It's about this school girl who is chosen to capture monsters/creatures and turn them into cards. And she always has cool outfits every episode. XD I remember I would draw her outfits after every episode. 😭
My computer won't let me post it but it goes like this:
Someone asks their mum whats its like having the best daughter in the world?
and then the mum replies, I don't know, you'll have to ask grandma
its very funny trust me
What are you putting off doing?

I think they're a bit ughhhh. LOL. There's no such thing as being born in the wrong generation. Like when they say, "I wish I was born in the 20's..." Like, gurl, keep quiet and sit down. You won't live without technology.
I was talking abt the generational thing, but I /am/ a dessert! I like cheesecake best, though, so there. Also— there /is/ such a thing as being an old soul, y’know! Like I would actually thrive in the ‘50s. I don’t need the internet. Pfft.

It's probably not a coincidence that most of the time, their sole reason is because they enjoy entertainment from a certain time period, failing to realise that they take countless advancements (like safer healthcare, fast internet, smartphones, video games with HD graphics, generally improved societal morals/values and the list goes on) in modern society for granted. I mean, if they did a little research about the past's flaws, they would likely feel grateful that they were born in the 'wrong' generation. I can cut Coffeecrumblecake some slack though.
What's one expression you discovered is commonly used the wrong way?
“I couldn’t care less” is sometimes said as “I could care less” 🤦♀️.
It’s not just the music and the television that I like from that era, though. I took a class on ‘50s culture and politics to study the rest of it too, so I do know there are downsides to it such as lack of internet, cellular phones, diabetic medication, and total civil equality. But I also don’t think the internet or cellular phones have done society good, and I think evolution is there for a reason, and that civil equality has still not been achieved today. I would seriously be willing to trade every new advancement now for simpler times, for a secretarial job in ‘50s America with plenty to appreciate as well as repair. (I could go on but I don’t wanna bore y’all w my rants lol.) But I do understand how you feel about those who haven’t done all their research and just say so casually!
