I tried making a country house of sorts. Download here
Just so we're clear I know the window on the left is wonky XD I have fixed that on the actual house download.

I have built a furnished cottage for a change, well, an entire farm actually. I was waiting for MCCC to update, so I had plenty of time to build all day yesterday.
Here's Foxglove Farm - get it on the gallery here or find it under my ID: MDianaSims
And some more pictures... thanks to the Bjergsen family for testing (with Daisy the cow and Cotton the llama).
Family country farm, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. loads of extras including conservatory, laundry, yoga/gym, large pool, study. No cc, use MOO. Gallery name: Cherpar (64x64 lot)
I updated one of the Henford's Cottage Living Cottage. Then I decided to bring one of my prep Tiny Cottage in Forgotten Hollow to make a Red Riding Hood Cottage. I used the fox windows & new dark bronze brown stone walls for the outer cottage walls & the printed new wallpapers for the inside walls. I also added my fave werewolf plack for the above the front door & selected the fox door as the front door. I then added the Vampire & Werewolf portraits inside the cottage as well as other historic pictures. I also upgraded my Red Ridinghood sim & her Wolf dog. I played around with the new swatches of the hairstyle hair scarf to the point that I had only two choices, either make Red a brunette or blonde instead of a redhead. I choosed blond & recolored her Wolf dog white. I also made her a Vampire considering we still don't have Werewolves.
Basically I have Werewolves on the brain. Lol
They are saved under my username SEREFRAS in the Gallery for anyone who wants to play it.
I'm looking forward to designing homes/lots for Cottage Living. I love the look of this world.
I made a cottage with a chicken coop on one side and an area for crops on the other that is on the gallery.
This is the "front" OR "side" of the house, depending on which lot it is placed on in the game. It was designed to work with either placement.
This is the "back" OR "front entrance and side" of the house depending on which lot it is placed on in the game.
This is part of the interior of the cottage.
This is the master bedroom which is located on the first floor.
This is the loft/second floor bedroom. Room for a few beds. It currently has two beds and two desks.
Gallery ID is same as my forum id here in case anyone is interested in this one.
I've done 4 so far. Considering I'm american and not too familiar with cottage building, I decided to build from reference. I'm really proud because I almost never put this much detail into my lots. I modeled these off of homes that I found for sale in the Cotswolds. Absolutely love that they include the floor plans in the listing.
I gotta say I'm having a blast. I don't know about you guys, but my sims are acting a lot more natural now and doing things they've never done before. For example, in one of the houses, the kitchen and dining room have a table and I didn't think the dining room would ever get used. But when the kid comes home from school, he goes to do his homework in the dining room and then if other sims are eating, instead of eating at the kitchen table, they join him in the dining room. And I've noticed that my families want to do things together more than before. I don't know if it's specifically cottage living items that are causing it or if that's just the game now. But I've had a sim go and autonomously start helping a different sim who was already cooking. Also had sims go help garden when others are doing it and feed the barn animals together, too. I'm totally loving this now.
I am doing the My Little Pony Adventures in H on B. I am having so much fun.
I found this lot on the gallery from Roxxysims(i think). Downloaded unfurnished. I call it Sweet Apple Acres inspired after Applejack's family home in the cartoon. I didn't get a good daytime pic.

Um I'm pretty sure that's not how rocks are supposed to work!
At first I thought it was TOOL messing up but I checked on another save that I hadn't built on and it was also there so definitely a 'world feature'.

Having plenty of restrooms is pivotal in my venue builds.
When I turned on a kid's movie, all the children gathered in hopes of finding a seat.

I'm a tad late to the Cottage Party but I built a Cottage in a Swamp.
It's called Swamp Thing.
Available on the gallery also.
Gallery ID: CPTN_NXR7
Lotname: Swamp Thing. (50x40)
It's an off the grid lot perfect for 1 single sim. And a family of turtles...
LINK HERE.
More Screenshots:
Screenshots taken in Autumn. In Summer this place looks quite colourful.
Boardwalks.
A Vegetable Garden guarded by Patchy and a Rooster.
Plenty of Turtle Fellas. This is one of 'em anyway.

Interior Shots:
When one flushes the toilet it all goes through a hole straight into the swamp. Where it belongs.
Edit: Here's the photos!
I found this lot on the gallery from Roxxysims(i think). Downloaded unfurnished. I call it Sweet Apple Acres inspired after Applejack's family home in the cartoon. I didn't get a good daytime pic.
I then created the Apple family. Apple Bloom (little girl) Big Mac (guy) Granny Apple and Apple Jack. Fun lot.
Then I created this house by the waterfall for Rainbow Dash. It's suppose to be a house in the clouds and stuff.
And here's Rainbow Dash enjoying a jog down the mountain.
Next is a house/bakery I found on the gallery for Pinkie Pie. Just the shell. I changed the windows and wall color.
Pinkie Pie herself.
More pony people to come....
