I redid San Myshuno Meadows to update it to MWS. With the exception of one couple, all of the sims in my main save have gotten married there, so now that I've got the pack and am replaying out my legacy I figured it could use a little makeover. The outside hasn't changed as much, but I can never resist taking photos of the wedding arch
I very much like what EA has done in Sulani, but I have to say the real dolphins are more gray than that bluish color. Yes, I've seen them 'in-person' and have even petted one.
Visiting my legacy family save today and it's 6am in the city. And well... there seems to be some kind of unannounced dog convention or something taking place at the corner. The only non-stray in this shot is the tiny Toy Fox Terrier named Jahr, who is being walked by a formerly played sim of mine. Jahr seems as curious as I was what was going on there.
That kind of stray dog conventions happen when a female dog is in heat and all the neighbourhood male dogs answer the calling. Scary stuff.
I get what you're saying. While my hubby and I were gone for the day let our FEMALE puppy out of our yard. We found her out in the back alley with FIVE, count them five male dogs. She was ten months old and this was her first heat. She had ten puppies. TEN.
So I took my Sim to the Flea Market. Agnes Crumplebottom was there. First she happy/angry danced, then she kicked over a trash can, got into a shouting match with Nancy Landgraab, had Banh Mi and either loved or hated it, beat up a guy with her purse and finally got turned down for an autograph by Judith Ward. Couldn't tell ya what my Sim was doing during all that time, I was not able to take my eyes off Agnes.
She is just done so well in Sims4. I, for one, am so glad to have that walking Morality Monitor back in the game. Thought it was entirely too funny when she beat the stuffing out of my very athletic Sim one evening and the next morning caught his next younger brother (he has three younger brothers) blowing a kiss to his fiancée at a café. She really laid into him, too. I think she has a grudge against my Cantrell family.
@GalacticGal, not all dolphins are the same color, there are many different dolphin species and many of them are grey. You most likely didn't see blue dolphins...which are, well...blue. There's even pink ones...and spotted ones!

@Netzspannung Ngl, Agnes Crumplebottom is kinda making me think that maybe I should re-consider getting Cottage Living. My TS2 sims had such a lovingly close relationship with the purse and I'm feeling nostalgic.

I just got so annoyed with her having replaced her original outfit with the concert one. He gave her new hot/cold outfits too instead of the random out-of-character looking messes, then left without ever saying hi, forgetting all about the blasted plasma.

That's a beautiful shot, @HopeyStarr! I really like how the angle captures just a bit of the aurora in the sky, complimenting the blue in her outfit. Great choice of angle.

@VeeDub You have great looking Sims and your stories seem very rich in detail. I imagine you probably use CC and I just don't want to start adding that stuff to my game yet. I wish Maxis/EA would make better hair and content that looked that good. If a Modder/ CC designer can do it why don't they? When I do decide to start using CC I will need a list from You. LOL

Thank you! And yes, I do use CC, though some sims are more customized than others. I updated Vlad a bit, as shown in that screenshot, to match my personal vision for the other vampires in my worlds. In my universe they stop aging at young adulthood, so I removed his wrinkles and gave him dark hair and eyelashes. The only other change I made for him was to tone down the exaggeratedly cartoonish features of his face.
Also, I like your toddler screenshot. That's an excellent expression for looking at a hotdog, I think.

@Thrior I was actually never that big of a fan tbh, but I really like her in TS4. She doesn't show up everywhere, it's always a nice surprise and she never ruined a date or anything. I have never seen her at a restaurant, club or the Bluffs, she comes to places that kinda make sense (outside of Henford-on-Bagley), like the Flea Market or the Community Garden. Now I'm a fan.

Parker is a personal trainer in my game. So this little episode gave me the headcanon that he is a personal trainer to celebs and is selling juicy stories about them to earn extra cash on the side.

I woke up suddenly remembering the book, [Island of the Blue Dolphins Not only that, but I was able to visit the Santa Barbara Mission, where the girl who wrote that story (of her life) was placed to rest! How I forgot that I have no idea! Must have slipped a cog.
