@GalacticGal The next chapter is something I’m excited to share, but what I want to do is a bit tricky to pull off considering how Alex can’t exactly ask Ember out on a date. However, if Ember never calls to ask him out, I’m thinking that he can use his phone to ask her out. I did learn that sims without their voice do have the option to ask their significant others out on a date using their phone. I guess texting. 🤔
Anyways, the upcoming gameplay will be really fun regardless. I’m really looking forward to it!
@DaniRose2143 Honestly, I wish there were different kinds of best friends, not just multiple best friends. Dylan and Zeph as best friends would be different than Cecilia and Dylan/ Sefina and Zeph as best friends. Did you know that siblings that are also best friends have a unique relationship when you open their profile? I need to double check to make sure, but I’m pretty sure they get a special kind of relationship because they are brothers and best friends. It’s like how you can’t just be soulmates without a special set up with a relationship.

To be honest, the thing that got me the most frustrated with the Sims 4 was primarily the non-existent content for merfolk gameplay. Ever since I started using the Expanded Mermaids Mod from Spinning Plumbob, most of what made the gameplay feel empty nearly went away overnight. Like, words can’t express how much that mod has filled a void with the Sims 4. I have started getting some custom build mode items, like sea shell toys, and dabbling in other content for build mode and CAS, but I’m extremely happy with the merfolk gameplay now. I’ll always want more, but for now, I have so much and more that I was looking for when I was playing on the console.
I just really wish I had the experience to know how much mods could make a difference before getting invested in the console version of the game.
I’ll be honest, if you get enough packs, the console version of the game is extremely enjoyable if you don’t play using merfolk. At this point, the game is literally unplayable for me without mods because I never want to go back to the vanilla merfolk gameplay ever.
I’ve got most experience with Spellcasters.
I’ve been playing with vampires for a bit, but I feel like it takes ages for them to level up their vampire rank. One of Nigel Hardcastle’s sub-goals for his aspiration was to earn the Tamed Thirst power, which is only available at Grand Master level. He’s only recently achieved Prime Vampire level! He mastered Vampire Lore ages ago. Melanie’s aspiration is the music one so I don’t worry about her vampire rank as much.
Spellcasters take much less time to level up their rank in my experience.
Merfolk and aliens are life states that I haven’t really explored much. I’ve only ever had one Sim get abducted by aliens and it didn’t result in a pregnancy (which was just as well since I was not planning on having one!)
When I played Sims 3, I mostly played with fairies, and then also witches to a lesser extent.
The purpose of that thread is to focus on merfolk, merfolk gameplay, merfolk builds, merfolk cc, and merfolk mods. I also created that thread so I wouldn’t take over this thread with conversations about merfolk. Because I would be sharing way too much here if I did that. 😂 lol.
So, if you are interested in having merfolk in your save, it might be worth checking that thread out.
With the Expanded Mermaid Mod, there are a few new skills, Mermaid XP, Mermaid Rank, Mermaid Mythology, and Sea Sorcery. You don’t need to be a mermaid or merman to be a sea witch and level the sea sorcery skill.
Most of the skills are super easy to level though, Mermaid Rank is leveled by just doing whatever merfolk do and using their abilities. Mermaid XP simply determines when you unlock your next perk. As far as I can tell, there is no limit on the perks you can select. Mermaid Mythology is like Vampire Lore and I pretty much leveled it reading the lore books.
Of course, I wouldn’t play merfolk without the Expanded Mermaid Mod.
Vanilla Merfolk mostly just change the weather and have a few interactions they can do. Vanilla gameplay, unfortunately, doesn’t offer a lot for merfolk to explore. While you can get abducted by Aliens, merfolk won’t even try to drown your sim or do any of their mermadic interactions autonomously, even after you know merfolk exist.
I can continue a conversation about merfolk in the other thread if only to not take over this one… because I can go on and on about this topic. 😆
That does sound like a cool mod. I’ve not got any plans to include merfolk in my current saves, maybe I should think about it. Maybe one of my characters could have a little personal goal to befriend one of every occult. I don’t have the Werewolves pack, and I’m not sure if I want to get it right now. I’m not ruling them out entirely, though; I said for years that I wouldn’t get Vampires and I eventually did. I need to do a little more research into how they work first. And I’m probably going to get and explore Growing Together before Werewolves in any case since I’m big on family gameplay.
It’s not like Alex has been able to say anything in any of their interactions that could make her get so interested in him. He literally can’t say anything. I mean, maybe she likes the gestures he makes with his hands? 🤔

