I've been thinking about doing things like that since I have so many actresses in my stories. That would be harder but a lot more fun than going to the active career studio lot. And with the Maxis studio lot and active career you can't control who's in the cast.🤔 In the immortal words of Gru...Light! bulb!💡 I think I might have to build my own lot where I can act out movies! I know where I can find a 50x50 lot in Oasis Springs that would make a nice movie studio.

@GalacticGal When my mother was at school, there was a period where she had Maths first thing on a Monday AND first thing on a Tuesday! She struggled with it so it wasn't much fun for her. Thankfully school is also several decades ago for her.
Artemis is quite a smart young woman, so enjoys subjects like Maths and Science, but even she would probably agree that having it first thing on a Monday isn't the greatest idea, especially as you're still a little tired from the weekend.

I sent Erytheia and Xanthe to the Cheerleading event on Friday, although it was kind of pointless as there was no competition judge *eyeroll* But there were still plenty of teenagers around, so there was some socialising, and Erytheia was happy because Alexander was there. The twins had fun doing a group routine... sadly Xanthe (in the yellow top) didn't land her somersault successfully...

While this update seems like it's the end for Alexander Goth, he's telling the story. He does get a happy ending. I wish I could say the same for Mortimer.
Well my game has been quite an soap opera today 🤣 , my family the Baker family have had 2 deaths, before my game today a had a family of 7 and a cat, it consisted of an grandpa ( the fathers dad) , aunt ( the mothers vampire sister), mother, father and 2 children a son and daughter, the grandpa and aunt are married and have a spellcaster teen daughter aswell, the mother and father are now deceased with their tombstones in the family home back garden 🤣 the grandpa and aunt are now raising their grandchildren/ niece/ nephew, yes its a very complicated family tree 🤣, their house is also haunted before the parents died, the teen graduated from high school early and have applied to university, her vampire mother is having an affair with caelb ( one of the vampire siblings shipped with vampires pack) he keeps coming to the door standing at the window and the vampire mother has got a flirty relationship with the Grim reaper lol
Ps I can't wait until John Jr becomes a teen, he's going to be turned into a werewolf

I don't have much experience with Doctor Who other than watching a couple episodes on YT. However, I did do the Time Lord Challenge with a Time Lady, The Artist, in 2015. It's a fun challenge, but I only made it to Third Artist before I put it on hiatus. I understand completely about posing and taking photographs. I've used Andrew's pose player for some updates in my own challenge last year. They ended up being some of my all-time favorite updates during the challenge.
Great shot with the bunny and Jack while weeding the pumpkin he later sold. Oh, Grim...darnit! Very sweet of Jack to bring a rose and the previous flower seeds to Ianto. Breaks my heart Owen doesn't care about Mikkel the same as the little alien does for him. I think Mikkel knows what Owen has been up to all along since I'm guessing he has telepathic capabilities.
Glad they had a nice evening out to dinner together. I think that's the first smile I've seen on Owen's face. Uh...okay, Owen what the heck? o.O The ending with the aliens is so sinister and creepy. I'm not surprised Owen is in cahoots with them to get rid of Mikkel. The question is, will be really go through with it? I guess we shall see...

Love all the different animations actor Sims can do, they are handy for storytelling. Weird how Olivia just showed up to scream at Scarlett and Aeri watching a movie. I wonder what her problem was. Whew! Good thing she rode inside to avoid the meteor. o.O This is one time riding a bike inside was probably a good thing eh?

P.1108 Thank you, haha yes! The game truly imitates real life at times😆 Am glad Senna escaped the meteor too, not sure what I would’ve done if she got killed. Funny thing I’ve been trying to get the meteor death in a completely different save for weeks and nothing, and yet Senna was going to get it so quickly.

Haha, honestly the more messed up Owen gets, the more invested I become in playing with him. And ahh, I haven't really thought of Lilo and Stitch, but it might've been somewhere in the back of my head since I love that movie. The aliens there were much less frightening and intimidating though, and Mikkel isn't as messy as Stitch. He's a surprisingly well behaved alien!

