I like the idea of using the Cottage Living farming for a werewolf to make money. He'd be a wolfie protecting all his chickens, cows, and llamas from the foxes. :D

I already have a storyline ready. I built up the Straud family to be like, royalty amongst the vampires and even the spellcasters. Anyways, to make it short, one of Vlads sons disappeared a century ago and in my story he became a werewolf and is the reason he never came home but since we had no werewolves, the dude has just been hanging out in Mt Komorebi for literal years while I play the story around him waiting for us to get werewolves so he can "return" lol. So first order of business will be moving him to Moonwood Mills and getting his werewolf on lol.

Struggling writer who just had a bad breakup, so she moves to a secluded town to her nana's rundown little log cabin... she tries to cope with her aching heart through her poetry which she sells and barely scrapes by. On a grocery run, she spots a strange character with an oddly woodsy scent whom she hears talking about the local lake. For inspiration, she goes out that night to watch the full moon rise over the lake, the stunning beauty bubbling like a muse inside of her! And then she spots... in the distance... is that...?

Realising her predicament she silently creeps back in the direction of her log cabin. Then she hears the howling, the paws stamping down as they run in her direction! She takes off, her chest heaving as she inhales the icy air to make her escape. She barely makes it, hearing the snarling on the other side of the door that she slams behind her, and she slumps down in a heap of both fear and intrigue, crying, confused and yet.... inspired?

She decides to start a fantasy novel the next morning, but she just couldn't get that other sim out of her mind. The transformation was beautiful and terrifying. Painful and yet freeing. A knock on the door startles her and when she answers, its /them/.

They casually say that they just wanted to check in on their neighbor, make sure everything was okay but she wouldn't stand for it! She blurts out that she saw the whole thing, and they look at her half intrigued, half amused. They promise to show her around and maybe teach her about the condition - for her book of course.

But who knows... next full moon... a lot can happen in 28 days.

or he'd wake up after a full moon and wonder where all his chickens had gone and why he had feathers stuck between his teeth! :o

I may create Bigby Wolf from Fables, he is a Sheriff, and is married to Snow White, and has kids with her.
Also, maybe John Blacksad from the Blacksad comics, he is a actually a cat-human, but I can make hopefully make a werewolf more cat-like. He is a detective in the series.
I can make them both Detectives with the Get to Work game pack.
I may do a mixture of pre-existing werewolves, and make my own.
I may make Remus from Harry Potter too, he would be a teacher too. Also, an Inuyasha based werewolf, he is half-human/half-dog demon, so that wouldn't be too crazy.
One idea I have of my own is to create a male werewolf, and a female vampire, and have them be married.

I had this problem when I made a spellcaster family. I don't play with occults much so I just always have trouble coming up with what careers I should give them. My spellcasters didn't have jobs, I just had one of them sell their potions on plopsy.

That's very creative. That's also my problem with these packs, I don't understand why they never come with new careers. Magical careers your sims could join should've been a must imo. I downloaded custom careers so my spellcasters work in the ministry of magic. I wish they had added something like this in the game, and gave us hidden careers only spellcasters could join. Like, a new branch of the botanical career, "magical plants specialist", or a semi active career as potion maker, or a job vacant in the Magic Realm.

I'm really liking the civilised wolves pack's vibe, so I'll probably be playing with them. I really like the wolf lady that is gardering in the trailer. I'm probably making her the matriarch of my story, and give her a gardering career, specialising her on plants related to lycanthropy and different herbal potions.

It would be awesome if we get some new careers related to nature and the new world, such as Forest ranger, Mill worker, wildlife welfare associated etc.

Because of the nature of the beast and that of fury rising, and potential sudden transformations without the Full moon up high, I guess my Sim will be self employed and work on things she can do away from civilization. It would be funny though to be a scientist and then sudden transformation at the lab LOL

I have a shadowy government organisation operating at the heart of my supernatural save. Its members have already infiltrated all the different supernatural groups and their various factions, and the human criminal network as well. My undercover group's uber-vamp leader is going to recruit a genius teen (who's been hanging out on the fringe of my game for a while) to accidentally on purpose get bitten and rise through the ranks of one of the secretive werewolf clans. How it all plays out will depend somewhat on whatever the werewolf gameplay dynamics turn out to be, but there will be intrigue and shenanigans and heartbreak for sure. At some point my uber-vamp is going to take the cure and disappear to am obscure retirement in Henford on Bagley, after which the government will send a very nasty, ruthless replacement who will reset the whole undercover operation and shake up the entire story.

