Tuned in and this guy is talking about a ton of games, most of them I could care less about.
Dunno why EA didn't just drop a trailer like they normally do.
Back to watching the Weather Channel, it is way more interesting.
wocka wocka wockaWho gave that puppy asparagus?please do not send me private messages - they creep me out 🤢🤮😱
I'm just going to wait until the announcement is made here. Dragon Age 4 isn't in the list and I'm not interested in the other games so I don't fancy watching the stream for ages just for the pack announcement.
Watching the live stream and honestly the graphics on some of these games are insane.
No Sims stuff yet!
Man, they look amazing. If Sims 5 looks like those games i would cry....happy tears But....half of the sims fan base think for some magical reason The Sims would be a bad game, if it looked as good as other modern games do. They think for some unexplainable reason that a life sim, has to be cartoony and look like a nintendo DS game *shrugs shoulders*
I've got so many purchased or wishlisted games on Steam I am not really in the market for more stuff right now. I'll consider the gamepack if it interests me, but DA4 is the game I really want and it's not on that list.

They talked about it some when Bioware was up.
Anything worth knowing, such as setting or the release date?

Basically it's still in production -- looks probably like early 2021 release.
If I was still playing WoW the new Shadowlands would interest me. Sam and Max might be a possibility too -- never played one of their games but they were characters in a poker game I used to play on my iPhone.

A Star Wars pack.... Space would have been okay with me, but Star Wars? 😶 I don't see me using this in my regular stories and I hope we won't see lightsabers and weird masks outside of Batuu.

Ah, at least that's some good news for 2021. After how terrible this year has been, that's something.
Yay!!! As a completely realistic player who has never seen the Star Wars shows, I have actually really been hoping this is what it would be haha! I am really looking forward to, hopefully, some SW themed CAS or posters for my geeky dad and I really hope toy light sabres for my kids. lol! Not sure what'll be included but out of the suggested themes, I guessed and wanted this one most. Honestly I couldn't think of anything else it COULD be though, so I'd have been shocked if it wasn't.
That's a hard pass from me, and I'm very much a Star Wars fan. I've said before I don't mind a few CAS to use as costumes and a few objects here and there as easter eggs, but an entire pack? no thanks.
Now on the other hand, if it were a stand alone sims game I might consider it, but I don't want this to clog up my main sims game.
It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.
It's a stupid Star Wars pack... once again, EA gives us something literally NOBODY asked for... what a shock...
EA: "What do you all wanna see in The Sims?"
Sims fans: "Amusement parks, farming, werewolves, casinos, more family play, etc!"
EA: "Okay, well, here's a Star Wars pack to make your game even more quirky! We know nobody asked for this, but give us $$$ anyway!"
@Lustianicia Actually in that survey they did a few months ago I saw quite a few people say they asked for Star Wars! I wasnt one of them, wouldn't have even thought about it, but I did see quite a few people saying they asked for it in the part where it asked people what brands to partner with
Awesome news for the folks who wanted a Star Wars pack! Personally I may get it on sale (depending on what all the gameplay entails of course), as I'm not a big Star Wars nerd. However, I'm over the moon (see what I did there) for the Star Wars nerds who were hoping for this pack!~
I do play SWTOR from time to time so...hhmmmmmm. The trailer doesn't really show much, though that might be because there isn't much to show. Think the CAS will be the imperial outfits ect, and if they make the twi'lek head tails hats? ugh no. Will need to see more but from what has been showna not all that impressive
Plus the lightsaber fights look like they could just be the sword fights from get famous...
I know a lot of people like bug fix patches...but those are so boring.
I want free content patches. New furniture , new fashion, etc. New gameplay add-ons.
Patches are meant primarily to fix bugs. Content costs time, money, and effort. Things like furniture and game play add-ons have to be bought if they are of any significance. What you are saying is like some saying "They're are safety defects in the car I paid for, but I'd rather have them upgrade the stereo for free than to fix them."
I saw the original Star Wars in 1977. I had the toys, video games, etc. So this sounds cool. The younger generation may not understand how this is cool, but in the 70s and 80s, these movies were epic. I just had a quick glance at the info, but it almost looks like your Sims are going to the Star Wars Galaxy's Edge part of Disney World. A lot of the same things to do there.
Nice to see there's another Star Wars fan from my generation, Yamsisims.
I too remember 1977. I was an 8 year old little girl that had her 1st crush on a young Mark Hamill & dreamt of growing up to be Princess Leia. I even had the dolls.

When I was a kid I played a Sam and Max game. My brothers and I thought it was hilarious for some reason. We were especially amused by the sasquatches.
