The Filth Stays Below is my entry for RethaSim's Hazard Harbor fantasy save. (Thanks @luckyheather !)There seems to be a surplus of post-apocalyptic survival bunkers so I made its haughty futuristic counterpart instead. Where naturally survivors would hide from the dangers around, this build (and the family that would live in it) arrogantly rises above it.
It is built on the ruins of an old cathedral that has slowly sunk into the filth below—a sanctuary for the troubled affluent.
Despite its size, only two Sims can live here high above the smog. I made the interiors as minimalist, streamlined, and clinical as possible. It’s circular and open in plan. And it doesn’t have stairs too—so it’s not toddler or pet friendly.
The bathroom is at the lowest level and it has a panoramic view of Hazard Harbor.
Main Level - Kitchen, Dining, and Eco Lifestyle stuff. I purposely didn't put windmills because they didn't look sleek enough.
Second Level - Sleeping Pods and Leisure activities
🎵 So comfortable we're livin' in a bubble bubble; so comfortable, we cannot see the trouble, trouble 🎵
Also, I think I have to add this, but I built this for looks and not much for playability although it should keep your Sims alive anyway. This build is impractical to play in (Sims take forever to climb) and sometimes the camera jumps up and down from being too high up when using the TS3 camera (please play in it with the TS4 camera; or not at all if you have motion sickness). Also there're weird shadows that I can't get rid off in the second floor ceiling. I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I hope those that use it'll enjoy it anyway! I'll make up with a more practical build next time! Thanks and happy simming!
Edit: This goes on The Waterfront lot in Evergreen Harbor. I can't believe I forgot it in my lot description.
Storybook Cottage and Windenburg Cottage are both very lovely, warm and homely cottages! @sarabeth2984 Very nice exterior designs, Tuder patterned roofing, and the greenery on the exterior are very nice. Very pretty flowers on the homes edges! Very nice outdoors areas, for Sims to enjoy watching the birds come to the seed feeder, do laundry outdoors and hang the clothes on the clothesline and enjoy doing flower arranging on the table. The interior furnishings are lovely! The homes have a very special warmth and homely feel! Very pretty bedroom wall pattern! The curtains through the homes are lovely! Very nice design of the kitchens! The paved flooring, stone walls, wood textured furniture are very nice, and great older style stove. The cauldron in the first home is great for cooking, making potions and spells! The yellow flowers are a sunny touch on the dining table!
They are lovely cottages!
The Filth Stays Below is a very creatively great futuristic home for Hazard Harbour! @orenjiAi It is great that it is based on the ruins of an old cathedral that has sunk into the ground and is a sanctuary for Sims affected by what is happening in the world. The circular exterior design, dome roofing, wraparound balconies and architectural design are very great! Very nice glass windows, which give great outdoors views! The open plan interior layout are very nice, and the sleeping pods are great! Sims will using the recycler and fabricator on the balcony.
It is a very creatively designed home!
Howdy! Nice work everyone I'm sharing the last new build for around to weeks to come, as I'll have to shift my attention to something personally important! No worries I'll still be around!
The name along the gallery itself was inspired by the Pink Floyd album, The Wall. To put it simply, the wall’s a metaphor of isolation. The entire album itself is the story of the wall, which makes it a rock opera.
I have to say while the installation looked fine, it's not all up to my expectation especially as I'm writing this. I'm going to rework this some time, but not now.
The hollowed windows on sides were placed in an order somewhat like a chessboard or café walls, on which a window would never have a “neighbor”. Plus the darkened tiles in their places, added a lot to the accents. (With lights through them at night they look wonderful in another way )
The layout from the first to top floor.
There's a whole square behind the dividing structure, which hosts a number of outdoor installations.
We have a few of those, as I said. The largest and the most noticeable is the Brick Wall, which is most obviously a little tribute to the album we mentioned at the beginning
Take a loot inside the gallery, we had a lot in exhibition. Public thrones! Yes sims can sit on them(eating not recommended)
Insecure feelings? How about more security cameras? Would you like to watch TV? We would love to keep an eye on you too!
Take the stairs up we have more to see. From rainbow colored banners to flags. And to posters that spreads hate spirit of universities! Oh, we have a living statue too
The top level houses workspaces for various of artists, painters, sketchers, street artists, sculptors, musicians, kids and then some! Clothing optional, the same as anywhere else in our gallery!
That's it! I'm done with my last new lot on Ridgeline Drive, Newcrest! I'll take a break for other stuff for about half a month. Happy simming to all who read this Have a pleasant day IRL too.
The Bricking Wall Gallery is a great modern art gallery! @LibertyTheFree The exterior architectural design is very creatively great designed ! It looks very stylish! The interior wall of security cameras is a great touch!
@LibertyTheFree I love your museum/art gallery! It’s perfect! I especially like how you carefully thought of each of the display pieces. Very artistic indeed.
Survival in City Ruins is a very creatively designed eco living build! @luckyheather It is very detailed! The exterior design of the home and the wall textures are great! Very great outdoors areas with the tents, bbq and picnic table, rubbish . firepit, and dumpster areas! The old car areas are great! Very nice furnishing of each level! Sims will enjoy making candles on the candle maker machine. It is great there are generators in the build. Very nice greenhouse with hydroponic gardens for Sims to enjoy growing and harvesting the plants.
It is a great build for Hazard Harbor!
Sulani Bar & Restaurant is a lovely island venue for Sims to enjoy eating and having a drink! @illusie Very nice exterior design, wood texture, and the signs and pretty floral greenery are very nice on the exterior walls. Very lovely roof covered dining tables and chairs area on the deck! Sims will enjoy dining there in the outdoors sea air. The candles and flowers are pretty on the tables, and the footwear string lights are very nice. Very nice indoors bar area for Sims to enjoy sitting on the stools having a drink from the bar and listening to juke box music. The ships wheel and life ring are great touches on the walls.
The sunset screenshots are very lovely!

: Old Fizzy Juice Factory is a very great modern industrial home that been converted from being a factory! @luckyheather Both the exterior design and outdoors areas, and the interior layout and furnishing of each area is very great! It is such a very detailed build! Very nice basement hydroponics gardens and gaming areas, , and very nice areas for sims to enjoy making fizzy drinks using the fizzy juice machines just like it formerly was used for as a factory. Sims will enjoy using the eco living machines that are outdoors and inside the home, as well as doing woodworking and diving into dumpsters! Thankyou very much for using my art!

Notes: She was created for a 'Maniac' challenge #weeklycaschallenge
Story: Toni is a green fiend to the point of being a maniac about it, talking to plants, hugging trees rather than people and she has weird dress ideas and often forgets her underwear needless to say, some people just tend to avoid her.

I did lock the lowest doors for household only or random people might use the machines or bedroom/bathroom. My builder tested ladders etc and filled generators and Insect farms plus did some upgrades including the weather machine on the roof.
