@DaniRose2143 I'm happy to hear you liked my update! Both Harvestfest and Winterfest are my fav holidays in game purely because of all the family moments, love, and joy that spreads around. I totally agree, Dallas could have handled what happened during the cheer competition poorly, but she handled it with grace. Ahh, yes! Sleepovers are like a rite of passage, especially with teenage girls!
Quite a bit has happened in my game. It all took place within a week! My sims were busy!

So Eliza and Bob finally called it quits and divorced so she and Thomas moved into together. They now live in Brindleton Bay.
Eliza was celebrating Love Day with a nice quiet rose petal bath before she met up with Thomas on the beach.
When she met up with Thomas on the beach he asked her to marry him! She said yes!
It was the day before the wedding and Eliza got a bridal treatment at the spa.
Wedding day, Ivan and Billy took some fun photos together while all dressed up. They are so cute and it is amazing to watch them grow up.
The wedding was beautiful! I am so happy for my babies! Introducing Thomas and Eliza Watson!

While on Honeymoon things really get wild and no its not what you are thinking. Lol!

Thank you! The pre-prom gatherings happen at random venues. This one just happened to be at my sim self's daughter Ayla's house, the teens all liked the hot tub as it was a warm Summers day!
I like Ianto's demeanor in avoiding conflicts and confrontations. Not always easy to do, but I'm sure it helps keep the peace in the household.
Ohh, okay, I misread the century, I didn't see the 1 there. Opps! Must be tough for him going back to such a 'primitive' time in history. Curious if he plans to try to change any major events and how exactly he ended up in that time period at all. He kind of sounds like Dr. Who in how he's immortal and can time travel. Does he always look like himself again when he comes back?
Ah I see, Owen is clinging to the old ways and fears he'll end up alone since Jack and Ianto have changed and he hasn't. No wonder he sees Mikkel as a threat since he was the catalyst to all the changes in their lives. Plus, the fact he's an alien which before they all hated and tried to wipe out their existence.
I feel bad for Owen, sounds like he got the shortest end of the stick all around. Some people are just very resistant to change and dig in to the way things were in the past rather than try to adapt. I'm sure it galls him since he didn't ask for any of it. It'll be interesting to watch his progression and if he's somehow able to adapt over time...or not. o.O
A little side trip for all of them. Oh boy, did not turn out very well at all. I thought the kids were getting along great at first, but unfortunately, nope. Poor Mikkel having to deal with all those rude judgmental comments from those kids and their parents. I don't blame him for wanting to go home. Glad he at least enjoyed petting the dog before they left. Sheesh, that entire family is so judgmental. I would say it's a good bet they won't be visiting them again.
Good idea with the marshmallows. How are they blue though? Just a lighting issue or a Mod? Anyway, oh, I missed that for some reason, you're right though Ianto, Owen did defend Mikkel! Although he still doesn't like Mikkel on the surface, I think somewhere deep inside, a little ember is beginning to spark for Owen in relation to Mikkel. Or maybe he just defended Mikkel to keep in good graces with Ianto and Jack. Perhaps a bit of both, we shall see. Love the photo wall! Always have my Sims learn the photography skill and displays their work too. It just makes their home seem more realistic and cozy that way. Helps with immersion I believe.

