What’s your favorite anime about?? 🙃
  • DeKayDeKay Posts: 65,203 Member
It's about this school girl who is chosen to capture monsters/creatures and turn them into cards. And she always has cool outfits every episode. XD I remember I would draw her outfits after every episode. 😭

Hmm if you mean one of the stories I'm writing, it's about a dude who goes on adventure after he's asked to watch this chick's goats for her!

I really liked to read. Sounds basic, I know, but I would literally take five books home from the library each week and devour them all!

It looks like it's coming along great already, thanks to your *talent*! And thank you, I hoped it would.

    Favorite 20th century decade?

2000's to 2010? Actually, more like just 2000's to 2006 cuz everything after that sucks.

Do you use sun screen often?

Yeah, Russian only. I usually don't like songs where I can't understand the words but Wildways is too good for me to skip. LOL!

I'd love to, but I'm quite sure that the videos in my recent YouTube history would be directly against forum rules.

What's your take on people who claim to be 'born in the wrong generation?'

    XD

I think they're a bit ughhhh. LOL. There's no such thing as being born in the wrong generation. Like when they say, "I wish I was born in the 20's..." Like, gurl, keep quiet and sit down. You won't live without technology.

    Fav dessert?

I can't tell if you're one of those people saying they're born in the wrong generation, or that you're a dessert... XD

I wanna say lenses for my other pair of optical frames but they cost like $450... so that's not gonna be enough... Can I just save that $100? :P

    That Fire Emblem game ^_^

I was talking abt the generational thing, but I /am/ a dessert! I like cheesecake best, though, so there. Also— there /is/ such a thing as being an old soul, y’know! Like I would actually thrive in the ‘50s. I don’t need the internet. Pfft.

    What is directly behind you?

It's probably not a coincidence that most of the time, their sole reason is because they enjoy entertainment from a certain time period, failing to realise that they take countless advancements (like safer healthcare, fast internet, smartphones, video games with HD graphics, generally improved societal morals/values and the list goes on) in modern society for granted. I mean, if they did a little research about the past's flaws, they would likely feel grateful that they were born in the 'wrong' generation. I can cut Coffeecrumblecake some slack though.

What's one expression you discovered is commonly used the wrong way?

“I couldn’t care less” is sometimes said as “I could care less” 🤦‍♀️.

It’s not just the music and the television that I like from that era, though. I took a class on ‘50s culture and politics to study the rest of it too, so I do know there are downsides to it such as lack of internet, cellular phones, diabetic medication, and total civil equality. But I also don’t think the internet or cellular phones have done society good, and I think evolution is there for a reason, and that civil equality has still not been achieved today. I would seriously be willing to trade every new advancement now for simpler times, for a secretarial job in ‘50s America with plenty to appreciate as well as repair. (I could go on but I don’t wanna bore y’all w my rants lol.) But I do understand how you feel about those who haven’t done all their research and just say so casually!
