Shortly after Winterfest it's Justin's birthday! He's a bit older than Evelina, she's not going to age up in a while still. They all travel out to the lighthouse to spend another beautiful day outdoors.
Kari and Selina go home early, and Aksel has dinner with his parents at the lighthouse restaurant.
The winter holidays are going by in a calm and pleasant manner. Evelina enjoys spending some extra time with her kids, and the kids love to do pretty much whatever they want the whole day.
Justin is trying to do some freelance work, but he's not very self disciplined and is mostly playing computer games while his family thinks he's working.
Evelina has maxed out her handiness skill, and is now able to break open the mysterious entrance in Oasis Springs.
The grotto is a gorgeous place, and Evelina is able to find some extra rare crystals in here.
She's brought Justin with her, but a part of her kind of regrets it. She has the feeling she would have enjoyed this more by herself.
When they get home, Evelina has a lot of accumulated frustration that she's not quite sure where comes from, but she ends up taking it out on her husband.
Evelina and Justin are arguing almost constantly through this weekend. After Winterfest Justin has put on quite a bit of weight, and Evelina has discovered that he's hardly delivering any freelance work. She is trying to make him stop pouring drinks and eating all the leftover turkey, and get back to programming and exercising.
The children are entertained by grandma, the cats and each other, and don't notice their parents' fighting.
Evelina is trying to calm herself down with some boxing in the laundry room.
While her husband seems to have stagnated, Evelina has advanced a lot in her career lately and now bears the title Pioneer of new Technology. She's getting to do so much exciting stuff!
She has great hopes for her latest invention, a Wormhole generator.
One evening while observing the stars through their telescope, Evelina is suddenly abducted by a UFO.
When she's brought back home a few hours later, she refuses to tell Justin anything about her experience. She feels like it's too special to share with him.
She's working late more often these days. Mostly because she's trying to finish upgrading the rocket with every possible addition, but maybe also because she kind of prefers being at work than being around her lazy husband.
And when she gets home and it turns out Justin hasn't done any housework all day, she's just about had enough of this. Whenever she comes home she just feels completely disconnected.
Alfred has just aged up to a young adult, and even though he really loves living in his aunt's luxurious house in beautiful Sulani, he is eager to start on his own independent journey. So he's applying for University!
While waiting for his acceptance letter, he still does his part time life guard job and spends a lot of time practicing soccer. He's hoping to make the University team!
He's heard Britechester is a beautiful town, but he will certainly miss this.
Alfred has enrolled in Britechester University in their biology degree program. He's moved into one of their penthouse dorms with a bunch of other students, and is now exploring his new campus.
He and his roommate came up with the amazing idea to play soccer indoors in their room. That didn't go very well.
The term starts tomorrow, and Alfred is already getting to know his way around campus quite well. He's probably going to stop by the commons a lot.
He's working afternoon lifeguard shifts four days a week, which is going to be a tough combination with four classes. But he's not super concerned about his grades, he's never been the academic type and doesn't expect to graduate with honors.
His dormmates seem fascinated by his job, though. He doesn't have any issues getting to know new people, so the social aspect of uni is going to be a success for sure.
The local bar is already his favorite hangout spot. On nights when he doesn't feel like studying (which is most nights), he heads sown there for some ping pong and beers. He meets a lot of interesting people there, like this girl Angela Pleasant who is great at ping pong and also seems to be kind of into him although she goes to the rival school.
He keeps thinking about her the next day while doing his homework in the library.
To Alfred's delight there are some great fishing spots around campus. Here he's checking out one of them while the art club is having a painting session in the background.
He ends up hanging out with Julia, a girl that pretty much shows up out of nowhere. She's not in the art group, apparently she was just in the area and she's super sociable.
She eagerly agrees to play soccer with him, but it turns out she's not very good.
Well, that's a bad ending to an otherwise great afternoon with a new friend.
The results are ready, and he did fine this semester. He even got an A! His average is B, and he's happy with that. Time to celebrate!
And time to move housing. He's sick of the huge dorm and is moving to a smaller university housing for next semester. It's not super fancy, but it's homey and spacious.
Foosball is also a popular activity at his University housing.
One of the girls who is visiting today, Becca, is one of the coolest girls he's met at Uni and they're becoming good friends.
Next time doing homework at the library, he bumps into Lilith again. This time she seems a lot more friendly towards him!
Miraculously, she agrees to go on a date with him. He's so baffled by this he forgets all about Julia and joins Lilith for dinner at a small tavern where they have a really nice time.
New semester, new chances for good grades. So far he hasn't really put in enough effort to get past the B mark. But he's been so busy with soccer and dating!
Soccer practice can be rough, and Alfred has brought a painful wrist injury upon himself.
Game Day party! As a respected team player and spirit corps member, Alfred is the center of attention.
They won the game, and of course he joins the celebration at the pub afterwards.
Suddenly Lilith shows up with a surprise for him... And to let him know that she doesn't see herself as a mom person, so he should prepare himself to play a big part in this kid's life.
It doesn't take long before the news reaches Julia, who from now on wants absolutely nothing to do with him.

They're able to go play in the harbor by themselves now, but Aksel isn't setting a great example as a big brother right now.
It's the first day of spring, and the snow is starting to melt.

The dorm can generally be quite gross.
Other times it's a nice place to hang out and do homework with others.
He also has to do a presentation for one of his finals.

He wins crushingly, and she doesn't take it very well and leaves. He doesn't find her any less attractive.
Alfred's finals are here, and he's doing some last minute studying.

Julia is there too, and he seems to have forgiven her for kicking a ball to his head the other day.
She follows him home afterwards, and this good night kiss happens.
And he has another go at the rival school statue.
In the evening he meets up with Julia at the pub.
They've both been thinking about this since their little kiss yesterday, and after some rounds of foosball they both have enough courage.

He's usually exhausted when he comes home at night.
To get in better shape, he spends a lot of time at the gym. Sometimes with Julia, who is very impressed with his soccer skills - most of the time.
He's playing a dangerous dating game now... But he doesn't want to let Julia go until he knows for certain where things are going with Lilith.
And indoor time.
And here we go!
During the party, Lilith keeps flirting more and more obviously with Alfred.
Which he obviously doesn't mind, and one thing leads to the next.
Soccer practice can be rough, and Alfred has brought a painful wrist injury upon himself.