I've started working on the next Schemes & Dreams. I don't ask me what's going on here. I have no idea. I just dropped in on one the characters and found her doing this.
I may not know what's going on but I'm seeing some ideas for a storyline.🤣
Meanwhile I got a little bit more done on the movie sound stage/studio/thingamabob. I have a movie studio lot I downloaded from the gallery a few weeks back. It's 64x64 so it would only work on that lot up in the hills in Del Sol Valley which feels odd. But I did get some inspirations from that one and the theatre from Under The Tartosan Sun. I'm applying those inspirations to make this lot. I made a major change to the fence around the lot. Along with a new entrance. Both items it turns out are buried in Debug.

This is an ambitious build so it's going to take a few days to finish.
William and Barbara finished university yay! Both got level 8 jobs. They’re also engaged, and have moved into a new, far bigger house. I think I’ll play them for another Sim week, then wait for infants to drop. I’ll have time to get back to the Mastersons for a bit before next week.
While waiting for the infant update, I started a new household.
Meet Kainalu, he loves to fish, catch frogs, plant veggies, pet random cats, just everything about mother nature. He also dated Agatha cause she loves nature too and she's his mother's age.
One day, while walking around, he spotted a pond next to a house. He knocked on the door to ask the people living there if he could catch frogs in their pond. "Huh? No one answered. Maybe no one's home?" He sadly turned his back and started walking home, but the sight of frogs jumping on the lily pads was too tempting to ignore.
"I'm sure they won't mind a couple frogs missing." Kainalu said before jumping into the pond. But an hour later, he felt something off. Why did he suddenly hear boss music?
"Come with me before I zipzap your as*."
Kainalu got dragged inside and interrogated. "What, pray tell, are you doing crouching outside at 2AM?! Your answer better be good!" The woman shouted and pointed her wand at him. Kainalu was scared, he never met a witch before, he didn't know what was gonna happen to him, but he didn't have a good answer for her other than he's an idiot who loves frogs. So he pulled smth out of his pocket and offered it to her. "want a rose?"
Surprisingly, she accepted, and offered him a job? Turns out the witches, Jenna and Michelle, needed cheap labor to help them gather ingredients for their potions.
So that was the beginning of Kainalu's life as a witch assistant.
Other than collecting ingredients, occassionaly, he also cooks for them,
helps around their potion store,
and assists Michelle climbing down the stairs.
He has witnessed a lot of strange incidents that he doesn't even bother understanding while living with the witches, like Michelle turning green
or a glowing owl following Jenna around
But he has a lot of fun, maybe living with the witches ain't so bad after all.

Princess Roddy rushed around, making sure his camping gear was packed. Eachann wondered what was going on. Once the princess finished packing, he approached his kitten. 'Don't worry, my adorable floofball. I'll be back!' Princess Roddy said, reassuring Eachann:
Eachann purred. Princess Roddy smiled. Then he set off for the Ruins. Once he arrived, Princess Roddy set up his camping gear. Then the princess changed into his masculine sleepwear outfit and fell asleep in his portable bed, entering the dream world:
Princess Roddy played hide and seek with the visitors to his palace. A bit later, the princess woke up, feeling refreshed. He took a shower:
Afterwards, the princess changed into his masculine hot weather outfit. Then he texted his mum to let her know that he had a comfortable sleep:
Later, Princess Roddy saw Chloe Furystrykar, one of his aunts. Chloe saw the princess and smiled. Running over, she gave her eldest nephew a great, big, loving and warm hug:
'How are you, Roddy?' Chloe asked:
'I'm doing well, aunt Chloe!' Princess Roddy replied:
'That's good to hear!' Chloe said, smiling:
She gave the princess a great, big, loving hug:
And a great, big, loving smooch on his cheek:
After chatting, Chloe went back home to Elm Bungalow.

