I also didn't know babies can start tummy time a litte after learning to roll on their backs and then their tummies. They can also do it in the crib of your Sim rescues them.

Oh no. Is there a possibility to ignore or cancel a midlife crisis? I would hate to be forced to divorce some of my sims couples.
You can just ignore any tasks you don't want to do. New ones regenerate as done, like party or work tasks. The more you do, the faster you work through your Midlife Crisis.
My infant just unlocked another milestone - blow kiss. It was sooooo cute, the little hand, fingers spread, and the little hearts flowing towards mama.
Found out my sims can carry a infant on their back while climbing a ladder pretty useful, since I can utilize that attic in Henford to be the baby's room. Too bad they still can't carry trash with them though.

Claim the Sim is an Alien
The second interaction on aliens is renamed to Claim the Sim is Not an Alien, even when the sim doesn't know the sim's alien identity.
What, plantsim and alien are now meant to be derogatory?
PlantSim could be construed as "vegetable" or brain-dead.

I feel like this is more of an older sibling-younger sibling prank kind of thing. Like when big brother claims little brother is actually not from the same family.
I don't know if this was happening before? If there's a fire on your sims lot the adult sims will run out of the house while the infant/toddler is still in the house. My sims dryer caught fire and the toddler was just wandering around in the kitchen while the mother sims ran out of the house.

Mine just says born-- she was born at the hospital, but a mod was also involved so I wonder if that's why.
No family for her to visit so I missed that one, didn't think to go to a park, and I saved vacation for toddlerhood thinking I'd get one then. (She didn't.)

My sim had a phone call from someone I assume was a nanny, offering her services as infants can be hard, especially if you’re a first time parent. I had to turn her down because a) this was my sim’s fifth child (albeit first infant) and the house was full, and b) one of the grandfather’s was having a stay-over for a few days 🤣🤣.

No, there isn't. But the game won't force you to divorce. Completing objectives will only shorten the time the mid-life crisis lasts.
Plus, not all mid-life crises will give your sim a "goal" to divorce. There are four types of desires:
Desire for Adventure
Desire for Creativity
Desire for Relationships
Desire for Success
So no worries in that part. However, you can't ignore or cancel a midlife crisis.
Oh, and I tested out the crocodile thing too. Still no luck getting sims pulled underwater. However, I have discovered that your sim can get an energized moodlet when they are near the bridge. Taking a walk around the pond can lead your sim there.
However, I'll stop here as I feel like I'm chasing a red herring...

My sim got the Desire for Relationships midlife crisis and one of her goals was for casual WooHoo, so not really an affair, but definitely cheating.
Did you know your child sims will have a random colored picture in their inventory from their first day of school? You can put it on the wall and they can reminisce about it. A side note, when Karmine Luna ages up, she has a man's voice. She is the child sim from the trailer.
Sims who like malicious interactions are extremely naive. They can be persuaded by a person they just met to leave their spouse. Seriously, they will never reject mean interactions. Similarly, Sims who like flirtation are very promiscuous. They will always accept romantic interactions even if they come from their ex-spouse who just cheated on them(both bars red). The new likes and dislikes are essentially like traits (and we are allowed 50 of them). They allow the player to create some pretty hilarious characters.
