Female. I like fashion and there's more options for female sims, dressing male sims is just boring. Currently I'm playing with just one female sim but honestly it varies, sometimes I play with a male sim and a female sim

I think I play both pretty equally.

    Male
Almost all of my Sims are male. I almost said "other" because maybe 33% of those can get pregnant, so I can play with genetics. Some are girlier than others.

I play all genders, but usually male or female. Those are tied.

    Male
Male, as I typically play a Sim loosely based on myself.

Both equally, I've had some girls who are downright sassy and some guys who despite their hotheaded trait turn out to be really sensitive little souls. I also play non binary a lot...because I can now.

Male. Always. Every single time. Probably because I'm a heterosexual female and I like playing with sims that attract me?.. Or because I've got a lot of brothers. Or because I'm kind of a tomboy myself... I don't know! I just connect to them much more easily. I rarely get attached to female sims. My current household has only one female sim, it took me over half a year to get her and as much as I love her I probably won't even play through her teenage years

Oh and dressing up is the best part because I've got a ton of male CC ;)

When I'm not playing the Family Man Challenge I usually play as a female Sim. I love getting to customize their looks more and I like to have them develop a really good career. I just find them more fun to play lol

I actually play both equally. I can play male sims or female sims with no preference. I do play a more hetero-normative game but LGBTQ+ sims do appear in my game. I try to avoid stereotypes. Depending on the situation, a gay sim typically comes out. I had a female sim who kept dating all the men in Willow Creek. She's now married to a woman and happier.

Anyway, I have equal interest in my male sims and female sims.

I almost always play female sims and have all female households. I sometimes let my sims have a male twin but I eventually move them out.

Both and I made Madea Simmons who I tried to make true to the character and made trans. I love Tyler Perry's acting as Madea and his respect for women in his movies.

Female, the majority of the time.

Male! I do roll female sims to populate my sim worlds and as background NPCs (I delete any random townies) as a world without female sims is just weird and unnatural, but they're rarely part of my game play.

Hmmm.... By these statistics, at least 31% of the clothing and hair should be male.

My main save has around 300 households and I made sure the ratio would be 50/50. Some of my fave Sims lately were male, but I like playing with female Sims just as much.

Always Male. Makes it a lot easier to connect with them and immerse myself.