I spent some time on your blog checking out the story. I didn't read all of it, but enough to understand more what's going on. I see what you mean about the quality improving over time. I noticed it mostly with the screenshots though once you began to use a shader.
I see a lot of Simmers using shaders, but I usually don't care much for the overdone very dark contrast. Especially when showcasing a build. A little is helpful I'll admit, I boost it myself sometimes. But just a smidge in PS, I've never tried a shader. However, it appears you mostly enjoy it for the blurred background effect which works well for your gameplay story screenshots.
I'm looking forward to reading your current updates more now that I know a bit more about their backgrounds and personalities which led to where they are now.
hehe Love the faces our Sims pull when playing video games, cracks me up every time! I had a lot of fun with the poses in front of that photo op screen. I haven't played Norah again since the last chapter so I don't know if she finished in time before Duane left. Hopefully I'll get a chance to play later tonight and have something to post tomorrow.
Glad it went so well with Aeri and Olivia. Very awkward though with Scarlett showing up to confront her. I wondered at first if they were sisters or cousins or something because of the hair. Glad Senna agreed to quit her job and be a stay-at-home Mom. I'm sure she'll be much less stressed now. Great update!
Great update with Warner, Colette and Nora. Pretty detailed sand sculptures for a toddler to make, great job Nora, you're a natural! hehe Peas, easy peasy, oh come on Nora, that was funny. Love all the sweet (and somewhat devious) expressions on her face. Aww, how cute Nora gets to go on a trip with the guys. She'll certainly make the trip even more fun.
Curious how it works for you, let me know. I'm guessing the only reason she wasn't wearing the graduation gown is because she graduated early and those photos only show their every day outfit to denote that fact. Yes, it's a great mod! Thanks again for the info about it and the download link.

It's actually by Maxis, called Library Escape. It uses the Kids Room stuff pack, and it's an upgrade of Willow Creek's library.
The only thing I have done to the Maxis build is replace the nasty uncomfortable Ambassador toilets with the unbreakable 'Sweet Escapes Country Toilet'. (Seriously, I have checked. It still has that unbreakable tuning tag when I viewed it through Sims 4 Studio's warehouse mode.)

Ianto surely is the peacekeeper of the household Always polite, always correct, always trying his best to make everyone feel alright. He also gets most of the little things done around the house, seeing as Owen is working a lot and Jack is busy with Mikkel.
Jack actually indeed is from the Doctor Who universe-they all are! From the spinoff called Torchwood. I've done a few generations of Doctor's regeneration and got a bit tired of playing as him, so I decided to switch over to Captain Jack Jarkness. The Doctor is still hanging out somewhere in the world (he ditched Jack a while ago, and Jack is still very much in love with him, hoping one day he'll return). He's the reason Jack is immortal.
Yeah, Owen surely isn't coping well with everything going on He fears of losing what he still has, but he's lost so much already that sometimes it doesn't seem to matter. Perhaps he'll adapt, or... Well, this particular update is about that.
Oh my, the marshmallows really do look blue, don't they! Looks like a lightning glitch. Suppose it suits them to eat alien marshmallows And yes indeed, I've got photobugs all over me now! I'm resisting as much as I can, though-wayyyy too time consuming But they turn out so cute, how can I say no to a couple more? Lol

