@SeashoreLivia if you are in central utc -6 timezone then yes brunch at the old mill will be on feb 19th at 3:45am.
Brunch at the old mill is also number 884 on the list but this one is more expensive (765 points vs 442 points @ number 948). Number 884 comes up on feb 14th at 12:45am if you are in that central timezone.
If you are in a different timezone then you will need to scroll across in the timezone area until you find yours (or something close). This can make a huge diffence to what time it will come up eg. central utc-6 time 3:45am, my time australian eastern daylight savings time (utc+11) 8:45pm the same day for this one deal.

I might have been hurt by the lack of faith in my new path for Man Cave Compilation, but to be fair I haven't (yet) made a name for myself here as being a reliable expert on anything and didn't provide all my math (not hard to double-check). Plus confirmation of the math is always appreciated, to make sure I didn't miss something.
I'm annoyed at myself that I forgot to check the Hogan's Deep-Fried Diner deal earlier (not much of a loss, just missed yet another confirmation of my CYS calculations/predictions being accurate), though I did just save myself from missing a CYS confirmation for Everyday - Cool Summer Nights. Now to wait a few hours for SCORE Television to come up, and try to commit to memory some of the upcoming purchases and CYS price checks I have planned for the rest of the month.
On an unrelated note, MMaO is frustrating at times. While I'm used to it offering a lot of bad deals (combinations of items that I could get cheaper via DD and CYS), I hate it when I'm offered a good deal I can't afford. When I my rolls for today (about 1-2 hours ago) I was offered a good deal on Midnight Hollow Gold for ~400 SP more than I have to play with.
I actually did a math my own for it, although I calculated 19 simpoints at the end price of the complication, I think it should go right. Hoping that ea didn't change the way it is calculated...
Yeah, I just reran the numbers through my spreadsheet again and I'm seeing 19.8 before rounding.
The "rounded up to the nearest 5sp" mentioned at the beginning of this thread is the best simple rounding -- your CYS will never be more than that result. The rounding rules I uncovered will cause CYS prices to be 5 SP less than the rounded up result a fair portion of the time, but it is a bad idea to rely on that possibility.

Greetings! Just would like to say thank you @rnramey and @Me1620 (plus everyone else) for this thread and the spreadsheet! I use the spreadsheet to plan ahead, but like to come to this thread for the tips, or if anything catches my eye, as I do check the DD page multiple times just to see what's out there and if people are buying it.
Speaking of, folks are definitely still buying and taking advantage of the sales, as key items or sets/venues will sometimes show 1% or 2% claimed, and really special ones will have 3% or more. I recently saw Grandpa's Grove at 5% and the Deliciously Indulgent Bakery at 4%. While not the numbers that I'm sure were happening yesteryear, there's still an interest. And if I buy an item with a % claimed, the number doesn't change, haha, so it definitely takes purchases by others to increase that number.
While I don't plan to "own the store," as there are things that just don't interest me, I do like a fair amount of what's there and most of the premium content.
Two questions: 1. Does anyone know if the lot seen on the Live, Laugh, Love set page is available for download? It looks neat! :)
2. As I acquire more item, sets, and compilations, does it matter how they're installed in my game? Is it better to install a whole compilation, or the individual sets that belong to it? I've installed some individual items and then later the full sets after getting them, and so far not seeing an impact in-game, though it'd probably help to remove "duplicates" from the Downloads folder to reduce its size.

According to S3S Browser there used to be a Witchin Spring Ride set (with the same product ID as the spring ride) that contained the spring ride and Gory Goodies. EA probably discontinued that set while leaving the ride's picture unchanged.

I'm annoyed at myself that I forgot to check the Hogan's Deep-Fried Diner deal earlier (not much of a loss, just missed yet another confirmation of my CYS calculations/predictions being accurate), though I did just save myself from missing a CYS confirmation for Everyday - Cool Summer Nights. Now to wait a few hours for SCORE Television to come up, and try to commit to memory some of the upcoming purchases and CYS price checks I have planned for the rest of the month.
On an unrelated note, MMaO is frustrating at times. While I'm used to it offering a lot of bad deals (combinations of items that I could get cheaper via DD and CYS), I hate it when I'm offered a good deal I can't afford. When I my rolls for today (about 1-2 hours ago) I was offered a good deal on Midnight Hollow Gold for ~400 SP more than I have to play with.
The "rounded up to the nearest 5sp" mentioned at the beginning of this thread is the best simple rounding -- your CYS will never be more than that result. The rounding rules I uncovered will cause CYS prices to be 5 SP less than the rounded up result a fair portion of the time, but it is a bad idea to rely on that possibility.

Speaking of, folks are definitely still buying and taking advantage of the sales, as key items or sets/venues will sometimes show 1% or 2% claimed, and really special ones will have 3% or more. I recently saw Grandpa's Grove at 5% and the Deliciously Indulgent Bakery at 4%. While not the numbers that I'm sure were happening yesteryear, there's still an interest. And if I buy an item with a % claimed, the number doesn't change, haha, so it definitely takes purchases by others to increase that number.
While I don't plan to "own the store," as there are things that just don't interest me, I do like a fair amount of what's there and most of the premium content.
Two questions:
1. Does anyone know if the lot seen on the Live, Laugh, Love set page is available for download? It looks neat! :)
2. As I acquire more item, sets, and compilations, does it matter how they're installed in my game? Is it better to install a whole compilation, or the individual sets that belong to it? I've installed some individual items and then later the full sets after getting them, and so far not seeing an impact in-game, though it'd probably help to remove "duplicates" from the Downloads folder to reduce its size.

@Rsanda and @goodFeel93 - Thanks for the mentions about the Origin sale that happened end of December/early January. I was able to get Monte Vista - and a new pizza oven!
@Dooneese - The Animals Abound cascade worked for me back in October 2021. Full disclosure, I already had the baby swing, but still had to make a purchase (Beary Baby Bottom toilet paper holder) for the cascade as described.
