Country Kitchen, but mainly by process of elimination.
Don't get me wrong, I kinda like the idea of Kits (ask me again once six or so have been released and we've seen their impact in the wild) but none of these three ideas really thrill me.
But I have zero interest in adding Vacuuming Gameplay to my Sims game. No matter how adorable the Dust Bunnies are. And the Throwback Fit Kit is exactly the sort of thing I'd put on my wish list over at Daz 3D for "When I need it" and then constantly get other things first because I need them more. I like it, but if I'm honest, I can't see myself ever using it.
Country Kitchen would at least give me a new set of cabinets to use besides the ones from Parenthood and Jungle Adventure that are my current defaults, though I'd probably never use the stove. But it's not an aesthetic that I'm particularly hyped to see.
It's flashy and different from what we have already.
The vacuum, i'm not sure. The text talks about aspiration... if it comes with one i may buy it. I also like the idea of trashing more the place... what puts me off are the bunnies...
My favorite refrigerator in game is the one that came with JA now I'm looking way forward to this one and of course the rest that stove and sink are really nice. It helps me round out my more old fashioned households looks wise so they all don't look the same.
I almost chose Bust the Dust first but I'm pretty sure I'll use it less frequently than Country Kitchen stuff. I'm guessing/hoping that the dust will happen if you put something on your lot to trigger it like in laundry day. I know I won't play with it all the time but will be great for certain households... especially those that have maids or butlers. I hope neat and squeamish sims are affected. Looks like kids can do it .. so more possibilities for chores. Also looks like the dust bunnies will have some interactions too, just looking forward to what they are and hope some sims might be afraid of them.
As for the clothing pack... What can I say more options for clothing is good. I like quite a bit of the stuff pictured structurally but will want to see the swatches. Most of my sims aren't into really bright stuff and that's the selling point here. This one is a wait and see.
I hope to see more history clothing inspired "kits" though... like 1920's looks or 1950's looks. So at least this pack tells me we could get more themes I might want. Since I don't do CC they might hit a niche I would look into. Ohh, if we never get a wedding pack it would be nice to have a bridal themed clothing pack too!
I am bad at vacuuming IRL, most likely would be at sims too
But that kitchen set looks nice
My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye..
Sea may rise, sky may fall, My love will never die..
My heart, my heart, My drowning heart, Oh all the tears I've cried
Oh I may weep forevermore, My love will never die..
I can't explain it. I haven't put washers in any of my houses because I'm not interested in simulated chores, supposedly. But the description of this one appeals to me. I don't know if I'll buy it, but I am unexpectedly intrigued.
I won't get it though, because I can't really see me spending simming time on vacuum cleaning the 100+ homes I play on rotation. There is so much I will rather do when i finally stop by again. If I played just one or two houses I'd definitely grab the dust kit
I'm not opposed to the idea of Kits altogether (I'd have to see what they're all about first) but these three defintely don't interest me. If anything, I'd wait until they go half off or just hope to win them in a giveaway.
I love the idea of sims having some more realistic, housework/home maintenance activities to do - vacuuming, mowing lawns, painting walls, weeding, etc - so I’ll buy the vacuum kit for sure.
I hate clunky EA furniture and hideous clothing choices, so no interest in the other two packs. I wouldn’t pay extra for items without new gameplay.
But if these dusty bunnies could bite my sim, so that he sneezes with dust and might even die, so that only a pile of dust remains from him that can be s.u.c.k.e.d in by one of these fancy vacuum cleaners, then I would buy)
I don't think I will purchase it, it's a bit of a grab for money and EA is a specialist for that.
But if I had to choose, it would be the kitchen because for one it's my favorite part of the whole house, and second I always love new recipes.
Country Kit is the one that interests me most of the three listed. I don't have any cc kitchens or foods in my game so new stuff would be welcome. I'd have to see how it fits with what the game has already.
Throwback Kit was my second choice but it's probably not a kit that I'd buy. It seems to feature more stuff for female Sims which I'm not interested in. However, there is one outfit for kids pictured. The colors used on the clothing are kind of awful. I think that using the same color palette of six colors makes everything look the same after a while.
Vacuum Kit looks cute but it doesn't seem to have anything in it that I want in my game. It's probably a pass.
Tbh, it was a tossup between the busting dust and the country kitchen. I love sims doing chores, talk about realism, and the kitchen stuff is a welcome addition...need more stoves and fridges, lol.
The third one, fitness clothes, it made my eyes bleed, no offence.
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.
If this would cause suffering other than tension for my clean sims and my lazy sims purposefully made a mess much to the dismay of my clean sim, then I might be able to have some fun making lazy and clean sims clash.
I also think the terror of the dust bunny would go well with a haunted lot. This game is so safe and perfect that anything offered to stress out, terrorize my sim, or cause any type of chaos is welcomed.
Country Kitchen Kit
Had this been a cooking kit that expands the cooking game play by offering a cook book with recipes for every in game meal, I'd have been all over it. Had it expanded on the cooking skill offering players to obtain wall hanging licenses like poissonnier (seafood) or pâtissier (pastry chef) for learning how to cook all the food, I'd have been all over it. If said discovered recipes were placed into said cookbook and given to future generations so that a child of a sim unable to realize their dream of becoming a chef can get a head start at living out that dream, then yes I would be all over this.
I think the kitchen is nice, but this feels like something I would buy as a plus for a game that feels completed. Sims 4 feels like a bunch of incomplete ideas that always leave you feeling like something is missing. If this game offered flushed out game play that didn't feel so half baked or broken, I would happily welcome cosmetics to add to my game. But at the moment, the game has very little substance for me to be happy for this (even though I think it looks nice).
Throwback Fit Kit
Same issue as kitchen kit, not enough game play in game for me to really appreciate this. While I love color and enjoy playing sims with bold popping colors, most of these just look like recolors of items we already have. Had they gone full 70's-80's with curly hair, leg warmers, and just all the crazy fun of that era, I might have been more inclined to it as it would at the very least be new items instead of stuff so close looking to things we already have I can't even tell if it is new or not.
But if these dusty bunnies could bite my sim, so that he sneezes with dust and might even die, so that only a pile of dust remains from him that can be s.u.c.k.e.d in by one of these fancy vacuum cleaners, then I would buy)
If only the sims wasn't such a picture perfect safe place with absolutely no type of danger other than the pool. Then maybe we could have such a dangerous dust pack. lol The sims ghost could have been gray in color, sneezing all the time, and afraid of dust bunnies. lol

I so miss the LOL button.

Awesome! That's good to know

I think if you don't have the vacuum or duster in the household I don't think dust will generate.

I don't vacuum IRL, so I'm least interested in that pack.

Throwback Fit looks like extras from Fitness.
I’m going with Bust the Dust for the unique gameplay.
And that really would be awesome, Adele.