Fact about Ianto Jones: Ianto Jones is an old-fashioned gentleman at heart. And Ianto Jones loves flowers. So Jack bought him a bunch of different flowers to start his own little garden.
Mikkel came around. Usually very cheerful and bubbly, he was surprisingly tense all day. What could possibly be wrong?
"Mikkel needs kisses too!"
Problem solved!
...Or not. At bedtime he became unhappy again.
"And they all lived happily ever after. The end!"
"Jack?" Mikkel called.
"Mm?"
"...Nevermind. Mikkel's words won't make human sense. But Mikkel loves you, Jack. And Ianto. And Owen."
"Oh, we love you too, Mikkel."
"Mikkel really loves Owen!"
That's very sweet," Jack smiled softly and sighed: it seemed so unfair that Mikkel was so fond of Owen, yet Owen hasn't shown any glimpse of liking him back.
"So he's your favourite dad, huh?" Jack chuckled.
"Mikkel doesn't have favourites. Mikkel just hopes Owen knows."
"I'll pass on the message."
"Thank you, Jack. Mikkel going to sleep now, Jack. Goodnight, Jack."
"Good... goodnight, Mikkel," Jack answered after a pause. What was up with Mikkel?
Anyway, Mikkel went to bed early for a good reason: Owen, Jack and Ianto were heading out on a date night to the local restaurant!
"Good evening, sir. A table for three, please!"
The receptionist certainly looks interesting.
"Can we please have..."
After ordering the food, the throuple chatted and discussed various light-hearted topics.
Jokes, casual flirting, sweet messages. A perfect night with no drama involved!
Even Owen is allowing himself to smile.
Until Jack brought up Mikkel, that is.
"So Mikkel was acting a bit weird today at bedtime..."
"Uhm, Jack. Can this please be a children-free night?" Owen muttered.
“As if parents ever get a break from their children,” Ianto tried to joke out of the situation that could potentially ruin the night, but Jack was determined.
"Really, guys, this is something we should discuss, also somehow I think it involves you, Owen..."
“Hey, I haven’t said a single bad word to him the entire last week. I call that an improvement.”
“Yes, but-”
"Oh look, the food is here!" Owen yelled out.
Food fixes everything. No time to argue, time to eat!
“The coffee here is… tolerable. There is room to improve though, to say the least.”
“Oh, like any coffee besides your own could be perfect to you!”
“That’s true, but I still feel like they could’ve tried a little bit better…”
“Dunno, I’m perfectly happy with my drink!”
“As long as it’s foamy, you’ll drink anything standing in front of you, Owen…”
They returned home quite late that night. Tired, exhausted, and yet incredibly flirty.
“So guys, what about uh… “relaxing”? Ianto?”
“Oh yes, relaxing. Definitely up for some relaxing.”
“Thought you were,” Jack chuckled. “Owen?”
“Nah, I’m too sleepy. You go have fun.”
He stood aside with a tight-lip smile, watching as Jack and Ianto, giggling and pushing each other like teenagers, headed in the house.
As soon the door closed, he turned away and sighed. He loved them more than anything in the world.
And sometimes loving them meant making sacrifices.
Sacrificing their love for him.
“What are you doing here!?” Owen whispered angrily at the two aliens, watching from afar.
“We are done waiting. Where is the offspring?”
“I can’t just hand him over to you in plain sight, I need Jack and Ianto to be out! They’re always home, what can I do about it?”
“Foolish human,” one of the aliens said in such a emotionless tone that chills went down Owen’s spine immediately. “We gave you plenty of time to solve that issue and we are running out of the feeling you call patience. If the experimental offspring K2049 won’t be on our ship within forty-eight hours, your planet will suffer consequences. And so will the experimental parent who dared escape.”
“Alright… Alright,” Owen quietened down with a sigh. “Look, I’ll try my best, alright? I can’t promise, but I’ll try. But you can’t touch Jack. Or Ianto. And I mean it when I say it. If you harm them in any way, your precious little offspring is dead. And... I need a guarantee. A promise, that when you get your experiment back, you’ll leave this planet-and all of us-alone. Got it?”
The alien didn’t reply. And yet even without a clear promise, Owen knew he'll do it anyway. What other choice did he have?
Eachann came into Shelly Heart's bedroom. Shelly Heart smiled. 'Hello Eachann!' she said, gently picking the kitten up. Eachann purred. Shelly gave him a loving smooch on the top of his head:
Eachann nuzzled Shelly. Shelly carefully put the kitten back on the ground. Then Eachann went back into his owner's bedroom. Princess Roddy smiled and knelt down:
Then he stroked Eachann:
Later, Benjamin came in. 'Hello dad!' Princess Roddy said, smiling. 'Hello Roddy!' Benjamin replied. He gave his firstborn son a loving hug:

Afterwards, Benjamin went into Sophia's bedroom and gave his daughter a loving hug:

Then Benjamin went into Hamish's bedroom and gave him a loving hug:

Benjamin then checked on his bees:
Benjamin noticed a foul smell emanating from the beehive. 'Looks like it's time to clean your home, your highness!' Benjamin said. Carefully taking each section of the hive out, he started to clean the hive, removing all the waste. In no time at all, Benjamin had a spotless hive.
Benjamin put the sections back into the hive and watched as the queen and her worker bees happily buzzed around. Benjamin loved his bees.
Visiting Cordelia Thebe!
Princess Roddy changed into his royal dress and put on his tiara. Then he set off for Cordelia Manor, the home of the previous ruler, Cordelia Thebe. The princess arrived, and was welcomed into the manor by Cordelia's butler, Bob. Cordelia came downstairs. Both she and Princess Roddy curtseyed. Then Cordelia gave the princess a great, big, loving hug:

'How have you been, Cordelia?' Princess Roddy asked:
'I've been doing well, Princess Roddy. I went to Tartosa and caught up with Arnessa Thebe. Matilda's been working hard at her job, too.' Cordelia replied. 'What about you?' she asked:
'I'm doing well, Cordelia!' Princess Roddy replied, cheerfully. 'That's good to hear!' Cordelia said, smiling. The pair then chatted to each other:
'I have something for you, Cordelia.' Princess Roddy said, producing a present:
He handed the present over to Cordelia, who opened it:
'Oh thank you, what an adorable knitted octopus!' Cordelia said, smiling:
'You're welcome, Cordelia!' Princess Roddy replied, cheerfully. After a cup of coffee, Princess Roddy said goodbye and headed back home to Dianthus Hall.

I really like how the exterior is coming along. The fountain along the building and seating area look perfect. Very nicely done! Awesome, the Studio is complete! @BlueSeaWaves Thank you! Their birthday party was a success. Although they're not twins their birthdays fell on the same day which was a bonus. We're going to give the My sim self's uncle Jimmy's family a rest now and we start the second act of the nutty nanny storyline this week.
Here's a fact: My sim self's first born son Tommy built the house that Jimmy and Tina live in now in 1981. He and his wife Miki (Akiyama) moved in after they graduated university. Tommy is the redhead on the far right with the caterer.

First of all, I literally laughed out loud when reading Mikkel telling Jack that he loved Owen specifically. Jack's reaction to that was priceless! Aww, what a sweet date night — well, for Jack and Ianto. Owen had a rougher ending to his night in more ways than one. So Eliza and Bob finally called it quits and divorced so she and Thomas moved into together. They now live in Brindleton Bay.
Eliza was celebrating Love Day with a nice quiet rose petal bath before she met up with Thomas on the beach.
When she met up with Thomas on the beach he asked her to marry him! She said yes!
It was the day before the wedding and Eliza got a bridal treatment at the spa.
Wedding day, Ivan and Billy took some fun photos together while all dressed up. They are so cute and it is amazing to watch them grow up.

Thank you! The pre-prom gatherings happen at random venues. This one just happened to be at my sim self's daughter Ayla's house, the teens all liked the hot tub as it was a warm Summers day!
Ohh, okay, I misread the century, I didn't see the 1 there. Opps! Must be tough for him going back to such a 'primitive' time in history. Curious if he plans to try to change any major events and how exactly he ended up in that time period at all. He kind of sounds like Dr. Who in how he's immortal and can time travel. Does he always look like himself again when he comes back?
Ah I see, Owen is clinging to the old ways and fears he'll end up alone since Jack and Ianto have changed and he hasn't. No wonder he sees Mikkel as a threat since he was the catalyst to all the changes in their lives. Plus, the fact he's an alien which before they all hated and tried to wipe out their existence.
I feel bad for Owen, sounds like he got the shortest end of the stick all around. Some people are just very resistant to change and dig in to the way things were in the past rather than try to adapt. I'm sure it galls him since he didn't ask for any of it. It'll be interesting to watch his progression and if he's somehow able to adapt over time...or not. o.O
A little side trip for all of them. Oh boy, did not turn out very well at all. I thought the kids were getting along great at first, but unfortunately, nope. Poor Mikkel having to deal with all those rude judgmental comments from those kids and their parents. I don't blame him for wanting to go home. Glad he at least enjoyed petting the dog before they left. Sheesh, that entire family is so judgmental. I would say it's a good bet they won't be visiting them again.
Good idea with the marshmallows. How are they blue though? Just a lighting issue or a Mod? Anyway, oh, I missed that for some reason, you're right though Ianto, Owen did defend Mikkel! Although he still doesn't like Mikkel on the surface, I think somewhere deep inside, a little ember is beginning to spark for Owen in relation to Mikkel. Or maybe he just defended Mikkel to keep in good graces with Ianto and Jack. Perhaps a bit of both, we shall see.

