I'd upload the Wyrd Girls to the Gallery but I use a lot of mods and I guess, like GalacticGal, I'd have to figure out how to create unmodded versions of them. I have no idea how I would go about doing that frankly.
The biggest hurdle for me is Erik's skill levels. I, or the person who decides to download him, would have to have him grind them up. He's got a 10 in the following skills: Charisma, Guitar, Piano, Violin, Singing, Writing. He's also maxed out his Simstagram capabilities. The Get Famous mechanism allows for us to advance their Fame level, as well as their Public Image, which Erik did on his own, no help from me. If that translates after he's downloaded again I won't have to guide anyone on just where to place his stars for each level.
Skills, fame level, quirks, and reputation stay with the sim when you upload them, just like traits and aspirations. Awards and stars won't though since they're considered inventory items.

I feel bad saying this, but I don’t know if I’ll be on track to try and add him to my game. There’s so much I’ll need to do to get my save running again. I’m probably not going to be prepared to do exactly what I wanted to do.
@Princess I loved your update. I'm also a Hopeless Romantic so I hope the two continue to hit it off. I'm a firm believer that a couple should be friends as well as lovers. To me, this is the formula to a long and happy marriage, if that's where your headed, that is.

Spent six hours on my legacy save, aged my toddler into a child, child was wearing awful clothing, took him into CAS, oh my god I forgot to save, six hours of progress lost due to a bug that hasn't been fixed, uninstalled Sims 4.
What a bummer. Save, save, save and save again. I learned this the hard way, too.

Dylan and Zeph had a deep conversation with their father last time I was on, and the conversation was about celebrities… Naturally, I thought of Erik and wondered how cool it would be if their conversation was about a meeting with a world famous celebrity! I was going to do a flashback with my twins getting his autograph…
In that update, I wanted to also share the things I loved about your updates… it sounded really fun in my mind, still does…
I just don’t know if I’ll be able to set that up exactly like I wanted too… By the time I’m done rebuilding my save, it feels like the timing will be off… I’m not sure how to explain it, but it was this extra thing I wanted to do.
I just don’t know where I’m going to find the creative energy for it after rebuilding the save.
I even keep thinking: What if I don’t need to rebuild the save? What if everything will be fine the next time I load the game?
But a quieter part of my mind that I trust more than what ifs is telling me that starting a new save is what I need to do.
Oh, that's messed up @Brd709 Nine years down the tubes. Is there any way this can be resolved, changed? This is what I feared with the whole gender preference thing they installed. Players would lose control of their Sims.
Or, if it can't be changed back, it could make for a very interesting twist of fate, you know?

I struggle with getting my sims famous and there skills up. There needs go down fast and I get little achieved for them. At the moment I'm enjoying a nice story and have been creating sims but don't upload to the gallery at the moment.
Have you done many gallery creations? ^=^ I was but not much anymore.
Welcome Aboard! I only have a few builds uploaded. I don't often share my Sims, not sure why, but I think because I don't use much cc. In fact, I only have one Sim in my game who uses cc hair. It just suits her better than the ones in the game. And that's Kayleigh Golden. Currently, she's Erik's girlfriend in high school. These two have a long-standing relationship.
I also must confess to the use of mods. MCCC, Road to Fame, among a few others. I use the Cheat Needs more often than I care to admit. Erik's got a crazy schedule. Sleep, for him, is a luxury. Plus, I have a tendency to give all of my Sims skills when I first place them in the game. I made the entire Cantrell family in CAS. It bothers me that Adult Sims, (the parents) don't have a single skill coming out of CAS. Why haven't' they learned a single thing, when they have five children, four of which are Teens? The Teens should have a fair amount of skills developed, too.
This all began when I created the Cantrell family after I finished up the Pinstar Legacy Challenge, using Erik Cantrell as my Founder. The rules of this challenge is such you must play on Normal length. This just wasn't enough for me.
So, I took the Erik I created based on how I had him look in Sims3, where he was a Superstar, Rock Star thanks to the Showtime EP. From Erik I used the Genetic tag to create parents, then I removed Erik from the family and downloaded just Joseph and his wife, Louise. From them I allowed the Cantrell children to be born in game. (I did make certain when Erik became a Child — that's how long ago it was that in CAS aged up, he looked like himself. Otherwise I was going to substitute his template and age him back down to Child). Erik was a musical prodigy and I had him very ready to go by the time it was announced we were getting Get Famous. I was thrilled out of my mind, quite frankly. However, even with the use of the newly update, upgraded Road to Fame, which allowed for a Professional Singer career, I thought there was no stopping me. Then, inexplicably that save got corrupted. Erik suddenly could no longer hold concerts. I thought at first it was the mod itself. I sought help over at the Discord for the modder and we tried a few things. The long and the short of it is, the mod was just fine. Turns out the family, including Erik was corrupt. I had to start over. So, I decided to take a short-cut.
I recreated the parents off of the same Erik I'd used originally. From the parents I generated the other four kids. This time I used MCCC to skill them up, keeping in mind how Erik had advanced. I mostly rolled the dice for each category for the others. And that's my story.

Sounds good! It’s not that I don’t want to create the little crossover. I’m just going to be so busy rebuilding my save.
Definitely give it some thought. Once a sim is on the gallery, they can be downloaded and played by another player. You won’t have any control after that.
I know that some of my merfolk have been uploaded to the Gallery. Some people even favorited a couple households.
This might be a crazy idea, but with Dylan and Zeph on the gallery they could appear in another save.
Not going to lie. I think it would be cool to see them in another player’s update!
I don’t use mods, so the only requirement to include them is having the packs they use content from.
If my memory serves me, the main packs you need to have Dylan and Zeph in your save are:
Cool Kitchen Stuff
Island Living
City Living
Romantic Garden
Parenthood
Most of the other content comes from skills they developed in gameplay.
If you don’t have those packs, Dylan, Zeph, and their family will load bald and without their singing skill.
I’m ok if someone changed their outfits.
I know that major parts of their outfits come from:
City Living
Seasons
Spa Day
They won’t have shoes or will be shirtless without those packs.
Fashion Street Kit is where their swimwear comes from.
Dylan does have minor fame from Get Famous.
If you have the packs and kit I mentioned, Dylan, Zeph, and their family should dress and act like they are supposed to.

That’s the thing, I don’t use cc because I can’t use cc or mods. As long as you have the packs and kits, you have everything you need.