Obviously Werewolves love sports and people (wolfpack), so
    • Active career / Professional Athlete Branch : Team sports
    • Detective career : Their nose can find anything
    • Criminal career / Boss Branch : Threaten >:)
    • Military career : Protect and teamwork

I started my new save and something different from what I earlier planned happened.

So this is the new version. After the death of her husband a young woman moves with her little daughter to a brand new city. It doesn't take long before she starts to question the wisdom of moving just here but the house was left her for free so here they are. Lakshmi took a job that was part time, with time I think she might move into a full time job or start a home business. (Yes, it's the sims so she could become a astronaut on day one but I am pretending that when you are new in a place and need a job NOW without any contacts you work yourself up.) So now we are working on gardening, they have a cow, and little Luna is working on her mental skill. Lakshmi has one of the new wellness aspirations and does plenty of yoga and meditations. Short term plan is is just figuring out how they will support themselves in a way that suits their story and something that they can do mainly at home.

Long term: I want Luna to become a really good programmer and go to University so when she ages up to a teenager they will move to Evergreen harbor since they have better schools. That will be more expensive that their out in the middle of nothing StrangerVille so they will go mostly Off The Grid to support themselves.

Mother and daughter will also work slowly on unraveling the mysteries of StrangerVille, they will go back and forth from their home over in Evergreen harbor. One day come back to battle the plant-mother with a pack of werewolves.

Luna was not the name that I thought that I would go with but the character creator suggested it and then I felt like I couldn't change it.

And now to chime in with a few of my own... got too many to list anything in any real detail (i tend to have 30-50 of each occult in my game)

But a few are as follows:

The afore-mentioned hot-headed art critic that'll scare even diego lobo

The afore-mentioned social media star (who will likely be good friends with my social media star half-alien vampire, while also having a friendly rivalry with her)

    Wilderness photographer/mountain climber

Military, criminal, astronaut, engineer, scientist wolves and likely some others... possibly food critic because that idea makes me laugh

I'll either be turning one of my vampire slayers into a werewolf or adding a wolf as a third one. And also prob'ly gonna do some werewolf hunters now

Will likely do some kind of chinese-based werewolf or two to fit into the secret empire one of my vampires runs that basically controls all of san myshuno feom the shadows, though no real details for this yet

Two 'werefoxes', a kitsune (japanese) and a kumiho (korean).
And depending on how spellcaster/werewolf hybrids act (ie: do they break the game?), i might make one or two of my sages into weres, too. My sages are deities from around the globe and two are known shapeshifters: inari, fox protector from japanese mythology is practical sage and coyote from various native american tribes is mischief sage (as a navajo named cody changing dog). So, would design them as snow fox and painted coyote, if things play nicely. It could be fun for one or more of my sages to also be 'mooncasters', depending on how the lore for that pans out

Since it seems he was only made for the trailer, i'm likely recreating that white-furred guitarist, unless they upload an official version of him (traits may get edited, like happened with sebastian santos from cats and dogs). I might either add fame to him or make a famous musician werewolf as well

A few others i'm sorely tempted to make are loona and vortex, two ...demon dogs associated with fire and the underworld from a not-for-kids cartoon whose very name is likely frowned upon in the forums, as it also has that underworld's name in it (heckuva boss gets the gist across)

    ...so... um... yeah... a lot

Oh man. Why did I never think to turn the Fengs into vampires? This is perfect... they can run their vampire crime syndicate by night. I've always meant to get around to playing them, but couldn't think of an angle to interest me, but this should do it. And now I can give them a couple of human children before they turn, and one of them can become the family pariah later in life by becoming a werewolf.

Just been 'tweeking' Forgotten Hollow. (makeovers for everybody!!LOL).

