I concede, it's a cake - guess I was too busy thinking about work and the mind does what the mind does. But still, I am thinking its a wedding planner career, at least partially. DHD was well received (I think) and they might do something similar to see if it forms a trend, or a new way forward.

I wouldn't really mind if such a career were to be part of the pack, but only as long as it didn't take center stage and use up too much of the operating budget to also include a number of other things that people have actually been begging for in the romance side of things. I did recently get DHD on sale, but only for the BB stuff. I don't give a fig about the career it came with, and I have no personal interest in a wedding planner career, either.

I'm not big on romance, so I haven't actively wanted a romance pack, so I have no expectations.
World? Sure, that would be great. No World? I'm cool.

Attraction System? Hey, this can make things a bit of a challenge, that's neat. No Attraction system? I'm cool.
Wedding Planner Career? That means it comes with lots of new clothes, accessories, and decor, right? No career? Good, one less career to ignore.
A wedding planner career sounds nice, but I would be concerned about how playable it is in a save the long run. Assuming it’s an active career, they’d either have to space out the gigs so you don’t run out of couple, or generate new sims to be couples. Generating new couples would quickly bloat up a save.
Now a romance pack I can totally get behind since there's alot of lovey dovey stuff sims need. The need for new wedding dresses is DIRE. AND HAND OVER THE BRIDAL VEILS OR ELSE!
As for weddings, I'd be happy if you could direct the wedding guests to sit down before the newlyweds say their vows. So many times the guests finally show up (After invading the bartender's personal space) but the ring exchange is over, the vows are said, the couple is wed. Why wont they watch the wedding??? It annoys me so much!
With the phrasing of “party with love”, I really do feel it’s something like weddings or perhaps a singles (bachelors/bachelorette) party. Honeymoons in hotels would be nice to add, and I hope they do?
I’m hoping they add more romantic content in general, and maybe update the main game with a romance attraction system. I love wedding content, but I hope it has multiple romance-related content for simmers who want the romance, but don’t want the weddings.

This time I hope they don't give us a new world and focus on new animations and gameplay systems. New romantic and cuddling animations, slow dancing, online dating, a matchmaker NPC, a 'loyal' and 'sweet talker' trait, etc.
Because this is ea and they love to throw us off watch it be a Las Vegas inspired world because the real Vegas has Paris and Venice themed hotels. And in this pack your sims can have a cheesy Vegas wedding and be married by sim Elvis, although Vegas themed expansion pack with hotels and casinos could be fun

This theory makes sense sadly they get to resale a feature it would not be the first or last time this has been done. I can't wait for them to market the "new" festival(fair) next expansion we get it's not like we have not seen them in some form or another almost every expansion world since City Living.

I don't think DHD was that well received, I hated that the only live mode feature was stuck in the build mode and I don't think being the only one thinking that.
The paranormal pack exceeded expectations for a career based pack and DHD didn't quite reach it's full gamepack potential for me. DHD is an overstuffed SP featuring the modular system. Not a bad thing just not what I expected judging from pervious gamepacks.
I hope the new romance pack gives the same essential pack feeling like Parenthood gives.

I would actually like to see a world based on India, because I don't think we ever have in the Sims franchise. Hindu weddings are also some of the most renowned.

That would be awesome. It would also be cool that if you own GP11 and Moschino, you can get wedding-related gigs in the photography career, or make it possible in an update when GP 11 launches. Wishful thinking, I know, but it’d be cool nonetheless