Sidenote, Mitchell is absolutely adorable, him and Connie forming a friendship is too cute for words. I just love all of those cute toddler interactions And how sweet did Connie grew up!
Thank you for the comment! Owen is certainly a complicated sim, but he believes he's making the right decision. The aliens are a threat to their sim world, but they might leave if their offspring is returned. So what shall it be, one single child, or the entire planet? In Owen's eyes, this is a necessary sacrifice. Problem is, he isn't even thinking of finding an alternative way.
Yup, the baddies already showed up and apprently have been hanging out for quite a while around We'll just have to wait and see what happens to Mikkel!

There surely is a possibility that Mikkel might know everything planned Or he's just very empathetic and can sense that something is wrong, yet not really pinpoint what exactly. As for Owen's motivation, well... He thinks he's saving the world, that's all!

I'll have to do it. I don't have a choice. Those aliens- they got way too many information out of Jack while he was held captive. Codes, passwords, secret agency locations. They have EVERYTHING on our planet. They can hack into any system, take control of any army, really, they can simply drop a meteorite on us. They won't care. All they care about is winning. And winning means taking Mikkel. So... we should give him out, right? It's just logic. Math. There is no other way.
I can't believe Jack's oblivious to this. I get Ianto, that puppy-eyed sly little fox held his vampire girlfriend in our basement for ages because apparently love beats common sense, but Jack? I mean, that guy is brutal. He sacrificed his grandson to save the world. He'd throw any of us in the pit,-well, not Ianto, but anyone besides Ianto-because that's what our job is. Saving the world, even if the cost is our loved ones. Why is it different with Mikkel?
I've got so many children to work with. I hate it.

No problem, Your story is very well written. Great update, it sheds more light on Owen’s situation. It's not easy for him, but he doesn’t want to purposely be the bad guy. But someone has too. I’m hoping there’s a better way though. 😭Ah Mikkel, adorable as always. The baby chick🥰 so cute!
Great ending, nicely written as well. Sad ending for Mortimer but Max is alive and he became a Mersim. I enjoyed the evil sea witch, he’s very calm and sinister. Shame Max cannot visit or remember his family, but he has a new family🙂 Very nice chapter.
Got an update on The Boys and Nora this time:
The Boys and Nora arrived to their rental lot in Granite Falls just before it became evening.
It was long trip for Nora. She became sleepy along the way. Warner changed her into her pajamas and left her to nap. It was a little late to go exploring so Justin invited Warner and Aaron to game of “Don’t Wake the Llama”. Aaron tried his best to be careful. It didn’t work He became sad and after a couple of more rounds he stopped playing. He found the telescope outside more interesting. With Aaron outside, Justin and Warner turned to a game of cards. Warner couldn’t say no to Justins offer of a bet. Warner was confident he’d win. Unfortunately for him, his hand of cards were not looking to good. After a couple of rounds Warner gave up. He left to take a shower while Justin laid on the ground outside staring up at the stars. Aaron spent hours staring through the telescope. Warner woke Nora up from her sleep to give her some food. From the looks of it, Nora said the bad word again😂 “Where’d you learn that from?” Warner asked. Nora simply laughed. She really enjoy’s seeing everyones reaction to the word, so silly Nora.
Their stay so far was starting off great. Justin and Aaron rested in their room.
After eating Nora went back to sleep. Warner stepped outside to enjoy the quiet night, but the mosquitoes weren’t letting him have it😭 He decided to just go inside and sleep. In the morning Justin was fighting with the pan to make some eggs. Nora climbed out of her bed the very second Warner entered to wake her up. Before going to explore had breakfast and played a game of horseshoes. Aaron and Nora played with the water sprinkler. “Okay Nora, just do what I do” Aaron told her. Nora learned quickly. In the mean time Colette was invited by Julie to go to a spa that recently opened up. She couldn’t say no to a visit to the spa. Especially when its been years since the last time she’s been to one. Immediately after arriving Julie left. Maybe she just wanted to tell Colette this place existed?🤔 It was very clear that it had just opened. The masseur had little experience or knowledge of their services. When Colette inquired about the massage packages available, he had no idea what they were. “I believe one of them is the fertility massage—“ he began and immediately Colette cut him off. “Yeah, no. Just a stone massage should do”. He began her massage. It wasn’t the best massage but she wasn’t about to ask him to do it again. Instead Colette went for a hand massage. This sim knew what they were doing. It brought back memories to the time she got a hand massage after her first day at work as an attorney. Good times🥲 Before leaving Colette got a manicure done. Colette was happy overall with her visit. As a high maintenance sim being at the spa was like a kid in a candy store for her.
After having their fun the boys and Nora went to explore Granite Falls.
Aaron and Warner found a mysterious rock. Nora wasn’t really interested in that. After some walking they found a fishing area. “Stay away from the water Nora” Warner warned her. Justin found a cabin and read books in peace. Since she wasn’t allowed to fish or be near the water, Nora went exploring on her own. She found a trowel while playing inside some a plant. She realized it wasn’t a toy and threw it away, phew. 😮💨 She continued her own exploration. She found other sims around. At this point Warner realized Nora was missing and went searching for her. Who knew being a toddler made it incredibly easy to befriend a celebrity 😳😂 “Did your parent lose you?” Brytani Cho asked. Nora didn't understand her, she just showed off her toy to her. Not sure what Nora told her, but she got a laugh out of it. Was it the bad word?😅
Looks like everyone is having fun except for Warner there at the end. Thank goodness a nice celebrity just happened to be wandering around in the forest right then.😆