Vlad is currently romancing Lilith Vatore, they will eventually get married....leaving Caleb, who has a very wolfish dark form and a love of the outdoors, home alone. I wonder if he might meet someone in a new town?
I wonder if it would cause problems between him and his sister? (whose new husband to be now has claw marks across his face and a deep seated hatred of all things werewolf).

yup, Im gonna Romeo and Juliet the heck out of this new pack!! :D

    Options I've thought about:

Detective - Fitness based. Can potentially sniff out suspects and clues?
Military - Fitness based. Scrappy. Healing ability? (Icon with bandaged finger)
    Athletic - Fitness based. Outdoorsy.
Yoga Instructor - Fitness based. Potential to be outdoorsy.
    Gardener - Physical work. Outdoorsy.
Carpenter - Physical work. Outdoorsy. Plenty of wood lying around.
Dog Trainer - Canine bond? Can earn tips from pets performing tricks.
    Collector - Outdoorsy. Scavenger ability.
Fishersim - Outdoorsy. Sellable. Possible food source.
Hunter - Veggie sims hunt mushrooms which are (canning ingredients and) sellable. Not sure if hunted meat is sellable?
Criminal - Fitness based. Scrappy. Suits rebellious Wildfang members. Night vision?
Politics - Suits diplomatic Moonwood Collective members.
Manual Labourer - Fitness based. Outdoorsy.
Entertainer - Music or comedy at the bar for tips. Outdoorsy in Moonwood Mill bar.
Mixologist - Tend the bar for daily task. Outdoorsy in Moonwood Mill bar.
Adventurer/Archaeologist - Explore tunnels, learn local history, write articles and sell loot. Use Adventurous trait from SE for good moodlets. Werewolf needs abilities (pee/sleep anywhere) and hunting will make JA temple raids super easy down the line.
    Chandler/Candlemaker - Off-the grid sims need lighting.
Photographer/Videographer/Journalist - Come for the cryptid rumours. Stay for the ___.
    Painter - Landscape painter.

    Might be an issue:

Farming - Animals might be skittish?
Veterinarian - Likely good with dogs, but might be bad with cats?

Just chiming in with a ridiculous one that sprang to mind... university werewolf with the 'party animal' aspiration, truly trying to live up to that title

The Adventurer/Archaeologist one is one of the ones I'm doing. He has already completed both Jungle Adventure aspirations(well almost, he has to give a lecture and then he will be done) I was then going to have him do the Adventure aspiration from SE as he does have the trait already but I think I'll have him work through the Werewolf aspirations first and then have him complete that. I was thinking yesterday while playing though that being able to pee/sleep anywhere would of really came in handy while I was doing the Jungle Adventure ones lol.

I just created my first werewolf-to-be. Her name is Jessie Doom and she's a sister of my Vampire Queen Evilia Doom and her other sister is a witch Amalia Doom.
Jessie hates Evilia and she wants to become a wererwolf and get rid of all vampires including her sister. Jessie gets along with Amalia, but Amalia gets along with both of them and she doesn't want her sisters to fight. I have a feeling it won't go so well... >:)

Here's Jessie. She's active, hot-headed and she loves the outdoors. I will give her the new aspiration after I get the pack and probably change her hair and clothes and maybe some piercings and tattoos.

    ZcitcbA.png
    YnucGp0.png

I haven't decided her career yet, she's probably just going to do gardening and odd jobs. I want to concentrate on the werewolf stuff and not going to spend time with work related things. I also want her to find a werewolf girlfriend. Is Rory free? She seems like the one that Jessie would like. ;)

@Umbreon12 This is pretty much what I'm doing! Yesterday, I started reading the Fables graphic novels again, the ones about werewolves and wolves. I also found out that there was an adventure game featuring Bigby that came out in 2013 and its sequel will be released in 2023: The Wolf Among Us.

I already have a household set up with Bigby Wolf and two wolf-dogs: Ruff and Reddie. (No Snow White at the moment) Right now, Bigby lives on the Windenburg island. He's just getting started, foraging and digging up loot around his home, but I'll probably make him a detective/lawman. And I'm hoping I can place the portal door to Moonwood Mill on The Bluffs island lot. 😊

All the more reason to learn meditation and be able to calm down.

Werewolves can be vegetarian. In game when they go foraging they'll come back with mushrooms.

Right? I can definitely see a werewolf getting into yoga and meditation in a way to control their fury and Werewolves are human first so makes since they would eat vegetables and outdoorsy so would enjoy the gardening aspect. Didn't the trailer show the the Moonwood Collective gardening?