Check it out: The Expanded Mermaids mod has been updated with a fix for Gillyweed CAS parts. Sims won't have wildly stretched meshes and male sims won't have a gap at the ankles. Apologies for the delay, as the items had to be remade completely! Please redownload!

One of my many sims saves i have uh glitched out i guess- I load in the household and the father of the family is standing outside T-posing while laughing (It was a storm during this time btw) next thing i know i get a pop-up stating my female sim (His wife) was pregnant...She goes downstairs after crying (she doesn't want kids...at all, Storyline purposes) Her husband comes in terrified, screams at her (he nearly got struck by lightning) then she blurts out that she's expecting he cheers (mostly because he wants kids) while she cries again-
Oh and she ended up having Quadruplet girls-
My Legacy Family & Story Family are in one Save. Much easier...

Redirected Future, a NEW Erik Cantrell Save
Two Terms ago, Erik Cantrell knew where he was headed. His parents did caution him plans may change, feelings may change. Remind me to never speak to either of you again about my love interests. Had they not sown this seed of doubt, Erik was sorely pressed to believe he would be sitting here questioning his own intentions.
Did Kayleigh seem cool toward him, backing off, or was it only his fears coming around to haunt him? For the most part, their studies, and his gigs, kept them apart more than he desired. Sadly, not much had changed on that front. Yet, now he saw something different in her. Which was, by and large, a good change. She was extending herself, meeting other students. Reaching out. But where does that leave me? True, her eyes still lit up whenever they happened upon each other. But have your feelings changed toward me? Am I yesterday’s news?
Erik was also very troubled at just how sad she had become. He came back in one late evening from a gig and was very much surprised to see her in the ‘foyer, as if waiting for his return.
“Kayleigh, honey, why so glum? What’s wrong?”
“Oh, nothing really. Just everything. I keep losing friends as fast as I make them … And sometimes I just get so lonely.”
“What can I do to make things better? Besides reassure you I’m not going anywhere.”
“Promise? You’re my Best friend in the whole world. I love you, Erik.”
“I love you, too, Kay-Kay. With my whole heart. I will never leave you, I promise.”
“Better not be telling me another one of your Outrageous stories,” she warned.
“I’m stung. When I speak of things of the heart, I don’t exaggerate.”
“Well, in that case, come here,” she said.
“Yes, Ma’am.”
“Thank you, Ma’am, May I have another?”
“You’re insatiable.”
“I just don’t want you to be lonely.” He grinned.
Erik studied the workload ahead of him. One more term and he would be free to pursue his own life. Took long enough. Opening up the package sent to him, he saw the return address. Carefully, he withdrew the scrolled Blueprints from the 9.84252 meter cylinder to study them. He compared them to the rough sketch he had made and nodded. The Contractor had taken all that Erik described and done wonders with it. He was glad he’d shown his drawing to Kayleigh, asking her if she could change anything, what would it be?
She came back with adding a platform underneath the kitchen with one step down into the Fireplace Keeping Room. Her reasoning was sound, as this would better separate the two rooms. Erik had conveyed this to his Contractor. The Teen was well-pleased with the Blueprints. Now it was a matter of getting it built. His parent’s facilitated the purchase of the chosen land in Henford-on-Bagley, by putting Erik in touch with the Realtor at church. Yiorgos Stanonopolous. The Crew was ready to commence the work. All Erik need do, was approve the final design.
Amidst all that was ongoing, Erik slipped out one evening to release his seventh album.
Everywhere Erik went, the Paparazzi were sure to go. He came out of class one afternoon to be confronted by one. “Can you give me an Exclusive Interview, Erik?”
Erik did his best to accommodate the fellow, realizing, he also had to make a living. What the Rock Star really wanted to do was get on his homework. Before it multiplied on him and became unmanageable. “Sure,” he said.
“You are up for yet another Best Song Accolade, how does that make you feel?”
“Honored. It makes me feel honored.”
“What does your girlfriend think of all the girls that scream out for you to kiss them or hug them?”
“I’d rather not speak about my private life. Nor do I wish to drag the young lady before the press. Thank you.”
“Ah, so you do have a girlfriend. That was merely a rumor. Thanks for confirming.”
“And this interview is over. If you will excuse me, please.” Erik headed back to Wyvern Hall.
Apparently, it was his day to be confronted on differing issues. Erik barely stepped into the dorm, when Kayleigh stood before him. “You could have asked me,” she said.
“Ask you what?”
“If I wanted to go to Prom. Instead, you announced to all who had ears, you didn’t intend to go. I would have much preferred if you spoke to me in private about it, get my feelings on the matter, first. I would have agreed to skip it this time.”
“We all had a mountainous workload, especially you with Sundays no longer being yours anymore. Or so it seems. Why must you be so dang successful?”
“Come, here, I know what you need.”
“And, still you don’t ask.”
“Do I have to ask you for a kiss, now? Have the ‘rules’ suddenly changed on me? I thought I was your boyfriend.”
“Not so much fun, is it? Not being asked.”
“Saucy wench,” He muttered. Then he kissed her hard.
“See if you can pencil me in for next week,” he tossed over his shoulder as he walked off.
Moments later the elevator door slid open and Captain Drake Golden stepped in. “Daddy!” Kayleigh cried. “How wonderful to see you.”
“What brings you here?”
“Do I need a reason to see my little Kayleigh? My baby girl.”
“Daddy, in case you missed it, I’m no longer a little girl, certainly not a baby.”
“Forgive me. You are now officially a Senior at Britechester University. I cannot be more proud of you.”
Will Erik secure the bride of his dreams? Will Kayleigh throw obstacles his way? Will the press continue to pry? Stay tuned …