I see a lot of Simmers using shaders, but I usually don't care much for the overdone very dark contrast. Especially when showcasing a build. A little is helpful I'll admit, I boost it myself sometimes. But just a smidge in PS, I've never tried a shader. However, it appears you mostly enjoy it for the blurred background effect which works well for your gameplay story screenshots.
I'm looking forward to reading your current updates more now that I know a bit more about their backgrounds and personalities which led to where they are now.

Glad it went so well with Aeri and Olivia. Very awkward though with Scarlett showing up to confront her. I wondered at first if they were sisters or cousins or something because of the hair. Glad Senna agreed to quit her job and be a stay-at-home Mom. I'm sure she'll be much less stressed now. Great update!

It's actually by Maxis, called Library Escape. It uses the Kids Room stuff pack, and it's an upgrade of Willow Creek's library.
The only thing I have done to the Maxis build is replace the nasty uncomfortable Ambassador toilets with the unbreakable 'Sweet Escapes Country Toilet'. (Seriously, I have checked. It still has that unbreakable tuning tag when I viewed it through Sims 4 Studio's warehouse mode.)

Jack actually indeed is from the Doctor Who universe-they all are! From the spinoff called Torchwood. I've done a few generations of Doctor's regeneration and got a bit tired of playing as him, so I decided to switch over to Captain Jack Jarkness. The Doctor is still hanging out somewhere in the world (he ditched Jack a while ago, and Jack is still very much in love with him, hoping one day he'll return). He's the reason Jack is immortal.

Fact about Ianto Jones: Ianto Jones is an old-fashioned gentleman at heart. And Ianto Jones loves flowers. So Jack bought him a bunch of different flowers to start his own little garden.
Mikkel came around. Usually very cheerful and bubbly, he was surprisingly tense all day. What could possibly be wrong?
"Mikkel needs kisses too!"
Problem solved!
...Or not. At bedtime he became unhappy again.
"And they all lived happily ever after. The end!"
"Jack?" Mikkel called.
"Mm?"
"...Nevermind. Mikkel's words won't make human sense. But Mikkel loves you, Jack. And Ianto. And Owen."
"Oh, we love you too, Mikkel."
"Mikkel really loves Owen!"
That's very sweet," Jack smiled softly and sighed: it seemed so unfair that Mikkel was so fond of Owen, yet Owen hasn't shown any glimpse of liking him back.
"So he's your favourite dad, huh?" Jack chuckled.
"Mikkel doesn't have favourites. Mikkel just hopes Owen knows."
"I'll pass on the message."
"Thank you, Jack. Mikkel going to sleep now, Jack. Goodnight, Jack."
"Good... goodnight, Mikkel," Jack answered after a pause. What was up with Mikkel?
Anyway, Mikkel went to bed early for a good reason: Owen, Jack and Ianto were heading out on a date night to the local restaurant!
"Good evening, sir. A table for three, please!"
The receptionist certainly looks interesting.
"Can we please have..."
After ordering the food, the throuple chatted and discussed various light-hearted topics.
Jokes, casual flirting, sweet messages. A perfect night with no drama involved!
Even Owen is allowing himself to smile.
Until Jack brought up Mikkel, that is.
"So Mikkel was acting a bit weird today at bedtime..."
"Uhm, Jack. Can this please be a children-free night?" Owen muttered.
“As if parents ever get a break from their children,” Ianto tried to joke out of the situation that could potentially ruin the night, but Jack was determined.
"Really, guys, this is something we should discuss, also somehow I think it involves you, Owen..."
“Hey, I haven’t said a single bad word to him the entire last week. I call that an improvement.”
“Yes, but-”
"Oh look, the food is here!" Owen yelled out.
Food fixes everything. No time to argue, time to eat!
“The coffee here is… tolerable. There is room to improve though, to say the least.”
“Oh, like any coffee besides your own could be perfect to you!”
“That’s true, but I still feel like they could’ve tried a little bit better…”
“Dunno, I’m perfectly happy with my drink!”
“As long as it’s foamy, you’ll drink anything standing in front of you, Owen…”
They returned home quite late that night. Tired, exhausted, and yet incredibly flirty.
“So guys, what about uh… “relaxing”? Ianto?”
“Oh yes, relaxing. Definitely up for some relaxing.”
“Thought you were,” Jack chuckled. “Owen?”
“Nah, I’m too sleepy. You go have fun.”
He stood aside with a tight-lip smile, watching as Jack and Ianto, giggling and pushing each other like teenagers, headed in the house.
As soon the door closed, he turned away and sighed. He loved them more than anything in the world.
And sometimes loving them meant making sacrifices.
Sacrificing their love for him.
“What are you doing here!?” Owen whispered angrily at the two aliens, watching from afar.
“We are done waiting. Where is the offspring?”
“I can’t just hand him over to you in plain sight, I need Jack and Ianto to be out! They’re always home, what can I do about it?”
“Foolish human,” one of the aliens said in such a emotionless tone that chills went down Owen’s spine immediately. “We gave you plenty of time to solve that issue and we are running out of the feeling you call patience. If the experimental offspring K2049 won’t be on our ship within forty-eight hours, your planet will suffer consequences. And so will the experimental parent who dared escape.”
“Alright… Alright,” Owen quietened down with a sigh. “Look, I’ll try my best, alright? I can’t promise, but I’ll try. But you can’t touch Jack. Or Ianto. And I mean it when I say it. If you harm them in any way, your precious little offspring is dead. And... I need a guarantee. A promise, that when you get your experiment back, you’ll leave this planet-and all of us-alone. Got it?”
The alien didn’t reply. And yet even without a clear promise, Owen knew he'll do it anyway. What other choice did he have?
Eachann nuzzled Shelly. Shelly carefully put the kitten back on the ground. Then Eachann went back into his owner's bedroom. Princess Roddy smiled and knelt down:

