How to remove "Love" relationship ?

Hi,

One day I did a mistake, my sim did a romantic interaction with somebody who should only be a friend.

Even if their "love" relationship is 0 point, this NPC often tries a romantic interaction.

Is there a way to remove the "love" relationship ?

The only way I know is using the mc command to make the sim forget. I don't know if you can achieve the same with a cheat.

Or maybe I should delete the sim and reload an old backup from the gallery.

After I can rebuild the relationship by using cheat code.

modifyrelationship John Doe Jane Doe -50 Romance_Main Modifies a relationship between two Sims by subtracting 50 points from their Romance Score.

NOTE: "John Doe" is the selected Sim, and "Jane Doe" is the targeted Sim. To make mutual changes to the relationship, the target Sim must then become the selected Sim, and the cheat must be entered again. Mutual changes occur only when using this cheat on both Sims.

Some people said that the cheat will reset once your travel to another lot. I'm not too sure about this but you can try it first.

The only options I can think of is to delete that other person if possible, or save your sim to your Library if you want to keep all of his skills and traits and then delete the one you have now and put the 'new' one in.

It's done, it worked without problem.

I used "modifyrelationship" "Friendship_Main" to restore their friendship, it's perfect now.

It’s possible this cheat got removed at some point. Did you have testingcheats on?

There is an interaction where you can ask another Sim to just be friends. It's a friendly interaction.

It would empty the romantic relationship metre, but it will still be there.

I would like to know how to remove an old flame from the love interest category. At one time my Global Superstar had four or five! He had two serious relationships prior to the one that's for keeps. Another one was a teen whom he liked but didn't allow that relationship because, well, you know, she was jail bait.

Yet, despite how the relationships ended and one even has a bit of red in place of the pink bar, there their images sat. Face/palm.

Null romance is marked as "Just friends".