I've read through your recent update, and I love Bunga's bakery! Hopefully the bakery becomes profitable enough so she can quit her day job. It's always nice to work for yourself— yet it's a huge challenge! Oooh, spicy love affairs. Love the drama! I also love all of the wedding cakes. I would highly recommend producing your own shows, plays, musicals, etc. in the sims! It's just nice to have full control and make your own vision come to life. I know you're a builder, so definitely build a studio to meet your needs and your heart's desire! I will add that I downloaded a performing arts center from the gallery, I think it's called "Performing Arts Center" by Schnuck01, in case you're interested.

Haha oh dear, not me misspelling "Lilo & Stitch"..yikes, let's pretend my spelling was perfectly on par. Yes, the Holdens did have a great vacation! However, I realized every time my sims go to Selvadorada and do some exploring, they always have some sort of tragedy happen. For instance, Darla got attacked by some sort of fire flies that got caught on fire, Wade had those spiders constantly landing on him, Keaton also suffered those spider attacks, and Dallas got acne okay, not a Selvadorada thing, but to a teenage girl, that's tragic!
As for your update— oh my gosh! I read the beginning, smiled, and sunk down into my pillow. I was so excited to read more into Owen's thoughts about the current situation! He's really found himself in quite a predicament. I know he's kind of messed up, but I cannot help but feel for him and what he's facing. I literally love all of your characters; Jack's sweetness, Ianto's thoughtfulness, and Mikkel's cuteness (obvi!), but it's Owen's personality that has me truly intrigued. I cannot wait to see what you share next!

@mightysprite Max and Alexander Goth are the same person. Lol. It’s just that Alex can’t quite piece together his past anymore. His old life ended, and now he’s got a new life as a merman. So, for Alexander, his “imagination” and his “dreams” are the product of memories he can’t recognize as being him. For Alexander, he’s telling his little brothers and cousins a story, and he just can’t recognize that it’s his story, his past. The pieces just can’t line up in his mind. His story is just an echo, a remnant of what once was.
Edit; And that echo becomes more distant, out of reach for Alex, as time goes on. He’s slowly becoming more and more separated from his life as a human, but that’s what it took to save him.
Second edit: You could say that Alexander Goth passed away and he’s becoming Alexander Zalrian. He’s developing a new identity. The same person, but somewhat different at the same time.

