Strange, I discovered that if you saved your sims after you get that rewards, then delete old world along your sims and start new game and import your saved sims move in new world, it's work on first week, on tuesday at noon after your first bills, but I'm not sure it's will work everyweek or will break later on, I'm not sure what is cause not working in first place.

shrewd work in my game and every save game I have (To me it looks like a mod you have, stops it working.) yes I do have mods in my game and it still works
I don't ever use mod, and it's don't work at all, unless I saved sims and start new world to reset that to work but it's won't work in old world where sims got it for some reasons.
The only mods I have are MCCC and little miss sam’s vampire powers mod. Shrewd wasn’t working for me since before I downloaded the vampire powers mod so if it’s a mod doing this it would have to be MCCC. But I’d doubt that MCCC would do this - I’ve never experienced any other issues from MCCC and Deaderpool is very diligent.
