MCCC has so many useful tiny features, like disabling the “feature” that makes sims start out with days already lived in the lifestage. I didn’t like sims starting out with 3/21 days until age up in TS3 and I don’t like it any more now. It also allowed me to tag the Sages as immortal and unemployable so I don’t have to worry about the game replacing them.

**The Mod That We Cannot Talk About**
This is, I think without looking, my complete list of mods.
So many people have MCCC in their game. What's the appeal?
First, I like your avatar! I'm a big Phoenix Wright fan. Second, I like to use it for story purposes and also tweaking my game a bit. For instance, my legacy sims live entirely off their creations and only one sim in the house was working. I jacked up the bills because with one sim working to maintain a four sim household, my sims should not be on easy street. Also, I play families and one thing I like to do is stretch out pregnancies for 9 days and should the sims break up or live apart the one who has the child gets child support. MCCC does a lot of other things too so it depends on your play style and I guess your patience, or lack thereof, with things in the game.

Oh my gosh that's a lot of mods! Lol😅😅😅 thanks for sharing though I'm going to check out some of these. Do you get a lot of last exceptions having so many in at once?
None I hate them they have messed up my game so many times I no longer play with them. I do not get the hype about mods at all. They caused more game breaking gameplay then ea has so I no longer use them. I will cc though
I've been using mods in my game for as long as I can remember and so far have never had one mess up my game. As long as you keep them updated and are careful of which ones you download then they cause no problems.
I have used mccc which really messed up my game big time and nearly caused it to not work at all and splice of life which also made my game go odd plus ones I can’t mention just made my gameplay go strange and didn’t work properly. Maybe it’s my laptop or I’m not downloading them right but I hate playing with mods and only had a bad experience with them. I also feel they add very little to my gameplay so it has never been worth the hassle.
Hmm most people have little to 0 issues with those main mods because they are maintained and updated by the creators. I wonder if you didn't have the most updated version?
I have used mccc for years with almost 0 issues. The few glitches it had the creator was made aware and fixed it. I can't play without that mod because it slows time and needs and let's me fill a zone with a large number of sims.
I play with a Varity of mods (Cas and Script.) Some of the CAS I make myself but my top mods are:
MCC
UI Extensions
Redheaded sims's Nintendo mods.
and
The mod that shall not be named...
My mods are not too many. I'm a cc addict lol but the ones I have are: mccc of course. Can't play without that one. Everyday I discover some new useful way to use it and play around with settings
Slice of life, I'm trying it out now after so much praise and love love the invites, the text messages and visits from sims!! After the invites were nerfed I'm so happy to have that again but even better!
I'm not liking the personalities it adds because it's pretty much random bugs for no reason. It can be disabled though but I'm playing around with it. And you can move out almost anything you don't want in the mod. I took out acne, face overlays, menstruation and some other stuff.
One of my top favorite mods is adults can carry kids!! By softm9 I believe her name is. It's a bit glitchy but its something I wanted so long in the sims 😭😭😭 that I overcome the glitches. Really enjoy this one.
I have zulf realistic kids. Love that too because kids can do soooooooo much more like cooking and gardening and yoga etc. So when I play orphan kids trying to survive on their own they can fend for themselves and do much more. Kids can ride bikes is a must also.
I have lotharihoe sim spawn overhaul walkby pets which is one of my new favorites. Brings back vampire visitors, pets in other worlds, keeps sims constrained to their world and more. There are different versions to choose.
I have manderz career socials to unlock all socials because I don't play careers. Prefer to roleplay them.
Mannequin uncapper100 for more mannequins
Mizoreyuki bow at shrine enabled and her stand still in CAS. I was driven crazy without this for so long lol
Scarlet tuck in all ages
Shushu front desk staff which spawns a sim to sit at front desk on the phone and PC and looking like hes busy lol I use it in retail and other lots.
No more auto phone stuff
Revy no temperature deaths
Zero selective auto chat
Zero traditional witchcraft
Lotharihoe sit to eat and drink
Falsohope color at home. So sims can color on any table.
Poseplayer and teleport mod.
And a few other littlemssam and bienchen mods for minor things like having dogs heel longer.
Oh almost forgot more cas columns!!! Omg don't know how I lived without it. Lol especially since I have a massive screen I use 5 columns.
I'm so happy to see other people having a TON of mods too! I think that I probably have almost every one that people have mentioned!
Last count, I had 285 mods, mostly for fixes or to enhance game play. (That's just mods tho, we'll not talk about CC .... my TS4 Mods folder is currently sitting at 21.2GB if that tells you anything! LOL)
Right now I currently only have the following Mods in my game since I started a new TS4 folder after the patch:
MCCC
Basemental Eco Hack (to remove EL effects from all worlds so I can set them to neutral)
Disabled Walk Styles
Auto Employee
Tab Mode Camera Mod
Simulation Lag Fix
All Traits in CAS (this mod takes all of the traits in the game and lets you pick and choose them when creating a sim in CAS), I removed my custom traits when I read it was causing issues with some people after the latest patch/pack, I figured since they were already EA's traits just hidden in the rewards store, they should be fine, and so far they are
I'm playing a new save and I really wanted to see what the Sentiments were like without mods, because I wouldn't be able to tell if what was happening was from the actual game or was from a mod.
I will play this way for awhile and then put back in all of my mods.
I took all my mods out after not playing for almost 2 years, as I did not feel like updating them. Right now I have none, but when I do put one back, it will be the one to keep the vampires away.
Here are most of the mods that I use: I use so many small mods like mods from littlemssam and bienchen so I am using a cmd command to just create a list of them all and putting them in spoilers.

