I thought it looked like an elevator too, but turns out it’s a door/entranceway to the tunnel system if you place it in Moonwood Mill. However, it can also be placed on lots in other worlds which will then give you direct access to the world of Moonwood Mill.
Other tidbits from the livestream:
- Due to the lore of the world, other occults will be attracted to spawn there, so it sounded like you’ll see more occults in Moonwood Mill than you’d normally see in other worlds, though it was a bit unclear if it was in Moonwood Mill in general or restricted to the bar lot.
- They also showed the new werewolf to werewolf fight. Then one on the stream was the friendly spar, but there’s also an unfriendly one. And if you have Vampires there will also be the option for a “supernatural smack down”.
They showed an actual outhouse. Were getting outhouses too. I hope sims can woohoo in them.
I thought the outhouses were entrance doors to the tunnel system as well? They didn't mention anything about them actually being functional as outhouses.
The outhouse was shown close to the end. It had a toilet and sink in it. The outhouse has a different door on it.
If you're referring to the 2x2 outhouse behind the bar, then I think that one is just a regular room built to resemble an outhouse so I don't expect there will be any woohoo options on it. Anyway, don't think they mentioned if there are any new woohoo places.

Hey, all! Will try to get the stuff people might need to point to (Twitter links, for example) onto p. 1 today, but I'm also packing etc. for a holiday so might take a bit. For what goes on p. 1, I'll be focusing on Twitter links from SimGurus + things they said in the stream. My personal rule for these threads is that it's for stuff we know 100% for sure.

I have my vampire bloodrose family adult is all the way up to master and ready to take on the werewolves..

I'm sure one of you posted this (tweets still aren't loading for me, so if there's no text with yours, I can't see it unless I hang out waiting a long time) but just in case:

So have the simgurus shared yet whether random sims who wander into Moonwood Mill can be turned into werewolves while we're playing another sim in Moonwood Mill? Especially for rotational players, is it possible that I might be playing Laila in Moonwood and meanwhile Akira wanders into the bar unbeknownst to me and gets in a fight and is suddenly a werewolf the next time I go to play him?

If they ask to be given a cursed bite they will turn into werewolves as soon as the process is complete. If they are attacked and bitten without asking they contract werebies, which if left untreated will end up with them becoming werewolves. The process if they ask for the bite doesn't take very long, it's much faster than becoming a vampire. The werebies is a longer process which gives you time to find a cure to prevent turning.
ETA: The same holds true outside of Moonwood Mill if you choose to leave werewolves active outside of that world, which why would you disable them? Don't attack me non-occultists, it's said in fun.

@DaniRose2143 I get how that works for sims in the active household. I'm wondering about sims in the non-active household. What happens if I'm playing Laila's household, and meanwhile Akira wanders into Moonwood Mill and gets in a fight with a werewolf and gets bitten, I don't notice (it's a really big neighborhood), and then I don't rotate back to Akira's household until more than 3 days in the future?
@mightysprite As far as I know it works the same for them too. I came away with the impression that werewolves can bite autonomously. I don't think a sim has to be actively played to be a victim of werewolf attack. Whether or not it leads to infection, I would think they still become infected.
I misread your question. I believe they can still attack sims but in those circumstances the risk of infection is much lower or nonexistent. Otherwise we'd be overrun. Sorry for any mixup.
Ahahahaha. Okay, there's zero chance I'll get page 1 caught up before I leave on holiday. But at least info is here

Is anyone else having problems with the linked items (twitter? facebook?) not showing at all in this thread? Both yesterday and today, I can't see any of them, so a lot of the posts in this thread are looking completely blank to me.

I can see them. I use Brave browser and all of the Twitter posts show for me.

Okay, it's probably my browser being "helpful" then. I'll see what happens if I use a different one. Thanks!
EDIT - Switching browsers worked. Thanks for the suggestion!

I actually think these lot sizes work. The vibe is warehouse/trailer anyway so larger lots aren't needed, imo.