Chapter Twenty: Being a Teenager
I didn't get a photo of Artemis in her formal gear, so here's a fun goofy selfie! I decided she could "wear contact lenses" as having her usual glasses on made her look middle aged
I don't have much experience with Doctor Who other than watching a couple episodes on YT. However, I did do the Time Lord Challenge with a Time Lady, The Artist, in 2015. It's a fun challenge, but I only made it to Third Artist before I put it on hiatus. I understand completely about posing and taking photographs. I've used Andrew's pose player for some updates in my own challenge last year. They ended up being some of my all-time favorite updates during the challenge.
Great shot with the bunny and Jack while weeding the pumpkin he later sold.
Glad they had a nice evening out to dinner together. I think that's the first smile I've seen on Owen's face. Uh...okay, Owen what the heck? o.O The ending with the aliens is so sinister and creepy. I'm not surprised Owen is in cahoots with them to get rid of Mikkel. The question is, will be really go through with it? I guess we shall see...

Happy Birthday Connie! She's just as cute as a child! Funny how Senna thought something was wrong with the recycling machine. Don't blame her, that block of stuff all squished together looks weird. HAHA Funny how she destroyed the dew collector in retaliation. Sweet how Connie showed up and Aeri helped give her confidence to join the Drama club.
Love all the different animations actor Sims can do, they are handy for storytelling.

Update 22- Wow the Villa looks amazing! Very nicely decorated. The scenery looks beautiful🤩 Aw Dallas’ mother taught her rumbasim. Lots of great shots! Oh no, her mother got some rashes😭 LOL that Dallas shared that pic. Her father and brother look great in their outfits. Haha taking the picture before helping your mom😭 Looks like they had an awesome time…well most of them.😅

Read through your thread and woah, everyone's relationships are so complicated and intriguing. I love when things escalate from a challenge to a whole blown-out drama! Sidenote, Mitchell is absolutely adorable, him and Connie forming a friendship is too cute for words. I just love all of those cute toddler interactions

It's Owen's day at work (he got promoted, yay!), and we are going to delve deep into his thoughts!
I'll have to do it. I don't have a choice. Those aliens- they got way too many information out of Jack while he was held captive. Codes, passwords, secret agency locations. They have EVERYTHING on our planet. They can hack into any system, take control of any army, really, they can simply drop a meteorite on us. They won't care. All they care about is winning. And winning means taking Mikkel. So... we should give him out, right? It's just logic. Math. There is no other way.
I can't believe Jack's oblivious to this. I get Ianto, that puppy-eyed sly little fox held his vampire girlfriend in our basement for ages because apparently love beats common sense, but Jack? I mean, that guy is brutal. He sacrificed his grandson to save the world. He'd throw any of us in the pit,-well, not Ianto, but anyone besides Ianto-because that's what our job is. Saving the world, even if the cost is our loved ones. Why is it different with Mikkel?
I've got so many children to work with. I hate it.
They all smile at me and do whatever I tell them to do, because I'm their doctor. They trust me. They don't know what a monster I really am.
I hate... I hate that they've put this responsibility on me.
Sometimes I wish I could be like them. Ignorant.

Their stay so far was starting off great. Justin and Aaron rested in their room.

As for your update— oh my gosh! I read the beginning, smiled, and sunk down into my pillow. I was so excited to read more into Owen's thoughts about the current situation! He's really found himself in quite a predicament. I know he's kind of messed up, but I cannot help but feel for him and what he's facing. I literally love all of your characters; Jack's sweetness, Ianto's thoughtfulness, and Mikkel's cuteness (obvi!), but it's Owen's personality that has me truly intrigued. I cannot wait to see what you share next!

Edit; And that echo becomes more distant, out of reach for Alex, as time goes on. He’s slowly becoming more and more separated from his life as a human, but that’s what it took to save him.
Second edit: You could say that Alexander Goth passed away and he’s becoming Alexander Zalrian. He’s developing a new identity. The same person, but somewhat different at the same time.