Here’s on update on my Local Color save, everyone aging up!
To make it up for having no cake on her birthday, Senna bought a huge wedding cake for Aeri. She loved it.
Senna aged up the next day so she made a strawberry cake for herself. Scarlett dropped by and brought Senna a birthday present. Had no idea sims can actually tell yours, Happy Birthday. Connie birthday arrived as well. On the morning off, Senna asked her what kind of cake she wanted. Connie got excited just thinking about it. She wouldn’t stop dancing that day, she was really excited. Mitchell was invited to celebrate, they spent time outside looking at the sky. He had to go home, so he missed the blowing of the candles. Aeri and Senna celebrated with her though. Love Connie’s choice of hair color. Time for the birthday hugs
Immediately after becoming a teen, Connie received a text from a classmate she’s never met inviting her to prom! She was excited, her first invite to prom and on her birthday! Unfortunately…no one was there. Connie wondered if she just got pranked.
She got over it when she went inside the school and pranked the boards. Connie is the first teen Im following to high school, it was fun to see her classmates. Interesting detail, the girl with the striped tie and dark blue dress shirt is Nora! Honestly have no idea how she’s in this save. I don’t recall ever adding her or her parents😳 Connie for some reason became sad, but her teacher was kind enough to talk her through it after class. After having lunch she went to her second class. Everyone was on their phones, so Connie did so as well. She didn’t want to be left out. I had Connie investigate Nora. What is she doing here? Nora was friendly with her. After school I went looking for home. Turns out Nora is all alone, no one is in her family tree😳 Connie found it hard to prepare for drama club and having to do her homework. She started walk around tired One day when she returned from drama club, a familiar face was waiting for her. Mitchell just aged up to a teen! He rolled the ‘hates children’ trait. OOF

Can't blow out candles on it, but it sure provides plenty of cake to go around. And Mitchell is now a Teen, too. Too bad he rolled that Hates Children trait. That can be removed, you know.
When I was Princess Roddy's age I used to like camping. Now that I'm a bit older roughing it means a hotel without room service or no at least decent restaurant within walking distance.

