I think they're a bit ughhhh. LOL. There's no such thing as being born in the wrong generation. Like when they say, "I wish I was born in the 20's..." Like, gurl, keep quiet and sit down. You won't live without technology.
It's probably not a coincidence that most of the time, their sole reason is because they enjoy entertainment from a certain time period, failing to realise that they take countless advancements (like safer healthcare, fast internet, smartphones, video games with HD graphics, generally improved societal morals/values and the list goes on) in modern society for granted. I mean, if they did a little research about the past's flaws, they would likely feel grateful that they were born in the 'wrong' generation. I can cut Coffeecrumblecake some slack though.
What's one expression you discovered is commonly used the wrong way?
Yes, I agree. Most of the time, they like the old era due to the clothes or entertainment, but no one is gonna stop them from enjoying those now too!
Can you rub your belly counter-clockwise with your right hand while tapping your head with your left hand while hopping on your right foot while chanting “how much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood”??