Oh my gosh that's a lot of mods! Lol😅😅😅 thanks for sharing though I'm going to check out some of these. Do you get a lot of last exceptions having so many in at once?
Both littlemssam and bienchen are very good at keeping their mods updated and posting which mods that they have updated so no last exceptions so far. It takes a while to update them but it's not that difficult.
I removed littlemssams more lot trait mods because I suspect they caused one error recently but apart from that, no LE's.
The small mods that disable things don't get updated very often but they seem to still work fine. You can often disable annoying autonomy with MC Command Center, MC tuner but it's tricky to find the right names for their behavior so that you can disable them so I'm happy that these small mods still exist.
None I hate them they have messed up my game so many times I no longer play with them. I do not get the hype about mods at all. They caused more game breaking gameplay then ea has so I no longer use them. I will cc though

I had downloaded the most recent ones but had issues downloading them and then they caused issues in my game maybe it’s my antivirus stuff I don’t know. It got to the point of them causing so many exception reports and issues that it’s no longer worth having them and the gameplay options they added I never felt was worth the hassle of it. I know I am in a very small minority with my views on mods but for me it’s just not worth the hassle. I’ve only reluctantly had cc back in my game and since the new patches had to take that out as my game was crashing and now I’m too scared to put it back in incase is it’s not compatible.
I can't play without MCCC. I have altered time. I made days longer. I set days to 60 and need decay to 50. No more constantly greening Sims. It has story progression. Townies get married and have kids. A lot of mods in one settings panel. Everything from put books away fix to no mean or mischievous actions. I can set it up anyway I choose with no eyeball ring. This means I can disallow CAS items. Tons more by Deaderpool
UI cheats extensions This is a lifesaver when the game doesn't recognize something your Sims did for work or for an aspiration. by weerbesu

Education System Bundle by kawaiiStacie
I need to look into the uni homework/presentation ones; links? (I had Scarlet's Subject Homework mod, but I forgot where I found the link to it and I want to get that back in the game before I start playing one of my families again,)
is this what you mean? Looks very interesting. It was last updated in October.
That's the one -- I like Sims being able to improve skills while doing homework. Says on the page that it's compatible with the November patch, so guess it didn't need an update for SE. And it's compatible with KawaiiStacie's Better Homework mod so I may check that out.

I tried changing the time settings and had some issues (SM festivals starting in the middle of the night), so I went back to default. I do slow down the need decay a bit (I think I'm currently at 75 which seems to work for my Sims), and I use it to cheat skills and traits on Sims I'm not actively playing along with fixing the worst of the fashion faux pas on game-generated Sims.
