I was thinking again about an “Anne of Green Gables” story. I’ve been googling Victorian CC, and it’s quite different to find stuff that’s historically accurate for children. Particularly for boys, there’s very little for them. What stuff I have found for boys is quite fancy, not really every day wear.
In Victorian times, the skirt length for girls changed with age. Younger girls of maybe four or five would’ve worn knee-length dresses, then girls of Anne’s age (11 at the start of the book) would’ve had mid-calf length dresses, with full/ankle-length dresses coming later. Hair was also an indication of age; there’s even a bit in Anne of Green Gables where Anne and her friend Diana are talking about hairstyles, and I think that girls started wearing their hair fully up at about 17 (as mentioned in the books anyway).
So I don’t know. If I did do “Anne of Sim Gables” it would be a long way off - I’ve yet to go back to the Mastersons after the infants update, and I’ve got other story ideas too. I just feel like it’d be easier all round to do a “modern” version of the story. Perhaps Anne could form a club where they all dress Victorian-style or something.
Aimee was bad and busy! She got into all sorts of mayhem. It does prevent boredom so for an active girl like her that's a plus. Looking forward to her next adventure!
"Leave Anders here". I got a nice laugh out of that line and Mikkel's reaction.🙂 The backstory was wonderful and now we get to see a reconciliation, possibly. I love reconciliation and redemption stories and you do a wonderful job writing.
@DaniRose2143 Yep, William, Barbara and I ( ) absolutely have our hands full, but it’s fun too. It’s currently Tuesday in Winter. Emerald becomes a toddler on Friday and then Clemmie becomes a child on Sunday. So that’s one more in preschool and one more in grade school. I will probably use max motives at some point! Because of playing on the Long lifespan, there will be a brief period where all six are children, before Scarlet becomes a teen. Phew! No more nappies and everyone can bathe themselves

Absolutely agreed on Ianto. He is cute, but so is a mama bear. Also, awwww... Anders being there seems to have saved the day. Hm. Some things still feel wonky, but without any more curveballs I feel like they might work out. Perhaps if Jack is nice to both Mikkel and Anders, Owen can take a page from that book and find it in himself to be nice to both Anders and Mikkel. Hopefully.
Awww... I don't think Bonnie is an actual skeleton. It's just her surname and girls make fun of her for it. It would make for a wild tale if she was, but I don't think I could get proper screenies for that. Kind of a shame, really, but oh well.

Scarlet made friends with Nani Kealoha pretty quickly despite there not being a compatibility rating in the relationship panel. She’s apparently got bad compatibility with Evie Delgato, so it’d take a bit longer to befriend her but it’s still possible.
Barbara’s got a Pristine reputation and the Incredibly Friendly reward trait so compatibility is somewhat irrelevant She introduced herself to Jenna Akiyama at the Festival of Youth, then Jenna came into her house and directly into her bedroom (whilst Barbara was sleeping!!) to ask to be best friends!! I don’t mind this “best friends” thing, but wait until my Sim is awake, please!!
Often my Sims befriend people and then they don’t socialise much. Sara Scott comes over quite a bit but then she does have a key to the house.

Looking back I should have stuck to my very first thought which to actually have it be more funny than scary, or that I had warned folks ahead of time that the story was going to take such a wild detour. My biggest regret was bringing occult characters and storylines into a realism based story. Forgotten Hollow and it's residents will be a thing of the past, accept maybe Inna, and if I figure out how to get her out too I really feel like she will choose to regain her humanity.

I got quite a bit of work done on Danielle and Londyn's home. I can show off the remainder of the downstairs area. The big reveal is the upstairs and that will be in the next chapter. I can't wait to show it off. I think you all will love it! I reused almost all of the furniture and decorations from before, but there were one or two that I replaced, like the dining table and sofa. There are 6 people in the friend circle so a 6 seater dining table was a natural. I also thought it might be a good idea to place a divider around the floor and the countertops. You wouldn't want someone to take that one extra step and put their foot into that night's meal.
I have a lot of fun things in store for Liberty and Matteo's wedding venue and the new Celebrazioni. The club is going to get a big shove into the hip, modern nightlife scene. Eat your heart out Barcelona! (I goggled Europe's best nightlife😉)
Pride: I found a Woody and Bo Peep Sims (the last name Pride was given to Woody) set so I added them. This one is a pretty basic one though interestingly, Wood is enemies with film directer, Quentin Tarantino.
Here's the happy couple now. Interestingly, Woody wanted a baby with her before marrying her. I decided to get them eloped since I know the real Woody would want it that way.
It's interesting what Sims will flirt with when left to their own devices like the mailman.
Anyone whose seen Toy Story 2 and beyond will know why I named their daughter, Jessie.

Wowzie, now the place is really taking shape. I'm personally not a big fan of modern stuff, but you prove it can be done well. How you manage to make a place that open look neither empty nor cold is beyond me, but it did get cozy fast. O.O

Lately I have been enjoying the Mariolore series of shorts on Youtube by Dinobunny / Dinograveyard cosplay so I had to make them in the sims and recreate the drama.
The three main characters Princess Peach, Bowser and King Boo.
Peach and Bowser love the camera

It was very easy to replicate the drama from Mariolore and now they are all unhappy sims...
When they aren't being sims 4 sims and not remembering what has actually happened lol

then the werewolf cubs decided to ride on the "Rocking horses"
Forgot to mention a few things....so uh-
Got a pop-up saying "Jasper has reached level 5 in imagination" and i straight out said "Good job, Ghost" because at the same time Ghost(the dog) had finished the play dead trick...
So yeah- I have been confusing the werewolf cubs with the pets for quite some time now

@_Gina Thank you. I’m a big fan of modern decor so I work with it a lot. I really don’t have a style that I can’t stand. One thing I love to do irl is load up on plants and flowers. Not only are they pretty but they just make a room feel cozy and inviting. I think that helps to balance out the cold sterile look of modern decor. Sprinkle in some pieces with some color like the dining chairs helps too.
My elder sim died and her whole family saw. Then, both of her twin daughters died of laughter at their birthday party. I'm left with two young adult sims and their partners.

This picture hits me right in the feels. I posted about these girls on this forum years ago, Evelyn and Erin. This is Olivia's daughter, Yvette. (Olivia is the pregnant Sim above). Evelyn is married to Olivia's brother, and Erin is Evelyn's cousin.
Delia (the little girl in my avatar) looks sad. Her daughter, Eloise, is growing up, so maybe seeing baby Yvette brings back memories.
Olivia's older daughter, Stella, became a child. For once, the game didn't dress a child bad at age-up.
Olivia and her husband also welcomed baby girl #3, baby Trinity.
Evelyn also welcomed her first daughter (she has two sons, Skylar and Bryce), baby Makenna. I'm sure Makenna and Trinity will be good friends/cousins. Unfortunately, her husband was too invested in his computer to care his wife was giving birth in the same room.
Shelly Heart and Princess Roddy, Sophia and Hamish Furystrykar headed over to San Sequoia's Recreation Centre. There they did a puzzle together:

A bit later, Shelly, Princess Roddy, Sophia and Hamish headed over to the movie theatre to watch VoidBop:
Shelly and Hamish enjoyed the movie, but Princess Roddy and Sophia found it boring. To each their own I guess. Afterwards, the group went back home to Dianthus Hall.
