He continued to have many other women while married. So for him, obviously yes.
The sims in my profile picture rn (Orpheus and Eurydice) would absolutely not cheat. The love lives of my sims are miserable, honestly. Full of cheating, divorces, and other heartache.
Not if I'm playing a vanity sim, but yes for storytelling or to specifically cause trouble. If I want to pair up with a married sim, I will just orchestrate them to break up. There's no point in getting my sim's hands dirty when I can play rotationally and ruin their marriage by acting as an omnipotent force.
Depends on who the sims are, but i almost always make my new save sims woohoo with Bob Pancakes first and foremost lol

I dont really have a set policy on this issue. Sometimes I plan an extra marital affair but sometimes things just seem to happen in game.
I felt abit bad about my current sim having an affair and a child with a married sim as they were best friends with the husband and the wife...but they just couldnt seem to stop flirting so I figured it was meant to be!
I've had my sims do that from time to time because I like the drama. I just wish it was like TS3 where other sims could tell on you. The Sims 3 really added so much drama to the game. I miss it.
In most of my saves? Never. If I wanted my sim to get together with an already married sim, I'd just go and delete all the other family members and pretend they never were.
In the one I'm playing now? Oh yes, everyone is considered "fair game" lol.

Not all my sims but in my one save Lilith Vatore has worked her way through about half the sims in game, turned about half the women and invited about 20 to join her cult (the clubs system is wonderful and with MCCC you can increase the amount of members). This save started as an attempt to build the mansion from Rocky Horror Picture Show before getting sidetracked, which is why also Caleb is married to Frank N Furter in that save.