After seeing the map of San Sequoia with the lot sizes marked on it I was reminded that we're getting a 64x64 lot with it. While I was watching the livestream I made the decision to include San Sequoia as part of my expanded Del Sol Valley mega-world. So once I get the pack I will have a 64x64 that makes sense as a movie studio. The 64x64 in Del Sol Valley just doesn't feel right as a community lot, it's an aspirational McMansion lot overlooking 'The Land Of Make Believe'. I'm going to start over on the movie studio since I'm not that far into it. That extra space will really come in handy for some of the ideas I scrapped to make it fit on a 50x50 lot. If you liked what you saw on the 'small' lot, I think you'll love what I have in mind for the big lot. For now I'm using Houndshead in Brindleton Bay to get started on the build.
Darling Walsh's daughter is going the celebrity route to be a singer, but I have a mod that get them in trouble if they drink at a bar, she has to go see a judge and do community service for getting caught.
That's Simon Scott, Knox Greenburg and Tina Tinker as guests. William and Barbara don't actually have any friends outside their little family, but I wanted some guests there. Unfortunately the guests sounded bored the entire time the couple were exchanging their vows... so rude! If I was invited to the wedding of a couple I didn't know well, I wouldn't spend the ceremony moaning *eyeroll* I also invited Sara Scott but she disappeared off the lot...
They did enjoy the cake, though. Go figure. (To be fair, cake is cake).

To be honest, the thing that got me the most frustrated with the Sims 4 was primarily the non-existent content for merfolk gameplay. Ever since I started using the Expanded Mermaids Mod from Spinning Plumbob, most of what made the gameplay feel empty nearly went away overnight. Like, words can’t express how much that mod has filled a void with the Sims 4. I have started getting some custom build mode items, like sea shell toys, and dabbling in other content for build mode and CAS, but I’m extremely happy with the merfolk gameplay now. I’ll always want more, but for now, I have so much and more that I was looking for when I was playing on the console.
I just really wish I had the experience to know how much mods could make a difference before getting invested in the console version of the game.
I’ll be honest, if you get enough packs, the console version of the game is extremely enjoyable if you don’t play using merfolk. At this point, the game is literally unplayable for me without mods because I never want to go back to the vanilla merfolk gameplay ever.
I’ve been playing with vampires for a bit, but I feel like it takes ages for them to level up their vampire rank. One of Nigel Hardcastle’s sub-goals for his aspiration was to earn the Tamed Thirst power, which is only available at Grand Master level. He’s only recently achieved Prime Vampire level! He mastered Vampire Lore ages ago. Melanie’s aspiration is the music one so I don’t worry about her vampire rank as much.
Spellcasters take much less time to level up their rank in my experience.
Merfolk and aliens are life states that I haven’t really explored much. I’ve only ever had one Sim get abducted by aliens and it didn’t result in a pregnancy (which was just as well since I was not planning on having one!)
When I played Sims 3, I mostly played with fairies, and then also witches to a lesser extent.

The purpose of that thread is to focus on merfolk, merfolk gameplay, merfolk builds, merfolk cc, and merfolk mods. I also created that thread so I wouldn’t take over this thread with conversations about merfolk. Because I would be sharing way too much here if I did that. 😂 lol.
So, if you are interested in having merfolk in your save, it might be worth checking that thread out.
With the Expanded Mermaid Mod, there are a few new skills, Mermaid XP, Mermaid Rank, Mermaid Mythology, and Sea Sorcery. You don’t need to be a mermaid or merman to be a sea witch and level the sea sorcery skill.
Most of the skills are super easy to level though, Mermaid Rank is leveled by just doing whatever merfolk do and using their abilities. Mermaid XP simply determines when you unlock your next perk. As far as I can tell, there is no limit on the perks you can select. Mermaid Mythology is like Vampire Lore and I pretty much leveled it reading the lore books.
Of course, I wouldn’t play merfolk without the Expanded Mermaid Mod.
Vanilla Merfolk mostly just change the weather and have a few interactions they can do. Vanilla gameplay, unfortunately, doesn’t offer a lot for merfolk to explore. While you can get abducted by Aliens, merfolk won’t even try to drown your sim or do any of their mermadic interactions autonomously, even after you know merfolk exist.
I can continue a conversation about merfolk in the other thread if only to not take over this one… because I can go on and on about this topic. 😆

