When I turned into a teen people started to think it's a tattoo and I don't correct them.
But back to my story. Even though most kids avoided me I managed to make a friend at school. It was Pandora, Pandora Talbot. She lived just opposite our Sunlit Tides school too so I was always able to see her mother and the horses during our lunch breaks, sometimes Pandora even went home for lunch. She seemed to understand me and I was happy to finally find a friend, sometimes I visited her and she even knew about the orphanage.
Then the awful day came, as I got back from school I saw all the tutors trying to get the kids into some kind of order. When everyone was lined up they left. They left me there in the chaos. They hadn't noticed me come back, after a minute or two I ran out after them but they were already gone. Even worse, right before my eyes the volcano erupted. All I thought was that I wish I could be somewhere else...
The next thing I knew was waking up in the middle of a forest, with a big face right above me. A horse face. That's when I met Espíritu. At first he had no name, he was just the foal that followed me everywhere. To feed him and myself I started to practice my weird abilities which, as I would later find out were not so weird after all. My magic abilities. After many tries I managed to conjure some food for myself and formula for the foal, but I still needed a bottle and some water.
We walked and walked and eventually found a little hut in the middle of the forest, with great doubt in my mind I knocked and was invited inside by an elderly woman, she gave me a bottle and I was finally able to feed my foal. She also told me that my friend had now settled in Moonlight Falls, I never questioned her words but I later wondered how she knew.
That was why I decided to head to Moonlight Falls. I traveled for a very long time, eventually leaving my childhood behind, and then my teenage years. Espíritu also grew up and became a beautiful young stud during our journey. He also gained his name somewhere along the way.
    3.jpg
When we finally arrived at 🐸🐸🐸🐸 I was already a young adult and Espíritu proved to be a loyal companion never leaving my side, never abandoning me in my sleep. When we got here though I was told that the Talbots are long gone. That I shouldn't bother looking for them because I won't find them anywhere else either. I got back in the saddle to search the town anyway when I saw it all.
    4.jpg
I saw the fire that killed Pandora's family. I saw her escape and start her own family in Lucky Palms. Worst of all I saw a terrible man hunt her down and set her house on fire. She died like the rest of her family. The house was set on fire when she slept peacefully with her fiancee, her son was asleep too. She woke up to see fire everywhere and in a few moments she was gone. Her horses escaped and run off.
Having seen all this I felt like I owes something to Pandora and her mother. I turned Espíritu around and headed to the Estate Office, luckily for me they had a lot just the right size for me and Espíritu. They said I can pay when I start to make money but made me swear on my magic that I will pay the whole sum. I was given an address and headed straight out to find the place. When I sat back in Espíritu's saddle and turned him around again I couldn't believe our luck. We had a home. Now everything had to change.

    Extras:

    1. Carrie Cielo - Founding Sim - Young Adult; Witch; Traits: Animal Lover, Loves the Outdoors, Nurturing, Gatherer, Green Thumb; LTW: Fairy Tale Finder.
    2. Espíritu Cielo - Founding Stud - Adult; Mixed Breed; Traits: Friendly, Genius, Brave (I think so at least xDD)
    3. Starting family (Carrie and Espíritu Cielo)
    4. Pepper Cielo - Adult; Andalusian; Traits: Playful, Brave, Friendly; Adopted from the in-game Pet Shelter; Zeus's mother.

    Foals:

    1. Zeus Cielo (colt) - Traits: Friendly, Playful, Untrained (for the time being). Out of Pepper - Adopted (Pet Shelter); Andalusian; Traits: to check (forgot). Somehow the game did not register Espíritu as this colts father so I will start counting the foals from the next one.

    Foals by Espíritu:

    1. Tanatos - out of EE Tilanas Dowry (Lana) from the Equestrian Estate
    2. Hades - out of Pepper Cielo (for info look in Extras)

    New Life

Having made a quick tour of what I now call my home (a very simple and small shack and not a house really) I mounted Espíritu and we headed out for a tour of the town.
    1.jpg
    2.jpg
We were simply wandering around the town and eventually ended up by the City Hall. Suddenly I was struck with an idea, I got off Espíritu and headed inside.
    3.jpg
After about half an hour I left the building and got back on the horse. The only difference was that from then on I was a registered horsewoman.
    4.jpg
    5.jpg
That did not however make me any more confident about horse riding...
    6.jpg
By the time we got home it started to get dark, my butt was sore and so was Spirit's back, so as soon as he set his hoof on our property I slid clumsily off his back.
    7.jpg
I was starting to feel tired but I knew I had a few more things to do still...
So I spread some hay for Espíritu...
    8.jpg
    And while Spirit was training...
    9.jpg
Made an important phone call to the local Pet Shelter...
    10.jpg
Then had a quick dinner and Espíritu had his...
    11.jpg
    12.jpg
Then as I was washing up the plate in my bathroom sink I was rounded up by the Pet Shelter worker who brought a mare along with her. I named her Pepper, she was a sweet Andalusian mare with nice traits.
    13.jpg
I quickly said hello to my new furry friend.
    14.jpg
And then I finally settled for some sleep.
    15.jpg
    Spirit quickly followed my example.
    16.jpg
Pepper did too but only after she played a little with the horse ball.
    17.jpg
    18.jpg

    ***

The next morning the horses were up before me.
    19.jpg
    20.jpg
When I got up, I played some with my magic.
    21.jpg
Then whipped up some salad for breakfast.
    22.jpg
Meanwhile the horses were getting very friendly outside.
    23.jpg
    And as I ate,
    24.jpg
    And played with magic.
    25.jpg
The horses were rather busy... *chimes* I have a weird feeling that I won't have to wait long for the first foal.
    26.jpg
Then they both decided to get some exercise.
    27.jpg
While I still worked on improving my magic abilities.
    28.jpg
As the evening approached I headed off to the Grocery Store.
    30.jpg
    And did some collecting.
    31.jpg
Unhappy with my find I decided to transform it into something else.
    32.jpg
    It worked!
    33.jpg
Then I spent some time with my newest pet, Jim. Isn't he just lovely?
    34.jpg

    ***

Just in case anyone is getting confused - Espíritu is simply Spirit in Spanish hence I use the names interchangeably but the horse's true name is Espíritu.

Thank you :) I spent quite a while making them - if I was restarting I decided to do it properly :D I have not yet seen the first foal either but hopefully I will today xDD and I am hoping for something really nice since I added some layers that are completely hidden, so hopefully they'll show up :D

As to the picture, thank you :) I always try my best with them but rarely ever do they come out nicely and I gotta say I like this one too ;)

Edit: Oh and if you really like Spirit then feel free to use him in your challenge - I'd love to see someone from my challenge go off and reproduce somewhere else xDD his link works only thing being it downloads from dropbox since the exchange does not seem to like him at all - I tried to upload him about five times each time it said he is uploaded when I open up the launcher but he still did not appear in my studio o.O

Of course! He'll definently show up as a sire at some point. ;)