Later, Benjamin came in. 'Hello dad!' Princess Roddy said, smiling. 'Hello Roddy!' Benjamin replied. He gave his firstborn son a loving hug:

Benjamin noticed a foul smell emanating from the beehive. 'Looks like it's time to clean your home, your highness!' Benjamin said. Carefully taking each section of the hive out, he started to clean the hive, removing all the waste. In no time at all, Benjamin had a spotless hive.
Benjamin put the sections back into the hive and watched as the queen and her worker bees happily buzzed around. Benjamin loved his bees.
And a great, big, loving smooch on his cheek:
'How have you been, Cordelia?' Princess Roddy asked:
'I've been doing well, Princess Roddy. I went to Tartosa and caught up with Arnessa Thebe. Matilda's been working hard at her job, too.' Cordelia replied. 'What about you?' she asked:
'I'm doing well, Cordelia!' Princess Roddy replied, cheerfully. 'That's good to hear!' Cordelia said, smiling. The pair then chatted to each other:
'I have something for you, Cordelia.' Princess Roddy said, producing a present:
He handed the present over to Cordelia, who opened it:
'Oh thank you, what an adorable knitted octopus!' Cordelia said, smiling:
'You're welcome, Cordelia!' Princess Roddy replied, cheerfully. After a cup of coffee, Princess Roddy said goodbye and headed back home to Dianthus Hall.

Update 19- Aw lovely evening between Wade and Darla❤️ Update -20 Keatons face while watching his father and grandpa hug, very wholesome. ❤️ Great shot to everyone at the dinner table, many conversations going on. Love it. Aw Captain got a harvest fest treat, adorable! This line made me laugh, “The only thing missing from the sleepover was literal sleep!” They had lots of fun though😆 Very interesting teaser.
I really like how the exterior is coming along. The fountain along the building and seating area look perfect. Very nicely done! Awesome, the Studio is complete! The lounge and cafeteria look great, the cafeteria is very pleasing to look at. The Bosses’ offices look very professional too. Great build 👍 P.1106 Oo how exciting! Can’t wait for the next update in Schemes and Dreams. I remember Octavia was about to get bad publicity from those paparazzis. Looking forward to Ravyn’s debut🙂

Here's a fact: My sim self's first born son Tommy built the house that Jimmy and Tina live in now in 1981. He and his wife Miki (Akiyama) moved in after they graduated university. Tommy is the redhead on the far right with the caterer.
