here it is. Edit: Not gonna lie, I watched it the second time but in 0.5 speed while listening to Ciara's version of Paint It Black https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L09ld07hEVc
I am a little bit disappointed personally... I was hoping for an enchanted woods type world with magical creatures and I am not too fussed about the space islands... Granted I do like the water falls and the magic shops but I wish it wasn't in space... It doesn't look too magical for me. I don't necessarily like the CAS style either, it looks more goth and similar to Vampires than what I would have liked. I will reserve my judgement until we have more info on gameplay though because that is what matters to me, and I hope it is interesting
I disagree with you there. I think that the whole other plane vibe is excellent. Very D&D.
I think I would have felt the "other plane" vibe better if the world was bigger, like a big island with woods etc. But since the islands are very small they just look like random rocks lost in space and look more SF to me somewhat. But you never know maybe when playing they look bigger and better than in the trailer
wait a minute, is the new playable lifestate supposed be a combination of witches and wizards hence the name spellcaster?
I think it's more so that you can create whatever kind of spellcaster you want. There are so many different types, Wizards, Warlocks, Witches, Sorcerers, mages etc. It really sounds like we'll be able to completely customize our magic
a profoundly wise man, especially one who features in ancient history or legend.
(It's gender neutral)
the legend of Zelda typically features sages a lot in their games, and each sage typically represents an element, forest, fire, water, shadow, spirits etc. But they are very wise/skilled beings.
EA has exclusively put ocean swimming only in sulani. if they implemented ocean swimming in this pack, aint nobody be buying that 40$ glorified game pack then and a wrong move for EA.
on topic, 10 minutes left till the reveal!
They said they were looking into updating all old worlds to include swimming though!
Didn't they say long time ago, that making modifications like that would break a save? Weather is understandable, as it's not tied to an object. The ocean can be classified as an object, since it can be clicked and all.
Kind of explains why functional animated car still are absent, as that would take time rewriting/reprogramming unwalkable roads. I personally would keep my expectations low that Gllimmerbrook will get ocean swimming, even provided when IL is installed.
is someone who has attained wisdom. The sort of person who lived in a cave and you had to go on a quest to find him! He gives you advice to finish your quest. In my books read anyway.
Hyped! I'm going to try to keep my expectations low until I know more (because Mermaids went sideways with weird limitations like... ladders) but I'm loving what I'm seeing so far
Cool...I am still on the fence, I am not disappointed..but I wouldn't call myself excited either....still need more info and stuff...-shrugs- Also, don't particularly like the magic town is in space...we have enough space themed stuff in the sims 4....

Generally a very wise man. With experience. Or the herb I put in my turkey stuffing. I think the first one fits better. ;-)
AHQ Champion
Yeah, the world works like the secret neighborhoods because it is one.
Usually a Wise One. I imagine that, in the Spellcaster world, it's someone of rank, like Master Vampires.
YES!!!!!!!
Oh nah, you didn't miss it, I had asked because I was confused and only got an answer like 5-10 minutes ago. I'm excited too though.

Only 15 potions? Supernatural had way more. But at least we have more spells.