Meanwhile I got a little bit more done on the movie sound stage/studio/thingamabob. I have a movie studio lot I downloaded from the gallery a few weeks back. It's 64x64 so it would only work on that lot up in the hills in Del Sol Valley which feels odd. But I did get some inspirations from that one and the theatre from Under The Tartosan Sun. I'm applying those inspirations to make this lot. I made a major change to the fence around the lot. Along with a new entrance. Both items it turns out are buried in Debug.

This is an ambitious build so it's going to take a few days to finish.
Meet Kainalu, he loves to fish, catch frogs, plant veggies, pet random cats, just everything about mother nature. He also dated Agatha cause she loves nature too and she's his mother's age.
One day, while walking around, he spotted a pond next to a house. He knocked on the door to ask the people living there if he could catch frogs in their pond. "Huh? No one answered. Maybe no one's home?" He sadly turned his back and started walking home, but the sight of frogs jumping on the lily pads was too tempting to ignore.
"I'm sure they won't mind a couple frogs missing." Kainalu said before jumping into the pond. But an hour later, he felt something off. Why did he suddenly hear boss music?
"Come with me before I zipzap your as*."
Kainalu got dragged inside and interrogated. "What, pray tell, are you doing crouching outside at 2AM?! Your answer better be good!" The woman shouted and pointed her wand at him. Kainalu was scared, he never met a witch before, he didn't know what was gonna happen to him, but he didn't have a good answer for her other than he's an idiot who loves frogs. So he pulled smth out of his pocket and offered it to her. "want a rose?"
Surprisingly, she accepted, and offered him a job? Turns out the witches, Jenna and Michelle, needed cheap labor to help them gather ingredients for their potions.
So that was the beginning of Kainalu's life as a witch assistant.

'That's good to hear!' Chloe said, smiling:
She gave the princess a great, big, loving hug:

He entered the dream world, and watered the flowers in his royal gardens. Afterwards, he explored the forest that surrounded his palace. It was peaceful.

The pair then caught up. Afterwards, Princess Roddy went into his bedroom and showered Eachann with affection. And then he brushed his kitten's fur.

Check it out: The Expanded Mermaids mod has been updated with a fix for Gillyweed CAS parts. Sims won't have wildly stretched meshes and male sims won't have a gap at the ankles. Apologies for the delay, as the items had to be remade completely!

Two Terms ago, Erik Cantrell knew where he was headed. His parents did caution him plans may change, feelings may change. Remind me to never speak to either of you again about my love interests. Had they not sown this seed of doubt, Erik was sorely pressed to believe he would be sitting here questioning his own intentions.
Did Kayleigh seem cool toward him, backing off, or was it only his fears coming around to haunt him? For the most part, their studies, and his gigs, kept them apart more than he desired. Sadly, not much had changed on that front. Yet, now he saw something different in her. Which was, by and large, a good change. She was extending herself, meeting other students. Reaching out. But where does that leave me? True, her eyes still lit up whenever they happened upon each other. But have your feelings changed toward me? Am I yesterday’s news?
Erik was also very troubled at just how sad she had become. He came back in one late evening from a gig and was very much surprised to see her in the ‘foyer, as if waiting for his return.
“Oh, nothing really. Just everything. I keep losing friends as fast as I make them … And sometimes I just get so lonely.”
“What can I do to make things better? Besides reassure you I’m not going anywhere.”
“Promise? You’re my Best friend in the whole world. I love you, Erik.”
“I love you, too, Kay-Kay. With my whole heart. I will never leave you, I promise.”
“Better not be telling me another one of your Outrageous stories,” she warned.
“I’m stung. When I speak of things of the heart, I don’t exaggerate.”

