This dry creek bed, below an abandoned bridge, is the nighttime resting place of a woodland sprite, named Cricket. She's a master herbalist and had to poison a troll that once lived here in order to claim this ideal spot for herself. Cricket is happiest when she's outdoors and surrounded by the solitude of nature. As an herbalist, she naturally spends much of her time collecting insect specimens. Her favorite are Will-o-the-Wisps...she feels a kinship to the lovely little creatures...they're very rare and she's quite proud of the three she has in her collection.
The old full-service gas station, that sits on the large corner lot of Bridgeview in Newcrest, has been closed down for many years. The owner of the property has decided to lease it out but he's not too keen on changing it...at least not the exterior. Celeste Finney was a very successful model when she was young and now she's ready to turn her creative passions to starting up a lifestyle and fashion magazine. She looks at the old gas station and thinks there's no way she can turn this into a headquarters...just no way...but the owner is offering a sweet lease deal and gives permission to have the interior renovated to suit the magazine's needs. So Celeste partnered up with Saturnspoon Builders and together they have attempted to create a quirky, retro but sophisticated little fashion studio. Let's wish Celeste and Town & Sim Magazine all the success!
I will repost here what I wrote on the other threads

Thank you @rosemow! Your kind comments are always appreciated. It's not so easy to do a base game build once you have added so many expansions and stuff packs. Very difficult to narrow down your choices and stick with it.
When I was a child I didn't believe in Santa Claus. When I was VERY young my father said to me, "There's no such thing as Santa! I'm the "MFer" who puts in the overtime at the truck plant and your mother and I buy your gifts." (sorry, but that's what he said...he was a blunt man) Ironically, today would have been his 67th birthday if he were still alive. I'll be 47 years old this Friday, and looking back, I understand why he said it and I'm not traumatized over it. In addition, my Mom was a practicing hardcore Evangelical and Santa didn't have much of a place in our Christmas traditions. I still always enjoyed watching other kids, who did believe in Santa, meet him to have their pics made and to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. I might have been jealous of their excitement. I loved how there would always be a backdrop with a fireplace, decorated tree and piles of presents. I appreciated the work that went into the decorating and also the kindness and patience that was always exhibited by the person playing Santa. So that is why I incorporated the special area of Gingerbread Cafe just for Santa's meet and greet.
Gingerbread Cafe is a lovely place for Sims to enjoy visiting and dining at Very pretty exterior design, Christmas lights on roofing, snowflakes prints on wall, strings of stars and starry night lights and Christmas wreath on the roofing. The colourful circles footpath, coloured floor lights, cute snowmen and nut crackers , party hats and pretty Christmas tree and presents in the front area are lovely! Very beautiful fireplace area where kids can enjoy meeting Santa! The festive wall and window decorations, candles and cards on the fireplace ledge, patterned floor rug. and the Christmas tree are lovely! Very nice interior dining area! It looks very nice the way the dining tables and chairs have been set up for Sims to enjoy eating and drinking what they have bought at the cafe. Very nice festive decorations around the windows and the stone texture of the fireplace wall is homely and warming.
It is a very nice gingerbread build
Happy birthday for Friday!
I grew up in a rural Kentucky county, where there was a town named Bethlehem. Every year the local churches of Bethlehem came together to produce a live Nativity for a few nights leading up to Christmas Day. It was our tradition to bundle up and go to the Nativity every year and then ride around looking at lights. It was always a moving and tender experience and I was thrilled to find the Nativity artwork by #rosemow to help create my vision. The chapel is decorated for a Christmas wedding inside and features interior and exterior custom paintings by @rosemow . Thank you @rosemow for the use of your beautiful paintings! They inspired me to build this.
Holy Night Chapel is so very, very beautiful! It is such a very lovely and special Church build! The background details that you wrote are very nice Very lovely exterior design and Church steeple, and the lights are pretty on the roofing edges. The Christmas wreaths are nice touches on the front exterior entry area. It is so very beautiful the way you have done the outdoors manger scene You have done it so very lovely! Very nice furnishing and layout of thr interior! The festive wall decorations, wreaths and garlands on the windows are very nice. It is nice there is a piano to play music through the Church/wedding service. Pretty flower petals on the middle aisleway. The pews are very nice either sides of the aisle and pretty flowers on the pedestals at the end of the pews. The candlelight picture is lovely placed on the wall behind the wedding arch.
It is a very lovely build Thankyou very much for using my art!
I wanted to create a place for a young sim, whose fresh out of university and with a promising career, and on their own for the first time. This isn't a starter home...I just don't have the knack for building starter homes. This lot allows for skill building in: cooking (stove and grill), athletics (punching bag and basketball court), handiness (crafting bench), art (garage door murals), gardening and any other skill you can develop with a computer and a book case. So you see, this place offers lots of opportunities for Sim growth.