Erik studied the workload ahead of him. One more term and he would be free to pursue his own life. Took long enough. Opening up the package sent to him, he saw the return address. Carefully, he withdrew the scrolled Blueprints from the 9.84252 meter cylinder to study them. He compared them to the rough sketch he had made and nodded. The Contractor had taken all that Erik described and done wonders with it. He was glad he’d shown his drawing to Kayleigh, asking her if she could change anything, what would it be?
She came back with adding a platform underneath the kitchen with one step down into the Fireplace Keeping Room. Her reasoning was sound, as this would better separate the two rooms. Erik had conveyed this to his Contractor. The Teen was well-pleased with the Blueprints. Now it was a matter of getting it built. His parent’s facilitated the purchase of the chosen land in Henford-on-Bagley, by putting Erik in touch with the Realtor at church. Yiorgos Stanonopolous. The Crew was ready to commence the work. All Erik need do, was approve the final design.
Everywhere Erik went, the Paparazzi were sure to go. He came out of class one afternoon to be confronted by one. “Can you give me an Exclusive Interview, Erik?”
Erik did his best to accommodate the fellow, realizing, he also had to make a living. What the Rock Star really wanted to do was get on his homework. Before it multiplied on him and became unmanageable. “Sure,” he said.
“You are up for yet another Best Song Accolade, how does that make you feel?”
“Honored. It makes me feel honored.”
“What does your girlfriend think of all the girls that scream out for you to kiss them or hug them?”
“I’d rather not speak about my private life. Nor do I wish to drag the young lady before the press. Thank you.”
“Ah, so you do have a girlfriend. That was merely a rumor. Thanks for confirming.”
“And this interview is over. If you will excuse me, please.” Erik headed back to Wyvern Hall.
Apparently, it was his day to be confronted on differing issues. Erik barely stepped into the dorm, when Kayleigh stood before him. “You could have asked me,” she said.
“Ask you what?”
“We all had a mountainous workload, especially you with Sundays no longer being yours anymore. Or so it seems. Why must you be so dang successful?”
“Come, here, I know what you need.”
“And, still you don’t ask.”
“Do I have to ask you for a kiss, now? Have the ‘rules’ suddenly changed on me? I thought I was your boyfriend.”
“Not so much fun, is it? Not being asked.”
“Saucy wench,” He muttered. Then he kissed her hard.
“See if you can pencil me in for next week,” he tossed over his shoulder as he walked off.
Moments later the elevator door slid open and Captain Drake Golden stepped in. “Daddy!” Kayleigh cried. “How wonderful to see you.”
“What brings you here?”
“Do I need a reason to see my little Kayleigh? My baby girl.”
“Daddy, in case you missed it, I’m no longer a little girl, certainly not a baby.”
“Forgive me. You are now officially a Senior at Britechester University. I cannot be more proud of you.”

After seeing the map of San Sequoia with the lot sizes marked on it I was reminded that we're getting a 64x64 lot with it. While I was watching the livestream I made the decision to include San Sequoia as part of my expanded Del Sol Valley mega-world. So once I get the pack I will have a 64x64 that makes sense as a movie studio. The 64x64 in Del Sol Valley just doesn't feel right as a community lot, it's an aspirational McMansion lot overlooking 'The Land Of Make Believe'. I'm going to start over on the movie studio since I'm not that far into it. That extra space will really come in handy for some of the ideas I scrapped to make it fit on a 50x50 lot. If you liked what you saw on the 'small' lot, I think you'll love what I have in mind for the big lot. For now I'm using Houndshead in Brindleton Bay to get started on the build.
That's Simon Scott, Knox Greenburg and Tina Tinker as guests. William and Barbara don't actually have any friends outside their little family, but I wanted some guests there. Unfortunately the guests sounded bored the entire time the couple were exchanging their vows... so rude! If I was invited to the wedding of a couple I didn't know well, I wouldn't spend the ceremony moaning *eyeroll* I also invited Sara Scott but she disappeared off the lot...
They did enjoy the cake, though. Go figure. (To be fair, cake is cake).
